The progressive left loves to use visible victims as tools to push their ideological causes.   Perhaps in this instance, prior to jumping on the Gabby Giffords gun ban-wagon (aka “gun violence prevention”), the people of Newtown Connecticut could pause and remember a prior story from Cheshire, another town a little less than ten miles away.

Personally I would much like to see Dr. Petit in the “gun debate” and gain his perspective on what he would have done with a firearm at the time of his victimization.  I most certainly would like to see him strongly pushing back against the opportunistic Gabby and Mark Giffords.

CHESHIRE, CONNECTICUT    Aug. 6 — Dr. William A. Petit Jr., his head bloodied and legs bound, stumbled out of a rear basement door of his two-story home here into a pouring rain, calling the name of a neighbor for help.

The neighbor heard the shouting, but so did the two men inside the house, who peeked outside from an upstairs window. They were both serial burglars with drug habits, having racked up numerous convictions for stealing car keys and pocketbooks.

We were going to write last week about the Gabby Giffords opportunistic visit to Sandy Hook parents in Newtown, CT.   We chose not to, because of the grandma principle behind saying nothing when ya ain’t got nothing good to say; and she is cognitively disabled.  However…..

Gabrielle Giffords is merely a useful tool in the scheme to disarm gun owners.   The “crisis” not to be wasted is obviously the Newtown shooting;  And the group or individual to be “alinskyed” ie isolated, ridiculed and marginalized, is the NRA.

Most gun owners are not NRA members, and many gun owners do not like the previous positions of the NRA on other political issues.   But the Alinsky Team of Fabian Socialists need a specific target – that’s where the NRA comes in.   The NRA is specifically and optically being intentionally built into the narrative of ‘all gun owners’.  It’s how this crew works.

WASHINGTON DC – Former U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords D-Ariz. launched a new policy group this morning dubbed Americans for Responsible Solutions. The organization calls for government action to stop gun violence. (more…)

What we have experienced is that our web site orders have jumped 500 % causing our web site E commerce processing larger Deposits to BANK OF AMERICA ..Well, this through up a huge RED Flag with Bank of America . Now that Mitch McConnell -the creepy senate galapagous tortoise guy- has insufferably stated Republicans will “study any recommendations and then see what’s appropriate to do”.   I have, with specific and complete certainty,  lost all hope for any Second Amendment firearm ownership.    Gun and firearm ownership will soon be lost.

The: “Stop The Slaughter of Our Innocent Children, Defend Our Schools, Protect the Feeble and Huddled Masses, and Be Safe in Your Country From The Radical -Violent- Blood Thirsty- Extremists” bill – will contain all manner of stuff, not just the elimination of gun ownership.

Oh, how quickly people forget.  Obamacare included the takeover of college education finance too, not just a healthcare takeover.

SUNDAY NON-FUNNY  Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell federal [says] spending and the country’s debt will dominate the congressional agenda for the next three months, and that debate about potential gun legislation in the wake of the Connecticut school shooting will take a back seat.

The Kentucky lawmaker tells ABC’s “This Week” that lawmakers will wait to see what an Obama administration review led by Vice President Joe Biden might propose. McConnell says Congress will need to study any recommendations and then see what’s appropriate to do.

But he says that over the coming months, nothing much beyond the country’s finances will occupy the attention of Congress.  (more)

Vice President Joe Biden, tasked with heading a commission to investigate gun violence, has been quietly meeting with experts, interest groups, and public officials and is expected to release a set of recommendations within weeks. WASHINGTON DC – Members of the 113th Congress introduced 10 bills on Thursday relating to gun violence, most of which came from Democrats seeking new restrictions on gun ownership.

The flurry of legislative proposals show that members are likely to push the issue in the wake of the December shooting at a Connecticut elementary school that left 20 children dead.

Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.), whose husband was shot to death in 1993, introduced four of the bills. The congresswoman has vowed to seek changes in federal law in response to the school shooting. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – Vice President Joe Biden “guaranteed” Mayor Thomas M. Menino — a leading national gun control advocate — that President Obama will pass sweeping firearms reforms by the end of the month, the mayor said today.
