Some, well, actually eight Treepers want the research on Mark O’Mara to stop.  They include: Mwsomerset, bill, M4, Labrat, Stephaufla, ejarra, Sandy, raiikun, and CleaningMyGun specifically.  Four more apparently think it is a waste of  time, they include:  CiGuy, Chirality, Risefrombelow and Freedom Patriot.
So in essence that’s twelve people who think O’Mara is a solid attorney for George Zimmerman.   There are probably a few more unknown.  Fair enough.
Question:  Imagine we are at war.  We are on an aircraft carrier and we have been told we are headed to battle.   What good does it do for us to muster in the Combat Ops planning room preparing our plans for an island assault strategy when the captain of the ship is steaming forward in a different direction?
All the conversational planning in the world ain’t gonna help us when we arrive at a divergent destination than we anticipated.  That’s why it’s kinda important to know exactly who is steering the ship, where it is headed, and what to expect.  No?
To borrow a thought from Gretchen:   Some here are willingly blinded by the luminescence of a “very experienced and competent criminal trial lawyer” a constant refrain among those who defend Mark O’Mara.
Mark O’Mara’s manifold errors have been exposed and blogged about here, in detail I might add, yet do not seem to make an impression. One must not look at the growing mountain of FACTS, but must seek to fixate on one thing or another that bolsters a particular viewpoint, apparently.  (more)

Omar and Sibilj have provided some good food for thought regarding Mark O’Mara.   But before presenting their articulate comments for expansion I need to clarify a few things.
Some of you might see me use the term “prog” in many of my posts and comments.  Let me identify what I mean and position the backdrop for future understanding.  Truth has no agenda – People Do.
There is a keen, albeit difficult to grasp at times, distinction between advocacy and ideology.
I am open, wide open, to being an advocate for Mark O’Mara, but honesty, intellectual honesty, demands a substantive reason.  I have outlined twenty specific instances when my capacity to grant benefit of doubt, toward altruistic intention, has been stretched.
Simultaneously, by conviction, I must also be open to being more favorable to Trayvon Martin’s family position if presented with substantive, factual, and valid reasoning. (more…)

Question: I’ve been on the side of Zimmerman is Not Guilty etc ever since the evidence started showing up, next to none of it even *remotely* suggesting a crime, and all the circumstantial stuff that people claim make him guilty I know is so easy to explain in light of the facts…except for one.
The lack of GZ’s blood on Trayvon’s hands. I know breaking a nose wouldn’t put any blood there, bashing in his head, etc. I know it’s possible to give one hell of a beating and end up with no bruising or blood on your hands.
But putting your hands over someone’s nose and mouth after the nose is broken and bleeding…has it been answered somewhere how that blood didn’t get on Trayvon’s hands? (A mixed DNA profile on one sleeve *could* explain it but that seems thin). (more…)

Pulled from a comment provided by GZTheCourageous.  I am working my way through the myriad of considerations and doubt I will offer more than just surface response.   Lots to flesh out on this, and before anyone comments please think though the variety of issues, highly consequential issues, the considerations outlined in this email provide.  Our hand was forced because this communication was dropped into a discussion thread, and in a general sense, as presented, it carries no risk. 
It is innocuous enough to allow to stand, and obviously O’Mara thought it “safe” to exist.  But further expansion most certainly would present risk.   I just cannot find the words right now to explain so that everyone would understand.   The last thing O’Mara or Zimmerman need right now is the perception of advice from a “blog” (Please read between the lines on my statement, Thanks)  /Sundance

At the 2:45 mark they edited out where GZ says “okay” in response to the dispatch saying “okay we don’t need you to do that” which to my mind is a HUGE HUGE edit to do, and doesn’t buy enough time to justify it under a “oh we needed to keep the segment under a certain length” or anything. They excised that exact piece of audio. They cut it to sound like it was never there. Exactly as NBC did.   – Fathomable

The many inconsistencies from Tracy Martin, Trayvon’s dad, regarding the night Trayvon was shot have been puzzling for many, myself included.   Previous puzzling false claims include:

• What time Trayvon left home  (multiple accounts)
• What time he and Brandi arrived home  (at least 3 different versions)
• Where he/Brandi were on the night Trayvon was shot (2 versions)
• Where he thought Trayvon was, and why he didn’t look for him (2 versions)
• The whole “Trayvon” sitting on the porch story (told twice)
• Telling police during the missing person report that he saw Trayvon at 8:00 to 8:30pm on the night he was shot at 7:27pm
• Brandi Green “Step mom”, then “girl friend”, then just “friend” etc.  Now? nothing ((crickets)) she has vanished.  But she is still listed on Tracy’s facebook page as “in a relationship” with pic.
• Unwilling to give police Trayvon cell phone password until he talked to Ben Crump attorney

(private info redacted)  Here is a compliment to you, Treepers, from a web misfit just like us.  When you read person’s experience, ask yourself why has no-one, not one, zippo, zylch, nada, of any principled patriotic or conservative leaning major website taken up the story in defense of George Zimmerman.   Why?   What is it they fear?
Thank you for your hard work. I was fooled at first by the [media] edited tape making it sound like GZ was racist. What captivated me to the crime were the screams. Those screams demand attention, its instinct.
In the past, I’ve gone to crime forums because by reading both sides, I can figure out pretty close to the truth. Had been posting in the “Baby Lisa” case since I lived for 10 years in that area. Went to Wedsleuths, but this time, WS was closed.
I had seen JusticeQuest while trying to learn about Baby Lisa. I was registered both sites. Then, the photos of GZ’s injuries came out, and his doctor’s report. I felt angry and betrayed by MSM. (all those times Anderson Cooper told us GZ was mumbling F…….Coons) I am old, so I do think more critically than most. Been burnt too many times. (more…)

The associations highlighted explain how Tracy Martin, Trayvon’s dad, was put into contact with Benjamin Crump, the proverbial head of the “scheme team”, and along the way the cast of characters is quite interesting.
As well as one seeking political office in Miami-Dade.

Mr. Trayvon Martin was not the only person creating a well, shall we say, “colorful“, on-line and in-real-life social style. Indeed, the new age social media platform(s), in all their unintended varieties, provide an odd connectivity to even the most embarrassingly public of profiles.
