Today in Atlanta 435 members of the Democrat National Committee will meet to vote on the next Chairperson for the DNC.  The two top candidates are Representative Keith Ellison and former Labor Secretary Tom Perez.  Watch Live Voting Here

**UPDATE** Tom Perez wins !!!

The DNC Party Machine has won again.  Keith Ellison has been defeated by Tom Perez for DNC Chairman.  After a day of shenanigans, electronic voting dropped in preference of paper ballots and back-room deals, the professional party apparatus has crushed the pesky insurgents.
As a consolation to the activists, after victory Chairman Perez asked for a suspension of the rules and voice nominated Keith Ellison for Deputy Chair.  The DNC voted affirmatively in that regard.   Tom Perez is Chairman and Keith Ellison is Deputy Chair.

Yeah, there’s a lot of political stuff swirling the various news feeds.  However, it’s worth watching the CNN debate tonight between Tom Perez and Keith Ellison for DNC Chairmanship.  The actual DNC voting will take place on Saturday February 25th.
The long term future of the Democrat party is being fought amid two distinct constituencies.  The establishment wing of the Democrat Party, represented by Perez; and the more insurgent wing of the party apparatus represented by Ellison.

While there is a considerable amount of cross-over between the two ideological camps, essentially the direction the Democrat party will take in the 2018 mid-term election is the most visible issue.  Political junkies will be able to identify what direction is chosen by seeing which candidate the DNC selects for Chair. Many people are noticing a rather familiar, albeit oddly timed, leftist “anti-Semitism” narrative being pushed into the media broadcasts over the past 36 hours.   Yes, it seems to have come out of nowhere.  Why?  No one is really understanding what’s going on.
Understandably, the right side of the political continuum are referencing the media push from the position of their own camp; that makes them defensive.  However, the actual motive of the professional corporate media to push this meme has nothing to do with President Trump or republicans – it’s an internal maneuver and transparently Clintonian.

Team Clinton, meaning the professionally political elements of the Democrat machinery, are pushing the anti-Semitism storylines because the party is in the final stages of framing their argument to ensure their preferred DNC head, Tom Perez, wins as party chair.

The Democratic National Committee votes this week for its next leader. The winner of the DNC chair race will very likely reflect whether the committee’s voting members think it prudent to align their party with the Hillary Clinton-Barack Obama camp, the Bernie Sanders camp — or neither.  ~NPR

Pushing odd, vague, disingenuous and sparsely connected stories about anti-Semitic news, is the way Team Clinton undermine Perez’s opponent, Keith Ellison.

CNN has continued to lead the way in manufactured news cycles through the past two years.  However, last night on Don Lemon’s show they took fake news broadcasting to new levels of ridiculousness.
During a segment with Robert Reich, Don Lemon and Reich promoted a conspiracy theory that Milo Yiannopoulous actually manufactured the Berkeley protests in an effort to shut down his own speech:

Robert Reich […] Don, and I want to be very, very clear. I was there for part of last night, and I know what I saw. And those people were not Berkeley students. Those were outsiders, agitators. I’ve never seen them before. There’s rumors that they actually were right-wingers, they were part of a kind of a group that were organized and were ready to create the kind of tumult and danger you saw that forced the police to cancel the event.

Today at 2:15pm EDT President Obama is holding a year-end press conference.  Immediately following the press conference Obama will head off to Hawaii for his traditional Christmas/New Year family vacation.

The Example: The Michigan Democrat Primary was held on March 8th 2016.
WikiLeaks most recent releases show in the last week of February and first week of March 2016 the U.S. Media was doing all they could to aid the Clinton Campaign.  -It’s all out in the open now-  Talking points were distributed by the campaign and pushed heavily by the pro-Clinton media water-carriers, including media polling organizations….

• Monmouth (Patrick Murray) Poll March 7th had Clinton up by 13 points.
• ARG Poll March 6th had Clinton up by 24 points.
• Fox Poll March 7th had Clinton up by 27 points.

Bernie Sanders Won by 1.5 Points.

 

During a Fox and Friends weekend morning segment the discussion centered around candidate Hillary Clinton’s remarks ridiculing, and essentially belittling, the supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders in the primary.

Keeping up with his ‘man of the people image‘ Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has purchased this third house, a $600,000 lakefront vacation chalet in Champlain Islands.

Part of the traditional campaign negotiations between various camps is the willingness of the endorsed candidate to absorb the campaign debt of the endorser.  The tighter the race, the more value is assigned to it.  Subsequently, it shouldn’t necessarily come as a surprise to see Sanders financially benefiting from his endorsement of Hillary Clinton.   How else does a Senator afford three homes on a congressional salary.
