The vast majority of Democrats are furious that Cardinal Dolan was allowed to pray at their convention.   They are furious.    Following on the heels of forced acceptance of God and religion in their party platform, and on the heels of a forced/manipulated floor vote to falsify acceptance of Israel and Jerusalem,  the base of the Democrat party is rabid with anger.

Allowing Cardinal Dolan to pray for the unborn, and pray for a pro-life/pro-family message was just too much.  His prayer became the straw that broke the camel’s back. The base of the Democrat party is in uproar:

The report’s weak tenor was also underscored by revisions to June and July data to show 41,000 fewer jobs created than previously reported. The labor force participation rate, or the percentage of Americans who either have a job or are looking for one, fell to 63.5 percent — the lowest since September 1981.

BLOOMBERG – Payrolls rose less than projected in August and the unemployment rate declined as more Americans left the labor force, indicating the U.S. labor market is stagnating.

The economy added 96,000 workers last month following a revised 141,000 rise in July that was smaller than initially estimated, Labor Department figures showed today in Washington. The median estimate of 92 economists surveyed by Bloomberg called for a gain of 130,000. Unemployment unexpectedly fell to 8.1 percent, and hourly earnings were unchanged. (more…)

Ahhh, thank heaven the circuses are over, and political discord can advance to the next-to-last stage of smash mouth positioning.    Both sides have had their turn at their highly visible, yet self-indulgent, pep rallies and now it’s time to get down to business.

The remainder of September will be filled with punch, and counter-punch, bantering with media pundits keeping score on who lands the most effective blows.   Let the Games Begin, only this year certainly looks more like a cage match blood sport in the works.

Desperation always brings out the very ugliest in Democrats, the more desperate they are the more ugly they become.   Remember the fleabaggers in Wisconsin who bolted for Illinois when they were crushed in the election?   Yup, it is THAT exact level of despair amid the closed circle types of left-wing politicos we are about to witness. In her opening performance in front of a packed audience at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., singer Mary J. Blige began a rendition of her hit song by shouting out to the President.  However, the shout out sounded a bit strange given the nature of presidential campaigns.

Before performing her song, “Family Affair,” Blige asked the audience to stand up. She then shouted to the enthusiastic crowd, “Lets get it crunk for President Obama!” The crowd cheered and began dancing.  (err, ok) (more…)

It’s definitely bass-ackwards.  No wonder Mayor Villaraigosa was dumbstruck with prog-pocrisy.   Stuck between a rock and the “proverbial” hard-place.    So fast forward 15 hours and lookie what the State department has to say following the party platform debacle:

The State Department today again refused to name the capital of Israel, even after being questioned by the press and even after the Democratic party (President Obama’s party) voted yesterday to add language to its platform stating that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

As noted in this somewhat slanted partisan article (below) Al Gore is conspicuously absent from the DNC Convention.   The claim is because of President Obama’s wishy-washy positions on “Green Issues”, but the issue is actually deeper still.

Al Gore’s financial status is dependent on global warming vis-a-vis “Cap n Trade”.  Not only is he a one policy special interest advocate, but he has strategically invested all of his financial efforts into creating the ‘next bubble’ Energy Carbon Trading.

His ire with Obama is not because the President is not a radical environmentalist, which Obama certainly is; the bigger issue is the disappointment on Gores anticipated return on investment being delayed because of weakened economics.

Al Gore and his like-minded Wall Street and Global financiers, have invested heavily on a system of financial gain from a ‘cap n trade’ scheme; similar in construct and origination to the housing loan bond market schemes.   They have been betting for a number of years on some type of trade market being created through the use of energy carbon credits.
