The old timers said that a dry, chill wind was blowing out of the northwest, right from the heart of the Commancheria, that dawn of March 6, 1836. It ripped the palls of black smoke billowing from the old Alamo mission into ragged tendrils and hurled them away, as if trying to clear the air of the sickly sweet smell of burning flesh and the acrid stench of gunpowder. By the time the sun broke above the horizon and cast a golden light over the old mission-turned-fortress, gunshots still sporadically rent the air, but the main sound was that of an enraged mob. Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock: Connecticut Navy Vet Gun Owner Confronts Lawmakers (Video)

There is a storm cloud looming on the horizon – Shades Of Waco TX.

( Via BLAZE )Now that tens of thousands of gun owners in Connecticut are in direct violation of a hastily-passed gun control law, a video of a fed-up Navy veteran warning lawmakers that he “will not comply” with the law is just going viral.

As previously reported by TheBlaze, as many as 100,000 gun owners technically became felons overnight because they chose not to register their semi-automatic rifles and/or high-capacity magazines.

A man, identified as John S. Cinque, reportedly appeared at a public meeting in North Haven, Conn., on April 22, 2013, to confront lawmakers over the gun control law.

Cinque started by asking if the bill would have done anything to prevent the tragic Sandy Hook shooting. Eventually, Connecticut State Rep. David Yaccarino (R) replied, “maybe not.”  (read more)

Will Connecticut Be The Soil of A Thousand Waco’s ? Looming Clouds Of Gun Enforcement Building…..

We’ve noticed several independent minded blogs beginning to pose the ultimate question around full-scale legislated gun confiscations in Connecticut.  (Links follow Summary Article)

(The Courant)  Everyone knew there would be some gun owners flouting the law that legislators hurriedly passed last April, requiring residents to register all military-style rifles with state police by Dec. 31.

But few thought the figures would be this bad.

By the end of 2013, state police had received 47,916 applications for assault weapons certificates, Lt. Paul Vance said. An additional 2,100 that were incomplete could still come in.

That 50,000 figure could be as little as 15 percent of the rifles classified as assault weapons owned by Connecticut residents, according to estimates by people in the industry, including the Newtown-based National Shooting Sports Foundation. No one has anything close to definitive figures, but the most conservative estimates place the number of unregistered assault weapons well above 50,000, and perhaps as high as 350,000.

Sewer Dwelling: Obot Acolytes reach new lows in Cultural Marxism; Demonize US military & exalt Muslims

Note:  the following is an opinion piece, protected under the rights afforded by the First Amendment to the US Constitution.  Offended Obot trolls will not be let out of the basement to “comment”.  That is all.

Just when you thought the domestic battle for “hearts and minds” couldn’t get any more perverse, in steps “helper Monkey” Hollywood to drag us down into the sewer, reaching a new low in cultural marxism.

Dragging us down into the sewer, where the Cultural Marxists Trolls dwell..... Ewwwww.
Dragging us down into the sewer, where the Cultural Marxists Trolls dwell….. Ewwwww.

There has been an ongoing psyops war waged by the Obama Administration and its sycophants against the U.S. military.

Traditionally, the U.S. military has always enjoyed high approval ratings from the American public at large – they support the military in funding; in its non-combat humanitarian missions as diplomatic outreach (such as the US Navy Hospital Ships, USNS Comfort and USNS Mercy); and are, for the most part, proud of the work that the US military does in defending freedom and the highest ideals of “America” –

individual liberty, peace, free trade, domestic stability among the many hallmarks of the “shining city on the hill”.  In very few other countries, do so many citizens have direct experience – having served, themselves – or a first degree relative connection to someone who has served in the armed forces. Trayvon Martin’s Father: Americans Care More About Guns Than Children – Whoopsie… That’s Odd, Because Trayvons’ Father Was Texting Him About Guns Just Days Before Trayvon Was Shot…

Trayvon Martin’s father, Tracy, appeared on MSNBC yesterday to talk about the second anniversary of Trayvon’s death.   Tracy Martin discussed America’s obsession with guns.

However, as with all things from Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton the TRUTH is 180 degrees divergent.

Apparently Tracy Martin was all for Trayvon having a gun, until after Trayvon was killed and then he changed his position.    You see, he was all for teens with guns, before he was against them. (more…)

The New York Gun Stasi – Putnam County officer owned unregistered guns

Germanys former Ministry of State Security –  “Stasi”:  One of Stasi’s main tasks was spying on the population, mainly through a vast network of citizens turned informants.

How does pre-1990’s East German “Stasi” apply to modern 2014 New York ?   The answer is within the following article:

HandgunYORKTOWN — A Putnam County special patrol officer resigned from his position Friday, one day after being accused of illegally possessing weapons, authorities said.

Steven P. Zagorski, a former Putnam Valley police officer who worked as a Putnam County Sheriff’s deputy before retiring in 2004, was arrested by Yorktown police about 5:45 p.m. Thursday after a search of his home yielded several unregistered guns, Yorktown police said.

Zagorski, who has more than 30 years in law enforcement, had most recently been working as a special patrol officer assigned to the Putnam County Board of Elections in Carmel, officials said. Putnam County Sheriff’s Capt. William McNamara said Zagorski’s resignation was accepted.

McNamara said his office began investigating Zagorski last month after receiving information that the 66-year-old illegally owned several guns.

Dramatic Footage Of Police Shooting With Eerie Similarities To Zimmerman Events – Shooting Justified By Grand Jury – Injuries Similar To George Zimmerman….

Information provided from both Legal Insurrection and Kansas City Star:

(Legal Insurrection) The parallels to the Zimmerman defensive shooting are striking, including the fact that the attacker was unarmed, the relative positions of the attacker and the defender, the beating of the defender’s head against a concrete sidewalk threatening loss of consciousness, the failure of observers to provide assistance, and the relative lack of injuries to the attacker other than the bullet wound inflicted in self-defense.

Kansas City Star – […] “He then somehow flipped me over onto my back and the subject began punching me on the left side of my face and head,” Hubbard told detectives. “He was on top of me and I was in an extremely vulnerable position and I was exhausted from the struggle with the suspect.

“I don’t know how many times he struck me, but I started to black out and saw lines across my eyes. He continued to strike me and I started to lose consciousness and I believed the suspect was not going to stop hitting me until he killed me. (more…)

USA Today Catching Up? – Americans rising up against government

USA TODAY – America’s ruling class has been experiencing more pushback than usual lately. It just might be a harbinger of things to come.

912-teaparty-dc-09First, in response to widespread protests last week, the Department of Homeland Security canceled plans to build a nationwide license plate database. Many local police departments already use license-plate readers that track every car as it passes traffic signals or pole-mounted cameras. Specially equipped police cars even track cars parked on the street or even in driveways.

The DHS put out a bid request for a system that would have gone national, letting the federal government track millions of people’s comings and goings just as it tracks data about every phone call we make. But the proposal was suddenly withdrawn last week, with the unconvincing explanation that it was all a mistake. I’m inclined to agree with TechDirt’s Tim Cushing, who wrote: “The most plausible explanation is that someone up top at the DHS or ICE suddenly realized that publicly calling for bids on a nationwide surveillance system while nationwide surveillance systems are being hotly debated was … a horrible idea.” (more…)

Good Riddance To Bad Rubbish – CNN Confirms America Hates Piers Morgan…

(Politico) – CNN President Jeff Zucker has decided to bring an end to Piers Morgan’s low-rated primetime show, network sources told POLITICO on Sunday. “Piers Morgan Live” could end as early as next month, though Morgan may stay with the network in another role.

Morgan, a former British tabloid editor, replaced Larry King in the 9 p.m. hour three years ago, prior to Zucker’s tenure as president. His show earned consistently low ratings, registering as few as 50,000 viewers in the 25-to-54 year-old demographic earlier this week.

“CNN confirms that Piers Morgan Live is ending,” Allison Gollust, head of CNN communications, told POLITICO on Sunday after an earlier version of this post was published. (more…)

Austin Police Chief Apologizes For His Comments About Arresting J-Walking Jogger: Hey, I’m Just Thankful We Didn’t Rape Her…

In Austin Texas a woman was jogging.  Police claim she J-walked while jogging so they forcibly stopped her, handcuffed her and demanded id.

She did not have id in her skimpy jogging outfit, so they arrested her for “failure to identify”.

The Texas cops put her in a police car, took her to jail, booked her, mug shot, finger-prints etc., for J-walking and jogging without identification.

A guy across the street saw the whole thing and thought it was ridiculous.  He recorded the incident and took pictures.

Then the general public began using social media to express their outrage.

Unfazed by the action of his police officers, and profoundly unapologetic, the Austin Police Chief, Art Acevedo, told the media the jogger should be grateful the Austin Police Dept didn’t rape her.
