ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A suspect in the fatal shooting of an Orlando police officer was captured Tuesday after a week-long manhunt, authorities said.
The Orlando Police Department tweeted Tuesday night that 41-year-old Markeith Loyd was in custody, ending a manhunt that began with the Jan. 9 fatal shooting of Lt. Debra Clayton outside a Wal-Mart store.
Local television stations showed Loyd had a bloodied face when a half-dozen officers and deputies took him into police headquarters.
Orlando Police Chief John Mina tweeted, “Captured and wearing Lt. Debra Clayton’s handcuffs.” (more…)

Last Thursday an Arizona Highway Patrol officer was ambush attacked near Phoenix. – A passing motorist stopped to assist the officer eventually shooting and killing the attacker as he was slamming the officer’s head into the pavement.  Today it is revealed the attacker was an illegal alien.
MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) –The Department of Public Safety on Monday identified the man who shot and wounded a trooper near Tonopah last week and confirmed that he was in the country illegally.
Leonard Penuelas-Escobar, 37, “is a known drug user but has no criminal history that we can find,” Col. Frank Milstead, the director of DPS, said during a news conference.
“We showed that he attempted to cross the border on one occasion and was turned back,” Milstead said. “We also have information that leads us to believe that in 2007 he was actually a federal police officer for the Mexican Police.”  (read more)

Here’s a great example of how the media will get a story wrong 100 times, before they realize the reason they’re getting it wrong is due to the inherent political-ideological filters they use within every presentation.
Against a horrific year in Chicago for shootings and murders President-Elect Donald Trump sends out the following tweet:

Without thinking, and relying on their traditional filtering prism, immediately the media transmit a narrative of President-elect Donald Trump challenging (attacking) Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.   The MSM proceed to present their narrative accordingly.
However, the continually short-sighted media never pause to remind themselves that Emanuel traveled to Trump Tower less than a month ago; and consider the pragmatic effective approaches deployed by Donald Trump throughout his career.

♦ Ted Cruz meeting with Donald Trump is also quite predictable. BIG PICTURE = Trump’s immigration policy -as it is carried out- will clearly push “birthright citizenship” (aka “anchor babies”, aka 14th amendment definition) into the federal courts and will be fast-tracked, ultimately ending up in SCOTUS.
While we do not have any ‘insider’ information, it is more likely Cruz is viewed as a Scalia replacement candidate, not Attorney General.  Ted Cruz’s specific argumentative skill-set more apt to a long-term SCOTUS benefit.  When combined with the Trump policy toward immigration, ie. law and order, the importance of determination/interpretation of the 14th Amendment is key to enforcement.  This is unsettled law.  This is a legacy issue.

We have been trying to warn everyone what will happen when a particular inflection point is reached. There are trillions of dollars at stake. Trillions.
Every internet platform will be utilized, manipulated, controlled by the oppositional forces -massive multi-billion corporate entities and financial conglomerates- who have a vested self-interest (financial and ideological) in the outcome of the U.S. election.

When the existential threat called Donald Trump says: “the system is rigged”, he, nor we, are simply talking about the political constructs – we’re describing every institution from Hollywood and Silicon Valley, to Madison Avenue and Park Row, to Wall Street and K-Street, to every single institutional construct inside and outside of DC that gains benefit from the cancerous lesion that infects politics.
The scope of the corruption is massive.
The scope of the “rigged system” is almost beyond definition.

A few days ago we were relating an analogy of Boston circa 1774 to the current political insurgency movement supported by candidate Donald Trump.  At the time of that writing we certainly did not expect to see evidence so quickly of support for such a framework.
Yet, here we are.

A stunning moment occurs outside a building in New York City belonging to, and representative of, a single political force that strikes fear into the well constructed political corruption surrounding our modern body politic.
Yes, here they are, assembled – and no one had to call them together.  The authentic Modern Sons and Daughters of Liberty, in all their deplorable, vulgarian and oh-so-American glory just knew what to do.
Quite remarkable.  Completely authentic.
It is almost as if the voices of our liberty founding were calling us back to assemble outside a Boston tavern…

(Via CNN Money) The U.S. Department of Labor filed a lawsuit Monday against Palantir, a data software startup said to be valued at more than $20 billion, for allegedly being biased against hiring Asian candidates.

The secretive startup was cofounded by Peter Thiel, an investor and Facebook board member who has emerged as perhaps the most prominent Donald Trump supporter in the tech industry. Thiel is also known for backing lawsuits against Gawker Media, which forced the company to sell itself.

Police released information earlier today that Keith Scott’s fingerprints and DNA were on the hand gun, seen in eye witness reports and retrieved from the shooting.  This news apparently spurred the family of Keith Scott to attempt recovery of their narrative.

CHARLOTTE — The family of Keith Lamont Scott has released what it says is cell phone video, recorded by his wife, that shows the moments leading up to his fatal shooting by police Tuesday.

“Don’t shoot him. He has no weapon,” the woman recording can be heard saying. “He doesn’t have a gun. He has a TBI. He’s not going to do anything to you guys. He just took his medicine.”

She goes on to say: “Keith, don’t let them break the windows; come on out the car. Keith! Don’t do it. Keith, get out the car. Keith! Keith, don’t you do it. Don’t you do it. Keith! Keith! Keith!”. (read more)

However, beyond the drama and emotional content, the Scott family video release actually appears to confirm the earlier photographic release from an eye witness that a gun is on the ground near the feet of Keith Lamont Scott after he was shot by police:

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – Police are hoping someone can help identify two home invaders. They were caught on camera as a woman in the house shot at them. “She exercised her right to defend her livelihood and property,” Cpl. Deon Washington with the Gwinnett County Police Department told Channel 2’s Nicole Carr.

Surveillance video from inside the home shows the Gwinnett County woman rush from her bedroom and then unloads all her bullets on the three men who kicked in her front door.

According to a story in The Christian Times, who they claim verified with The Charlotte Observer, Keith Lamont Scott had a two decades long history of gun violence, including an arrest/conviction for shooting at police officers in Texas.   The New York Times has previously reported on his troubled past but not the 2005 shooting at police incident:

(Via NYT) […] According to court records, Mr. Scott was born in South Carolina, was about six feet tall and weighed 230 to 250 pounds. While living in South Carolina in the 1990s, he was charged with a number of offenses including check fraud, aggravated assault and carrying a concealed weapon. Later, he moved to Texas where he shot and wounded a man in San Antonio in 2002, for which he was convicted and sentenced, in 2005, to seven years in prison. He was released in 2011. (link)

The Charlotte Observer also reported on Scott’s extensive criminal career –SEE HERE– and we did independently identify a criminal record in Texas – SEE HERE – which aligns with all of these reports.

(Via Christian Times) Keith Scott had a long police record that included gun violations. Christian Times Newspaper has learned, and it has been confirmed by the Charlotte Observer, that Scott was convicted in April 2004 of a misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon charge in Mecklenburg County, and other charges were dismissed: including felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault on a female, and communicating threats.  Scott was also charged with assault with intent to kill in 1995.  [ Texas Arrest Record Here ]
The most shocking find in Scott’s record, however, is what occurred in Bexar County, Texas in 2005.  In March of that year, Scott was sentenced to 15 months in state prison for evading arrest, and in July, he was consecutively sentenced to seven years on a conviction of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
