Gaslighting is a form of mental abuse in which false information is presented with the intent of making a victim doubt his or her own memory, perception, and sanity. Instances may range simply from the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents ever occurred, up to the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim.

The term “gaslighting” comes from the play Gas Light and its film adaptations. The term is now also used in clinical and research literature.

One of the best Afterburners (and that’s saying a lot) by Bill Whittle that I’ve ever watched.  It made me cry, and it makes me angry, and sad, for our country.  Basta!  I’ll leave it to you to decide for yourselves.

Students around the country have taken to Twitter to tweet to the world where they think the real “meanwiches and stinkburgers are” – on their lunch trays, thanks to Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” program.
Students have refused the retooled lunch meals, which have caused programs around the country to lose money and some children to go hungry, according to NY Daily News.

Stuff happens.  In this case, there is a consequence of the legalization of marijuana in several states, and legalization of medical marijuana in many more.  One consequence is that U.S. citizens are legally growing marijuana, and the price of marijuana is falling.  Sounds good, right?
