The BLM movement has been well documented to include some of the most anti-social, hate-filled elements of the Occupy crowd; only BLM one comes with specific violence toward police and law enforcement.
(TPM) – Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) called on Americans to focus on racial justice and expressed her support for the Black Lives Matter movement in a Sunday speech at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate in Boston.
Warren referenced the late Sen. Ted Kennedy’s (D-MA) focus on civil rights issues and said, “If his life and death had a meaning, it was that we should not hate but love one another; we should use our powers not to create conditions of oppression that lead to violence, but conditions of freedom that lead to peace.”
She said that since the Civil Rights Act, the United States has not come close enough to equality.
“Fifty years later, we have made real progress toward creating the conditions of freedom — but we have not made enough progress,” she said, according to her prepared remarks. (more…)

Here’s the basic storyline:

[Kentucky State Trooper]  Joseph Cameron Ponder, who was 31 and had been on the force less than a year, was conducting a traffic stop Sunday night around 10:20 p.m. on Interstate 24 when the driver fled, Kentucky State Police said in a news release.

A chase ensued with the suspect stopping abruptly, causing the trooper’s vehicle to “make contact” with the rear of the suspect’s vehicle, the news release said.

The driver then fired several shots into Ponder’s police cruiser, hitting him several times. Ponder was taken to a hospital, where he died shortly before midnight, the release said. (more…)

Yes, THAT Deray McKesson…

(Via Campus Reform) Deray McKesson, one of the most vocal leaders of the #BlackLivesMatter movement, will be teaching a one credit course at Yale Divinity School this fall as a guest lecturer.
McKesson, whom the university describes as a “civil rights activist and social media leader” will teach a course titled “Transformational Leadership in the #BlackLivesMatter Movement,” as part of Yale Divinity School’s “ Transformational Leadership for Church and Society” program.
“A young leader of the Black Lives Matter Movement,” a syllabus for the course reads, “DeRay McKesson will present case studies about the work of organizing, public advocacy, civil disobedience, and social change, through both Leadership of Presence, and Leadership in the Social Media.” (more…)

Martin O’Malley was the Mayor of Baltimore from 1999 – 2007.  State Attorney Marilyn Mosby said in an interview this weekend the current explosive murder rate within Baltimore is his fault.
(Via Breitbart)  […]  During the taping of the local show “Square Off,” Maryland Shock Trauma physician-in-chief Dr. Thomas Scalea said the worsening violence in the city “seems temporally related to the riots.”
But Mosby completely disagreed with that assessment. “I think the violence was already going up. When you look at January, it was already like 28 murders,” she said.
Mosby claimed that O’Malley’s “zero tolerance” policies led to a climate of mistrust between residents and the police force and despite that O’Malley hasn’t headed the city for eight years, those sour feelings have somehow fueled the city’s violence this year. (more…)

About three years ago, Shannon J. Miles was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after fighting a man at an Austin homeless shelter over the television remote control, said Joe Frederick, a prosecutor in Travis County, Texas.

Miles kicked and punched the victim, injuring his face, back and head, Frederick said. The deadly weapon used in the assault was his hands. (more…)

DETROIT –A man was shot and killed while waiting in a car with his two children in the back seat at a gas station on Detroit’s east side Saturday night, according to police.
The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday at a gas station on the corner of East Vernor Highway and Mount Elliott Street.

The man was waiting in the car with his two young children while his girlfriend was inside the gas station.
Detroit police said the victim was reaching into the back seat taking care of his kids when he was shot through an open window. About a half-dozen shots were fired into the van. Detroit police said the man had no time to react. (more…)

VIRGINIA […]  when police entered his third-floor apartment on Wednesday, they reportedly found a Spartan living space supplemented by a small computer desk, leather couch, lots of candles and tea lights and plenty of pictures of Flanagan, according to the Daily Mirror.
At least nine photos taken throughout his career adorned Flanagan’s fridge with another publicity shot taped to a wall beside it.
The self-obsessed killer was apparently planning to get away with his murder of Alison Parker, 24, and Adam Ward, 27. Cops who searched Flanagan’s car found a Glock pistol with multiple magazines and ammunition, a white iPhone, letters, notes, a to-do list and a briefcase that contained three license plates, a wig, shawl, umbrella, sunglasses and black hat, according to the Associated Press. Flanagan never got to use any of the disguises, as cops tracked him down on I-66 around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday and Flanagan shot himself. He later died of the injury. (more…)

A former TV news reporter fatally shot two ex-colleagues this morning during a live broadcast in Roanoke Virginia.  Then he posted his own recorded videos of the killings on social media.  It is reported he faxed a 23 page manifesto to ABC News, claiming his intent was racially motivated – inspired by Black Lives Matter propaganda.

“Why did I do it? I put down a deposit for a gun on 6/19/15. The Church shooting in Charleston happened on 6/17/15 ” […]  “What sent me over the top was the church shooting. And my hollow point bullets have the victims’ initials on them.”
It is unclear whose initials he is referring to.  He continues, “As for Dylann Roof? You (deleted)! You want a race war (deleted)? BRING IT THEN YOU WHITE …(deleted)!!!” He said Jehovah spoke to him, telling him to act. (Link)

Vester Lee Flanagan II, aka Bryce Williams, (pictured left) fatally shot himself after a five-hour manhunt, he was pronounced dead at 1:26 p.m.
Flanagan ranted about the victims on Twitter prior to the shooting, and uploaded a video of the shooting while on the run. He accused the victims — reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27 — of racial prejudice, alluding to complaints filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the station’s human resources department. (Via Breitbart)  An investigative blogger has accused Shaun King, a key figure in the Black Lives Matter movement, of misleading media icon Oprah Winfrey by pretending to be biracial in order to qualify for an “Oprah scholarship” to historically black Morehouse College. The blogger says King is white and has been lying about his ethnicity for years.
King is a high-profile campaigner against “police brutality” and “justice correspondent” for the liberal Daily Kos website who told Rebel magazine in 2012 that he was biracial, with the magazine reporting that he is the “son of a Caucasian mother and an African-American father.” He has also described himself as “mixed with a black family” on Twitter.
King has been lionised by the press, praised as hero of civil rights and social activism. He has written extensively about a childhood in which he was terrorised by “decades old racial tensions.” He claims to have been “the focus of constant abuse of the resident rednecks of my school.” (more…)

CALIFORNIA – […]  At a news conference announcing murder charges against Jose Villagomez and undocumented immigrant Victor Martinez, Santa Maria Police Chief Ralph Martin decried two state laws and also national immigration policy he says have handcuffed local law enforcement.

“I think this is a national issue,” said Chief Martin. “I think it starts in Washington D.C. with this administration that we see and their policies. I think you can draw a direct line over to Sacramento with the policies of… I’m going to say this governor and the legislature.”
