Waco “Twin Peaks” Shooting Update – Police: “releasing video would compromise our investigation”…

Waco Police refuse to provide public any information about the Twin Peaks shooting citing, in general, “ongoing investigation”.  Video, autopsies, forensic and ballistic information will likely be withheld until the trials of the arrested, perhaps several years away.

Waco Shooting

(Excerpts Via Waco Tribune) One month after the deadly May 17 shootout at Twin Peaks prompted the unprecedented mass arrests of 177 bikers, officials are releasing limited information and say disclosure of certain evidence, including videos of the incident, would compromise their investigation.

[…] Residents have called for police to release all videos of the shooting to the public in order to clear up conflicting tales about the events that transpired before and during the bloody melee. Waco police have declined, citing concerns that doing so would adversely affect their investigation.

Local officials sent the videos to the FBI for analysis. Swanton said the videos include images from at least one squad car dash camera, Twin Peaks restaurant surveillance cameras and a surveillance camera from the neighboring Don Carlos Mexican restaurant.

Baltimore Police Chief Batts: More officers likely to be arrested, forced out as result of reforms…

Setting aside the profoundly poor timing of penning an op-ed for Fathers day publication, which contains predictions he will soon be arresting more cops who are also likely fathers, husbands, dads and brothers, Police Chief Batts breaks the absolute cardinal rule of principle-centered leadership:

♦  When you are a leader of significant influence – never, ever, never, punch down with your admonishments.  Fight those above you, on behalf of those behind you; never vice-versa.

All failed leaders of large complex organizations generally collapse because when the pressure gets too extreme they violate basic tenets of principle-centered leadership.  Loyalty is lost, and you weaken your own ability to influence positive outcomes.  Pointing to the past, or the boss, might garner you sympathy – but it will never generate respect.

baltimore 5(Baltimore Sun) More Baltimore police officers likely face arrest as the result of reforms in a scandal-ridden department that requires “wholesale change,” Commissioner Anthony W. Batts wrote in a wide-ranging opinion piece published in The Baltimore Sun..

“Our reform efforts will very likely see more police officers arrested,” Batts wrote. “We will have more officers who are forced out because their outdated, outmoded views of policing do not match the standards the community expects and demands.”

The piece was published Friday on The Sun’s website and appears in Sunday’s print editions. (more…)

Louisville Kentucky Police Respond To Attacks Against Policing – Flag Pole Attack – Open Letter To Public…

Earlier this week the professionally aggrieved began a campaign against the Louisville Kentucky police department after a deranged man attacked a police officer with a flag pole, and was shot and killed.

The Louisville Kentucky police have had enough.  They pen an open letter to the public:

Charges Filed In Ohio Swimming Pool Incident – Disorderly Conduct And Resisting Arrest…

Cincinnati Ohio – Videos showing a chaotic scene between guests and police last week at the Fairfield Aquatic Center continue to fuel debate over what happened before and during the confrontation that led to four arrests and allegations of officers exhibiting excessive use of force. (Original report video below)

Police arrested two adults — Krystal Dixon and Maya Dixon — and two children on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a large fight June 9 at the city-owned pool on Augusta Boulevard. They said the four refused to leave.

Attorney Clyde Bennett, who represented both women at their arraignment Wednesday, said his clients did nothing wrong and that charges against them should be dismissed.

Both women have faced charges of disorderly conduct and/or resisting arrest in other courts, according to records obtained by the Journal-News. (more…)

Charleston Mother Emanuel AME Church Shooting – Discussion Thread…

A man walks into a church and shoots nine people dead; that’s terrorism regardless of race.  If the shooting was based on race, then it’s a racist hate crime and terrorism, period.

The number one objective of everyone in law enforcement should be to catch the mass murder suspect and bring him to trial.  As currently described that suspect is: “A 21-year-old, white male, with sandy blonde hair, clean shaven, wearing Timberland boots, jeans and a grey hoodie“.  Every resource should be deployed to catch that criminal.

“Every resource” includes the principle that this horrific crime should be treated with the same intensity as the Boston Marathon bombing.   Every resource in the arsenal of local, state and federal law enforcement should be immediately dispatched to catch this person, period.

Unfortunately, this horrible event will focus attention in many divergent directions based solely on the current environment permeating the national dialogue; and as a consequence of manipulative activists who relish anxiety to advance their various causes.

For those who have intensely followed the evolution of that manipulation for the past several years, the brutal event in Charleston carries a set of additional aspects which ring immediate alarm bells.   Taken individually none of the aspects seem too controversial; however, when you put them together something else begins to assemble.

Crowdrise and GoFundMe Donation Sites Deny Use for Officer Casebolt – Permit Use By Swimming Pool Activist Marvin Bakari…

We reported several days ago that Marvin Bakari was fundraising off the controversy at the McKinney “Craig Ranch” pool fiasco.  Marvin Bakari is the uncle of Dajerria Becton (15) and the father of Jahda Bakari (13), the “DimePieceCookout” girls.

The crowd funding site that Bakari chose to raise money for his racial grievances was/is “CrowdRise.Com“.  Bakari set up the donation fund, then quickly shut it down when we exposed the real motive of both his efforts and the party itself.  However, CrowdRise.Com did not block Bakari from using it, he cancelled it himself.
