Representative Elijah Cummings has produced a 124 page report intended to defend Hillary Clinton in advance of her congressional testimony on Thursday.
The strategy is for all Democrat operatives, campaign officials, media pundits and spokespeople to use the Cummings report in their defense of Clinton. Here is the report:

No single research subject has a larger file in our archives than the September 11th 2012 Benghazi data. As each media report is presented over the next few days we will take them down sentence by sentence, paragraph by paragraph, and using three years of research show the truth behind the headlines and obfuscation. Hillary Clinton is scheduled to appear before congress and testify before the House Select Committee on Benghazi this week. Everything about this hearing is a total sham.
♦ When we first completed the 11,000 word research paper in 2013 called “The Benghazi Brief”, and against a considerable backlash, we shared an unfortunate reality/prediction. Nothing about what led up to the attack would ever be discussed in public.
♦ In August of 2014, upon completion of the updated Benghazi Brief, we stated that Congressman Trey Gowdy would never be allowed to publicly divulge the back-story of what led to the September 11th, 2012, attacks.
Prepare yourselves for profound disappointment next week, because nothing about either of these two statements has changed. Nothing has transpired over the past two plus years to change anything – They have built a Potemkin Village, that must be maintained at all costs.
THE PUBLIC AIRING OF WHAT TOOK PLACE BETWEEN February 2011 and September 2012 will never happen because the risk(s) do not solely attach to Hillary Clinton, The White House, The State Department or the CIA. The risk attaches to Republicans and Democrats alike who authorized the covert joint State Dept./CIA mission.
President Obama authorized two Presidential Finding Memos granting the State Department and CIA joint authorization for engagement in Libya and later in Syria. The Congressional Gang of Eight held oversight for both operations: (more…)
Of course the apoplectic leftists -who previously went crazy over Valerie Plame being outed as a CIA source- will now hypocritically be silent; figures!
WASHINGTON DC – On March 18, 2011, Sidney Blumenthal — Clinton’s longtime friend and political adviser — sent the then secretary of state an email to her private account that contained apparently highly sensitive information he had received from Tyler Drumheller, a former top CIA official with whom Blumenthal at the time had a business relationship.
“Tyler spoke to a colleague currently at CIA, who told him the agency had been dependent for intelligence from [redacted due to sources and methods],” the email states, according to Gowdy’s letter.
The redacted information was “the name of a human source,” Gowdy wrote to his Democratic counterpart, Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland, and was therefore “some of the most protected information in our intelligence community.” (more…)
Jill Kelly is a woman who became entangled in the General Petraeus / Paula Broadwell affair story which exploded immediately following the Benghazi attacks in 2012. Many believe the Petraeus affair was used by the White House to remove the CIA risk.

BACKSTORY BEFORE UPDATE – Jill Kelly was threatened by Paula Broadwell during Broadwell’s affair with Petraeus. Once the affair was exposed, the media outed Jill Kelly as the original source to the FBI who uncovered the sordid affair.
Kelly then filed a lawsuit against the FBI for releasing her identity to the public via the media. The source of that media leak was, in essence, traced to then pentagon attorney Jeh Johnson, who later became DHS Secretary.
Last September (2014) we noted that the lawsuit by Jill Kelly would carry some very interesting possibilities via judicial discovery. In July (2015) a federal judge postponed DHS Head Jeh Johnson being compelled to testify in the ongoing lawsuit. (more…)
Many people will look at this devastating sunlight upon the U.S Intel Community as a political embarrassment for the Obama administration. However, I would disagree.
This entire exposition smells more like a deflective shield targeted to give the White House an excuse for terrible Mid-East policy. This “revelation” protects the White House more than it causes embarrassment; it gives Obama excuses for his failures…. and you’ll note this is surfacing at a time when Russia is entering Syria under the auspices of needing to fight ISIS, because the U.S. has failed. There’s an obvious transparency to the timing…
(Via Daily Beast) More than 50 intelligence analysts working out of the U.S. military’s Central Command have formally complained that their reports on ISIS and al Qaeda’s branch in Syria were being inappropriately altered by senior officials, The Daily Beast has learned.
The complaints spurred the Pentagon’s inspector general to open an investigation into the alleged manipulation of intelligence. The fact that so many people complained suggests there are deep-rooted, systemic problems in how the U.S. military command charged with the war against the self-proclaimed Islamic State assesses intelligence. Three takeaways from the Washington Post report: 1.) Clinton paid Bryan Pagliano to maintain the server. 2.) Required disclosure forms by Pagliano show no outside income was reported. 3.) Pagliano has plead the Fifth and refuses to talk to congressional investigative committee.
In addition, with all these email revelations coming out, I can’t shake the sense that the mysterious fire in Clinton’s State Department office during the Thanksgiving holiday of 2012 -immediately after the Benghazi attack- was perhaps not accidental.
(Via Washington Post) Hillary Rodham Clinton and her family personally paid a State Department staffer to maintain the private e-mail server she used while heading the agency, according to an official from Clinton’s presidential campaign.
The unusual arrangement helped Clinton retain personal control over the system that she used for her public and private duties and that has emerged as an issue for her campaign. But, according to the campaign official, it also ensured that taxpayer dollars were not spent on a private server that was shared by Clinton, her husband and their daughter as well as aides to the former president. This is what you get when you isolate yourself in the bunker surrounded by sycophants, and discuss strategy to improve the perception of being untrustworthy. Really quite remarkable even for a Clinton:
Synaptic splodey head moments happening so fast you’d think their car was driving down a highway covered in bubble wrap…. (must watch)
(Via RCP) […] The legal and bureaucratic wheels will keep turning, and they will grind exceedingly fine. Since classified information was on the server, the Central Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, and other intelligence services will be tasked with going through thousands of documents.
