The Zimmerman Case – It Is Far Bigger Than Shellie or George

WARNING – If you are prone to big picture avoidance, or if intellectual honesty makes you uncomfortable, this is not the thread for you.
However, if you are open-minded, well versed in the consequential multi-dimensional politics of our time, and aware that little – if anything – ever happens in the abstract, then perhaps you might enjoy digging further.
There is a big picture here;  a big uncomfortable picture, and in fairness to everyone it needs to be discussed in the brightest sunlight.
To begin I will acknowledge that some TreeHouse members are/were slightly or perhaps even more than moderately annoyed at the level of focus placed upon the Trayvon Martin case by our refuge.  Indeed, it is has been a quite extensive and time-consuming endeavor, not by mere happenstance or by dismissive intention, but more by necessity. DEPORTADOS NO MAS: Amazing How Much A Sinking Presidency Can Change Things…. D.E.S.P.E.R.A.T.I.O.N

Here is one for all liberals to reconcile amid their President Obama worship:

Presidential remarks March 28th 2011: To latino Univision audience

MR. RAMOS: Mr. President, my question will be as follows: With an executive order, could you be able to stop deportations of the students? And if that’s so, that links to another of the questions that we have received through univision.com. We have received hundreds, thousand, all related to immigration and the students. Kay Tomar (ph) through univision.com told us — I’m reading — “What if at least you grant temporary protective status, TPS, to undocumented students? If the answer is yes, when? And if no, why not?”

THE PRESIDENT: Well, first of all, temporary protective status historically has been used for special circumstances where you have immigrants to this country who are fleeing persecution in their countries, or there is some emergency situation in their native land that required them to come to the United States. So it would not be appropriate to use that just for a particular group that came here primarily, for example, because they were looking for economic opportunity.

With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations through executive order, that’s just not the case, because there are laws on the books that Congress has passed — and I know that everybody here at Bell is studying hard so you know that we’ve got three branches of government. Congress passes the law. The executive branch’s job is to enforce and implement those laws. And then the judiciary has to interpret the laws. (more…)

George Zimmerman – Understanding How Strongly The Feds Go After You When The President Puts His Office Credibility On The Line…

Several months ago, when I first made the conscious choice to engage in really digging into and understanding the George Zimmerman case; the reason for my inquiry was based on the fact-based and historically accurate understanding that President Obama does not get involved in anything unless he stands to gain from something politically.
Additionally, I have held the opinion the entire construct of the George Zimmerman V Trayvon™ Martin case would have evaporated from view within weeks, if it were not for the Rose Garden speech by President Obama about  ‘Trayvon being his son’.   At that moment, that specific moment, is when the forces aligned against George Zimmerman increased exponentially.   It was also at that moment that any possibility of a fair or impartial vetting of the case was crushed into the land of impossibility.
President Obama’s involvement is also the reason I have told many “at risk parties”, who do not possess the internal strength to look boldly into the furnace, to run away from it.   This case is not for the faint of courage.   Once you put the full weight, and credibility, of The Office Of The President of The United States into the mix, the concentric circles of narrative protection increase exponentially in all their forms; and they will attack you viciously ad infinitum.
Consider this latest revelation/development from the Miami Herald report to be a case in point.   Emphasis mine:
FLORIDA – The FBI dispatched at least 10 special agents to Central Florida to investigate the Trayvon Martin shooting, records filed in Seminole County Court show. (more…)

S.E. Cupp Stands Her Ground

MSNBC Panel Explodes As ‘Gun Owner’ S.E. Cupp Battles Gun Control Advocate  (Via Mediaite) MSNBC’s Now with Alex Wagner’s panel delved into gun control issues on Thursday which set off a heated yelling match between New York Daily News columnist S.E. Cupp and Dan Gross, President of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.

The panel became tense when Wagner opened with a discussion about proposed New York State legislation that would encode shell casings on bullets to more easily track those guns used in crimes. Major gun lobbies have opposed the legislation and at least one gun maker is threatening to pull their operation from New York if the bill passes. (more…)

Fiscal Prog/Dem Lies – Frustratingly NOT Being Challenged

Like many other issues that Progs Democrats enjoy re-writing history about, see KKK and Democrat Party or George Wallace Democrat Governor, the insufferable Democratic Party advocates are effectively selling a very specific false narrative and NOT being challenged.
For more than a week I have watched, read, listened to and absorbed multiple Democrat Politicians and Pundits/Pollsters selling a story that President George W Bush’s tax cuts increased the deficit.   THIS IS FLAT OUT FALSE.
It is not a conversation/talking point using semantics, parsed words and/or phrases; no, quite the opposite, they are selling this specific talking point as if it is an irrefutable truth. AGAIN, IT IS FLAT OUT FALSE.
The “2003 Jobs Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act” commonly known as the “Bush Tax Cuts” became effective for the 2004 fiscal year.   The Democrats charge that the Bush Tax Cuts reduced tax revenue is, actually, an outright lie.  Take a look at “Revenues” or how much money has come into, or been withheld from the Government because of Bush’s Tax rates.  The Bush Tax Cuts (“Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003“) were signed into law on May 28, 2003, just months before the start of the 2004 fiscal year. The results — in terms of real revenue to the U.S. governmentwere stunning.

Look at how revenue grew in Fiscal Year(s) 04′, 05′, 06′, and 07′.

According to the OMB’s own figures, the Bush tax cuts resulted in an explosion of revenue to the U.S. government. Get that?   The governments own non-partisan accounting office state unequivocally the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003 brought more revenue into the treasury (look at chart). Responsible Fatherhood 101 – First Teach "Dine and Dash"

ABC NEWS – Amid the bustle of President Obama’s surprise stop for barbecue Wednesday the White House apparently overlooked one key detail: paying the bill.  Celebrating Father’s Day early, the president had lunch with two service members and two local barbers at Kenny’s BBQ on Capitol Hill.

As the group chatted about fatherhood, the president enjoyed a steaming plate of pork ribs with hot sauce, collard greens, red beans and rice and cornbread.  The bill for the president and his four guests was $55.58, but was left unpaid at the point of sale, according to pool reports.

Chicago Jesus Reinforces The Obvious – Out Of Touch – Horseface and Hoighty Tour

Simply Fabulous Dahling, smooch, smooch....

NEW YORK Tonight is the Obama campaign’s “New York Night” of star-studded fundraisers, with a much-advertised event at actress Sarah Jessica Parker’s home and a ritzy gala-concert at The Plaza Hotel featuring a performance by Mariah Carey.
Both President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will attend. The Parker event, which is co-hosted by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, will raise an estimated $2 million for the Obama Victory Fund from ticket sales — plus millions more from an online grassroots sweepstakes, campaign officials said.
The contest was pushed heavily online, through social media and in the Obama campaign’s first national TV ad that aired on MTV during its 2012 Movie Awards. One lucky supporter who gave as little as $3 won tickets to attend. The campaign will release the name of the winner today. They will join 50 wealthy donors who each paid $40,000 to attend the reception inside Parker’s home. (more…)
