To prove the Netanyahu speech was political, the Democrats pull a political stunt and boycotted the speech. However, their ignorance doesn’t stop them from quickly joining in apoplectic fits to ridicule the delivery of the message.
Nancy Pelosi grabs her pearls, steadies her shaking sensibilities, and opines she was in tears, TEARS, as she listened to the outline of how dangerous it would be for Iran to gain nuclear weapon capability. Not tears of worry for Israel, but rather tears that Dear Leader Obama’s claim to the contrary is being undermined:
[…] That is why, as one who values the U.S. – Israel relationship, and loves Israel, I was near tears throughout the Prime Minister’s speech – saddened by the insult to the intelligence of the United States as part of the P5 +1 nations, and saddened by the condescension toward our knowledge of the threat posed by Iran and our broader commitment to preventing nuclear proliferation. Nancy Pelosi and the entire contingent of the Congressional Black Caucus ran out of the chamber as soon as Prime Minister Netanyahu was finished delivering his speech.
And there she goes – @NancyPelosi leaves House floor as Netanyahu is still saying goodbyes. She's not a happy camper.

Quickly to the microphones….. quick, hurry:
As fully anticipated, the Democrat coalition of left-wing ideologues ran to the loving arms of their water-carrying media cohorts.
MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was quick to claim Netanyahu and Speaker Boehner were attempting a political coup d’état in a Republican/Israeli conspiracy to overthrow the Obama government:
[…] Think it through. What country in the world would let a foreign leader come in and attempt to wrest from the president control of U.S. foreign policy. And that’s what the applause was about today. That was what the battle of applauses was about, to take power away from the president.
So we’ll see, it may succeed and we may see that there’s going to be a lot more legislative intent here in terms of any treaty, a stronger push by Congress to insist on a vote, up or down on any treaty. But clearly that was what was going on here. This was a takeover attempt by Netanyahu with his compliant American partners to take American foreign policy out of the hands of the president. (link)
Oh, the humanity !!
If ONLY.
CNN was aghast, shocked… SHOCKED… that Netanyahu would dare discuss the Holocaust and the threats to the Jewish state.
According to CNN’s Gloria Borger, it was a “political” moment when Israel prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu brought up the Holocaust in his speech today to Congress:
“At the end of it, when I think he really veered off into political territory, don’t know if it was on a delay at that point, but when he sort of raised the specter of the Holocaust and ‘Never again’ and Elie Wiesel–there was this great — Ari Fleischer could have done this great political speech,” Borger said. Oh My God – How Dare He ! …. because we all know the Holocaust was a purely political stunt carried out by those pesky Nazi’s, or something.
However, all is not lost…. Because in the region where it really matters, in the Middle East, there is a remarkable perspective surfacing around the optics of Benjamin Netanyahu fighting to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of Iran – while President Obama works diligently to provide them:
[…] “I will conclude by saying the following: Since Obama is the godfather of the prefabricated revolutions in the Arab world, and since he is the ally of political Islam, [which is] the caring mother of [all] the terrorist organizations, and since he is working to sign an agreement with Iran that will come at the expense of the U.S.’s longtime allies in the Gulf, I am very glad of Netanyahu’s firm stance and [his decision] to speak against the nuclear agreement at the American Congress despite the Obama administration’s anger and fury.
I believe that Netanyahu’s conduct will serve our interests, the people of the Gulf, much more than the foolish behavior of one of the worst American presidents. Do you agree with me?”
The American electorate might be filled with a number of fools who buy-in to the insufferable Hoax and Chains; but in the Mid-East, away from the terror nation states, they know full well the consequences.
