It had to pain the very reverend Jesse Jackson that when the Trayvon Martin story began to break nationally in mid-March 2012 he was on a pointless glad handing tour of Europe. The evening of March 19, the night rival Al Sharpton dedicated his own TV show on MSNBC fully to the fictionalized tale of Martin’s death at the hands of a racist neighborhood watch captain in Sanford, Florida, Jackson was giving “his perspective on the fight against discrimination” at a 120 Euro-a-head dinner in a swank Brussels hotel.

The event was sponsored by Democrats Abroad Belgium. The Party’s relentless vote harvesters were using the event to troll for votes and dough among the ex-pats, and Jackson was the best they could do. As Jackson has long understood, he and his rival race hustlers derive their power from their symbiotic relationship with the Democratic-Media complex. When need be, they played ball. (more…)

Perhaps even more sad than the story itself is the fact the “Good Samaritan” has to remain anonymous lest she and her fiance’ suffer retaliation from her own community.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Good Samaritan speaks out about how she and her fiancé helped a man being beaten by teenagers on the Northside.

A witness, who does not want to reveal her identity for fear of her safety, says Friday night she was driving down Soutel Drive near Lem Turner Road with her fiancé and saw a group of teenagers beating a man.

“We seen a whole bunch of African-American kids you know, beating and stomping on an elderly Caucasian guy and he had bags and everything, he couldn’t even defend himself because it was so many kids,” said the anonymous witness. (more…)

An interesting ideological dilemma now exists regarding the 5th District Court of Appeals (DCA) about who should respond to their request for “Position” – ie. “order to show cause“.

The DCA is requiring “The State” be the respondant – they have to, there is no other way for the DCA to ask for an affirmative position to Nelson’s ruling.

Remember, the integral aspect to Judge Nelson’s ruling (essentially no deposition for Crump) was based in large part on the position that Benjamin Crump represented “Opposing Counsel” against Don West/Mark O’Mara and George Zimmerman. Subsequently she used the phrase “co-counsel”, a position from which the State of Florida, via Bernie De La Rionda, never distanced themselves from. (more…)

At 8:01 am this morning the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Florida gave Benjamin Crump 20 days to respond to the request for a Writ of Certiorari filed last week by George Zimmerman’s defense attorney Mark O’Mara – before they make a ruling.

After reception of Crumps response – O’Mara will have another 10 days to submit a reply.

At stake is whether or not Trayvon Martin family attorney, Benjamin Crump, will be deposed during the discovery phase surrounding the State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.

The judge, Debra Nelson, ruled twice that Benjamin Crump would not have to present himself for questioning by the defense surrounding the discovery, in March 2012, of a witness he named “Dee Dee” (Witness #8). (more…)

Progressive Liars – yeah, I know, it’s an oxymoron…..  But there is no doubt when it comes to espousing an ideology a progressive will do anything, say anything and avoid anything that does not reconcile with their ideological view of the world.  They are notorious fibbers.

Such is the case with former Congresscritter Gabby Giffords as she claims, falsely, that Jared Loughner evaded a background check.   He didn’t, he passed one.   But progs cannot let a pesky thing like truth get in the way of their pontifications, an all too familiar mantra.

I think about patience every day as I continue to regain my speech and the mobility I lost after I was shot in the head two years ago, while meeting with my constituents in the parking lot of grocery store in my district.

FLORIDA – The executive director of the State Attorney’s Office is leaving the  employment of Angela Corey.

Richard Komando resigned his position Thursday. In his three-sentence  resignation letter, Komando said his last day in the office would be that day,  but he will be taking leave through April 19 when he will officially depart.  Komondo declined to comment on his departure Friday.

This is the fourth high-profile employee to depart the State Attorney’s  Office in the last year. Chief Assistant State Attorney Dan McCarthy, former  executive director Mike Weinstein and Nassau County chief Wes White also  resigned.  (link)

Both Komando and Weinstein were both Executive Directors of the State Attorneys  office both reporting directly to Angela Corey. An Executive Director manages  the business office, human resource, and the office budget. Who would know best  about any money being used to pad Angela Coreys pension. This is a Salem Witch  hunt to find out who leaked the information to the press about Angela Corey  taking tax payer money to pad her retirement pension. The times Union created  some very bad press about the pension padding and this sounds like a Witch hunt  by Angela Corey to find the leak (link)

(via Mediaite)  On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012.

In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her.

Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department:

He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there, that they were going to be attacked, ‘please they needed more security,’ and they were ignored. And I don’t appreciate everybody going to bed and going to sleep and not taking care of the guys that they put in harm’s way, one of them being my son. (more…)

CAIRO (AP) — A mob threw rocks and fired birdshot Sunday at several hundred Christians marching in a protest against Egypt’s Islamist government after the funeral of four Christians killed in sectarian clashes over the weekend.

The Christians were chanting slogans against Islamist President Mohammed Morsi, just as several thousand did earlier during the funeral service nearby in the Coptic Orthodox cathedral in Cairo.

The attacking mob, described by witnesses as residents of the area, forced the marchers to take shelter inside the sprawling cathedral complex. They also showered the protesters with rocks from the roofs of nearby buildings, according to witness Ibrahim el-Shareef. (more…)

People wonder why the professional grievance industry is so powerful and apparently untouchable for reform.   Consider how much money they have manipulated from the trough.   Pigford 1, Pigford 2,  and now this…  $700 million unaccounted for (and that’s just in ONE program).

“Your guess is as good as mine,” David Montoya, the inspector general of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, says of $700 million in missing taxpayer money that Louisiana homeowners were given in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to elevate and protect their homes from future storms.

A new report released from the inspector general’s office shows that more than 24,000 homeowners who received grants of up to $30,000 to elevate their homes either misspent or pocketed the money.

“The fact of the matter is that the money they received was for a specific purpose and the specific purpose was to elevate these homes to avoid future catastrophes,” Montoya tells Power Players.

He rates the home elevation program as little more than a complete failure. (more…)

Anyone want to bet these victims all retain a  similar ethnic profile?   Apparently the media thinks so, the victims are a closely guarded secret….  The Media?  (((crickets)))  Why?

FLORIDA – Officials from at least two states say the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office has provided key help to authorities prosecuting a man suspected of killing dozens of women across the United States over the course of decades, including victims in Alachua and Marion counties.

Samuel Little, 72, also known as Samuel McDowell, is being held in Los Angeles on three murder charges. It was as Samuel McDowell that he was acquitted in 1984 on a charge that he murdered a Gainesville woman two years earlier.

While local officials remain convinced nearly 30 years after the acquittal that he was the killer of 26-year-old Patricia Ann Mount, the records from that court case have given new life to dozens of other murder investigations throughout the country involving Little.

All the women Little is suspected of killing were beaten, sexually assaulted and strangled to death, some only days apart. The victims also lived high-risk lifestyles, making them easier targets for the transient Little, authorities said. (more…)
