“This is a Fight for the Future of Freedom” – Sarah Palin addresses NRA-ILA forum, splodey heads everywhere

Wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with “Women Hunt” and quoting Shakespeare’s Henry V, Sarah Palin addressed the NRA-ILA forum in Houston, TX this week, opening her remarks with the bold statement:  “This is a Fight for the Future of Freedom”

As to be expected, Sarah Palin lives up to the expectation that she would throw out the red meat for the 2nd Amendment supporters.

She calls out the Corporate Media as the “poodle skirted cheerleader” for a “President who writes the book on exploiting tragedy”.

“Leaders who practice the politics of emotion”.

She moves on to address what she calls the “codependency of freedom and morality…”

“What can we do to nurture and support a people capable of living in freedom…”

Cue Prog splodey heads everywhere….

Jesse Jackson Writes Plea/Open Letter To L.A. Shooter Chris Dorner: “I understand your feelings of hurt, and your pain”… “I will do whatever I can for you without hesitation”…

Chris Doner

Imagine for just a moment what the media would do, or would have done, if, say, Sarah Palin or Rush Limbaugh had written an open letter of support to….. say,…  Eric Robert Rudolph, while he was on-the-run, professing an “understanding of his feelings of hurt and pain” ?

Seriously.    What do you think the media would have done with such a narrative?

Now,…. consider Jesse Jackson pens an open letter to L.A. Shooter Chris Dorner:

Dear Christopher Dorner,

I understand your feelings of hurt and pain. I make this plea to you to stop spreading the pain, the hurt, and the fear. Please stop. Don’t take any more lives.

Christopher, your mother is distraught and deeply concerned for your safety. There are many good and credible people in Los Angeles who will help you. Danny J. Bakewell Sr. (The Los Angeles Sentinel’s Executive Publisher/CEO) ,Bishop Noel Jones, Bishop Kenneth Ulmer and Rev. Charles Singleton are all individuals I know personally. Whoot – AWESOME NEWS: Nikki Haley Makes It Official, Tim Scott Next South Carolina Senator

Tim Scott is a good addition to the Senate.  He has a strong principled background and will be a great all around fiscal conservative.   Good News.

SOUTH CAROLINA – South Carolina Rep. Tim Scott, R-S.C., has been appointed by Republican Gov. Nikki Haley to the Senate seat now held by Republican Jim DeMint. DeMint is leaving the Senate at the end of the year to run the conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation.

“He is the right person,” she said. She pointed to his strong relationship with the business community and the “courage” he showed during a fight with the unions and the National Labor Relations Board during a recent effort to move Boeing factories to the state.

Scott will be the first African-American Republican in the Senate since former Sen. Edward Brooke, R-Mass., lost his bid for reelection in 1978. The 47-year-old, who won a second House term last month, was the first black Republican to represent South Carolina in the House in more than a century. (more…)

Messaging 101 – Learn from the master Lee Atwater

Many modern-day political followers would proclaim that no modern-era President or politician was ever as hated as George W Bush.

Against the backdrop of visible hate they might just be right.

However, against the ideology of defining hate level by the strength of the hater, more people still would attach the “most hated” label to Karl Rove.

Each contingent might just be right; it is, quite simply and historically, too early to tell.

However, I would argue the most hated, and subsequently most influential, man is actually the person who gave rise to both Karl Rove and George W Bush, Lee Atwater.

Lee Atwater was the mentor for Karl Rove, and subsequently under his tutelage “The architect” was born. Were it not for the messaging system of Karl Rove, learned at the knee of the master Atwater, few would doubt the 2004 electoral victory of Dubya.

But what made Lee Atwater so darned good is exactly what is needed right now.    It was Atwater who helped bring Ronald Reagan to victory against Jimmy Carter.   A look at Atwater’s messaging style could seriously benefit today’s patriots. (more…)

Solidarity – "Control is a Moral Evil"

We have pointed out for a while how similar the United States circa 2012 is to the considerations of the Polish people circa 1983.   Decision Time.
Two brave men memorialized in history yesterday with a new statue symbolizing freedom.
The Herald Sun reported:  POLISH officials have unveiled a statue of former President Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II, honouring two men widely credited in this Eastern European country with helping to topple communism 23 years ago.
The statue was unveiled in Gdansk, the birthplace of Lech Walesa’s Solidarity movement, in the presence of about 120 former Solidarity activists, many of whom were imprisoned in the 1980s for their roles in organising or taking part in strikes against the communist regime.
The bronze statue, erected in the lush seaside President Ronald Reagan Park, is a slightly larger-than-life rendering of the two late leaders.
It was inspired by an Associated Press photograph taken in 1987 on John Paul’s second pontifical visit to the US. (more…)

Arlen Specter: Enthralled By Sarah Palin's Sensuality And Exposed Knees…Pens Blatant "Kneerotica" – (Video)

What does a self-aggrandizing old RINO do after he’s been put out to pasture?  If you’re Arlen Specter, you launch an ill-advised comedy career loosely based on anecdotes about government dysfunction and Viagra jokes, then write a memoir titled,  “Life Among Cannibals”.  The problem with this new book is, it sounds less like the memories of a distinguished ex-senator, and more like the gross ramblings of a 12 year old boy.  (Why do the dull and boring ones always turn out to be the biggest freaks?)   (more…)

Sarah Palin: The Audacity Of Obama’s Intentions Revealed

Whoever chooses to merely dismiss the significance of today’s exchange between our President and Russia’s President should have their intelligence and patriotism questioned. Let this exchange be a warning to voters: President Obama will have “more flexibility” to weaken us if he’s re-elected in November. He was caught speaking candidly to Russian President Dmitri  Medvedev  before a “hot mic” today (and surely one must believe he didn’t know the mics were still on; surely he’s not so audacious as to purposefully broadcast his intentions), as reported by ABC’s Jake Tapper. Here’s the exchange:  (more…)

Sarah Palin's Moving Tribute: "Breitbart Is Here!"

There is a new street art poster that’s being emailed around and will no doubt eventually be spotted on a street corner near you. It’s a gritty black and white image of Andrew Breitbart looking both battle-worn and ever vigilant with the caption: “BREITBART IS HERE.”

Those three words express the instant connection many of us feel for our fallen friend. They express our identification with him, and our need to continue his fight for the good of our republic.  (more…)
