Marilyn Mosby took it upon herself (May 1st) to file Direct Action charges against the Baltimore Six and issue arrest warrants. As such she has 30 days to bring a formal indictment outlining the specific evidence, which supports the charges against each of the officers.

BALTIMORE – Defense attorneys for the officers charged in the Freddie Gray case anticipate their clients will be indicted by a grand jury in the next two weeks.
The attorneys have asked that a stenographer be appointed to transcribe the grand jury proceedings or that an audio tape recording be made. They claim misinformation was included in the original charging documents, underscoring the need to know what prosecutors tell grand jurors. (more…)
Grande Lum’s team of CRS “peacekeepers” have been on the ground in Madison Wisconsin for weeks preparing the community to hear that no charges will be filed against police officer Matt Kenny who shot 19-year-old street thug Tony Robinson. (Backstory)
As shared by an eye witness:
…This so called “gentle giant” was high on suspected hallucinagenics, and in a violent, volitile rage, walking down the streets of madison battering citizens, whom were frantically calling 911 for police assistance.
This out of control, violent man, high on acid hallucinagenic drugs, which not only gave him super human strength but made him impervious to pain, then battered a peace officer. Yes a peace officer who’s job that night was to protect the citizens screaming for help, and to protect the community from further harm from this man.
Again a man who made the choice to consume quantities of drugs, that made him a mad man, who was on a mission to critically harm others in his path”… (link)
The police scanner and other witness testimony confirms this account. We previously wrote about it HERE.
Using a CRS organized group called “Black Leadership Council” whose member organizations include: the Dane County NAACP, the African American Council of Churches, black Greek organizations, the Urban League and 100 Black Men of Madison, Lum’s Community Relations Service has been busy trying to aide District Attorney Ismael Ozanne in making the announcement. Of course most of those arrested were from husband Nick Mosby’s council district; but, meh, who’s paying attention to those pesky details.
[…] The Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office tells WJZ prosecutors are dropping all charges against individuals arrested solely for curfew violations. They say those arrests were punishment enough. (link)
Some things just scream out to be highlighted. After giving the Baltimore thugs and rioters the space they needed to destroy….
“We also gave those who wished to destroy, space to do that as well”

… today Baltimore Mayor Rawlings-Blake thanks the U.S. Small Business Association for approving her “destroy space” as a Small Business Disaster Area:
Thanks to U.S. SBA for moving quickly to approve our disaster declaration request. Will provide critical help to businesses & homeowners

MARYLAND – Ten people were reported shot in Baltimore on Sunday, including three fatal shootings that occurred within a span of about two blocks in Northwest Baltimore..

The shootings continued a recent wave of violence. The 10 shootings were the second such occurrence in four days, after 10 people were also shot Thursday.

Classic Media Obfuscation – You won’t see it reported in the msm, but the Newark Knights are a black bike club. Considering the approach of Black Bike Week in South Carolina (Myrtle Beach, Memorial Day Weekend), this is unmistakably a precursor for what is to come.
New Jersey – A teenager has reportedly been killed and three others have been gunned down during a Mother’s Day motorcycle event.
The boy, who is said to be 16, was reportedly hit in the head by shots fired in the air while attending the Mother’s Day Bike Blessing in Newark, New Jersey.
Witnesses on social media described how EMTs gave the victim CPR in front of the horrified crowd. Some people were recording motorcyclists recording wheelies when they heard the shots go off. According to NJ.com homicide detectives are at the scene while police have closed off surrounding blocks.
The other victims were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No details on the shooters and the motive are known. It is the 29th homicide in Newark this year. (read more)

Any conversation questioning whether Marilyn Mosby might be concerned about the appearance of impropriety can be put to rest.
Last night State Attorney Marilyn Mosby, the prosecutor in case against Baltimore six police officers, along with her husband Councilman Nick Mosby, not only appeared on stage, in front of thousands during a “Justice For Freddie Gray” concert by Prince, but also sat on stage -as a guest of honor- during the entire concert.

#Prince just brought out Marilyn and Nick Mosby out during #Baltimore song. They are sitting on a couch on stage #FreddieGray

Baltimore – […] The audience spanned a wide range of ages and backgrounds, much like Prince’s fanbase. Many were surprised to see Baltimore’s State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby invited on stage shortly after Prince began to perform around 9 p.m. A spokeswoman for Mosby — an avid Prince fan — said late Sunday the tickets were a Mother’s Day gift from her husband, Councilman Nick Mosby. Marilyn Mosby asserted in her probable cause statement the Medical Examiner conclusion that Freddie Gray’s “fatal injury” occurred “inside the Baltimore Police transport van”. An assertion also evident today in a New York Times report:
[…] The medical examiner has concluded that Mr. Gray’s fatal neck injury occurred in the van, according to a person with knowledge of the investigation (link)

Numerous national network broadcasts have focused on the transport van, including some networks doing re-enactments based on similar transport vans. However, what each media outlet has missed, is the factual layout of the specific van used in the 4/12/15 event.
We recently re-focused attention on this aspect when it was noted the transport is actually a 3 compartment van, NOT a two compartment van that most of the media focuses upon.
