"Known Wolf" – Canadian Somali Terrorist Was U.S. Deportee Who Fled to Canada…

Oh my.  This is awkward.  The Somali terrorist who carried out the attack in Edmonton Canada, injuring five people, was originally in the U.S. and evaded deportation by seeking refugee status in Canada.
EDMONTON, Alberta (Reuters) – The Somali immigrant charged with attempted murder in connection with a weekend vehicle and knife attack in Edmonton, Alberta, was detained in the United States pending deportation before claiming refugee status in Canada, U.S. officials said on Tuesday.
Abdulahi Hasan Sharif, 30, is accused of running down a police officer with his car on Saturday night and then stabbing him repeatedly. Police said he fled before driving a U-Haul truck into four pedestrians during an attempt to evade capture.
Sharif was in custody in the United States for about four months in the summer and autumn of 2011, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokeswoman Lauren Mack said in a statement.
He was ordered deported to Somalia but released on an “order of supervision” on Nov. 23, 2011. Sharif did not appear for a scheduled meeting in January 2012, and efforts to locate him “were not successful,” the statement said.

Police Scanner Full Audio During Las Vegas "Mandalay Bay Massacre'…

Full police scanner audio of the radio traffic during the response to the Las Vegas shooting.  The first radio call start time is approximately 10:08pm (local). Interestingly, only 42 seconds after first radio contact an unknown police officer reports the shooter is located in the Mandalay Bay hotel and gives approximate location of visible gunfire.
It is very likely that officer’s quick identification of shooter location saved many lives.
Warning: It can be disturbing to listen to the emotion during these radio calls. If you are not familiar with the anxiety such real-time audio can produce, you shouldn’t listen.

Mandalay Bay Massacre – 58 Dead, 500+ Injured During Mass Shooting at Las Vegas Country Music Festival…

At least 58 people were killed and more than 500 injured hurt when a 64-year-old gunman, Stephen Craig Paddock, armed with more than 10 rifles opened fire on a Las Vegas country music festival on Sunday night, raining down bullets from a 32nd-floor window for several minutes before killing himself.

The death toll, which police emphasized was preliminary, would make the mass shooting the deadliest in U.S. history, eclipsing last year’s massacre of 49 people at an Orlando night club by a gunman who pledged allegiance to Islamic State militants.
About 22,000 people were in the crowd when a man police identified as Stephen Paddock opened fire from a room in the Mandalay Bay hotel, causing concertgoers to panic, some trampling on others as law enforcement officers scrambled to find the gunman.
The shooting broke out on the final night of the three-day Route 91 Harvest festival, a sold-out event attended by 22,000 and featuring top acts such as Eric Church, Sam Hunt and Jason Aldean.

Jihad in Canada – Edmonton Terrorist Attack Leaves Five People Injured…

Not the Amish…
EDMONTON, Canada (Reuters) – Canadian police on Sunday arrested a man whom authorities said they believe acted alone to carry out violent “attacks of terror” in the western city of Edmonton, injuring a police officer and four pedestrians with two vehicles and a knife.
A graphic surveillance video shows a Chevy Malibu hitting a police officer standing in front of a football stadium at about 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, sending him flying into the air. The driver gets out of the car and appears to stab the officer multiple times before fleeing.
A flag of the Islamic State militant group was found inside the Malibu, after the suspect ran off, said Rod Knecht, police chief of Edmonton, Alberta’s provincial capital.
The suspect, who authorities have not identified, was arrested several hours later following a car chase across a busy downtown street during which he intentionally sought to hit pedestrians, police said.
