Just like 2008 the media is up to it’s old tricks with Poll manipulation.   Insufferable.

The latest CNN poll shows Obama ahead of Mitt Romney 52 to 47. But the poll drastically oversampled Democrats to get this stunning result.

If a more accurate number of Republicans and Independents were included the poll would show Mitt Romney leading 53 percent to 45 percent for Obama.

FLORIDA – On the campaign trail, President Obama is constantly talking about the importance of technology, but he met his match in an iPhone Sunday.

The president had stopped at a campaign office in Port St. Lucie, Fla., to thank volunteers. Then, for the cameras, Mr. Obama was supposed to call two campaign workers who were out working on his behalf.

But when White House trip director Marvin Nicholson handed the president his personal iPhone, Mr. Obama couldn’t get it to work. A reporter who witnessed the scene said the president looked “befuddled.”

“It’s not clear he knows how to dial on an iPhone,” the reporter wrote in a pool report. (more…)

About the media-hyped DNC bounce……  It doesn’t exist !   President Obama is in no better shape today than he was two weeks ago.  It is fictional, false, a complete figment.

But the insufferable water-carrying media is trying to make everyone  believe President Obama’s re-election hopes are better.  They’re not.

Consider this recent examiner article –  The Rasmussen Reports Daily Tracking Poll of the presidential race released today shows President Obama leading Mitt Romney 46 percent to 44 percent. That margin is within the poll’s margin of error and therefore, the race by that result is statistically tied. It appears that Romney gained four percent after the Republican convention and Obama has gained two or three of that percent back after the Democratic National Convention this past week.

The state polls and race for electoral votes shows to be unchanged from the last GOP2112 analysis of the electoral vote race published here August 25, 2012. Not a single state has moved into a different category since then, and Romney maintains the electoral vote lead of 317 to 179 over Obama with 42 electoral votes from Pennsylvania, Minnesota, New Mexico and Oregon remaining in toss-up status. The map above shows which ways the states are leaning in this presidential race.

The look on the guys’ faces are priceless…….   OHIO –  Vice President Joe Biden got caught in a stunning photo with a female biker sitting on his lap.

The Associated Press snapped the shot at Cruisers Diner in Seaman, Ohio on Sunday.  A White House pool report says the bikers may be part of a group called the Shaddowmen.” No details were available on their real names or what discussion led to the lap incident.

Some observers were quick to joke that Biden is starting to resemble the working-class parody Biden seen in The Onion.

A most excellent and succinct article (below) describing the pending doom of the Democrat party.   The signs are everywhere…. you just have to see beyond the media’s curtain.  

The podium at the DNC was just like the podium in Bagdad Iraq circa 1991  2003 (corrected) where we got to laugh nightly at Bagdad Bob telling everyone how the infidels were being crushed by the mighty forces of Iraq’s Elite Republican Guard.   Meanwhile in the background we bore witness to the “Shock and Awe” coalition campaign destroying everything around him.

It was so sad, and yet so comical to watch.  That metaphor describes the modern DNC and is very aptly described in the following article:

That’s what Democrats have to make Bumper Stickers –  I hate fibbers liars !

(IBD) The Obama camp can’t stop clucking about how he saved GM and the car industry. But if the GM bailout is such a success story, why can’t it pay back its debt to taxpayers?

The president’s new campaign video narrated by actor Tom Hanks claims GM has “repaid” its loans. But in a revelation by the special inspector general monitoring the TARP bailout program, GM and GMAC together still owe the biggest share of the remaining $119 billion TARP debt.

Of the top bailout recipients, GM is the biggest laggard, the TARP watchdog says in his latest quarterly report to Congress. Bank of America, Citigroup, Chrysler and Chrysler Financial all have paid off their debt and left the TARP program. Even AIG has paid back more than 75% of what it owes taxpayers.

GM, on the other hand, still owes more than half the $50 billion in federal funds it received when the combination of the recession and its costly union contracts drove it into bankruptcy. And its lending arm, GMAC (now Ally Financial), still owes $14.5 billion. (more…)

This is just reflective of something any substantive political watcher already knows; but it is affirming to find supportive evidence nonetheless.

President Obama continually sells the story of his across the aisle outreach as an excuse for why his policies failed.  He claims he tried too hard to work with the other side.

This is a regular talking point for the institutional leftists.   However, the truth is divergent in the extreme, and Bob Woodward hits on it within his new book “The Price of Politics”.

Rep. John Lewis foolishly, but effectively and falsely, accused the Tea Party of “spitting” on him in 2010.   It did not happen, but the media drummed the controversial talking point to death in their futile effort to ridicule the Tea Party as racist.

Well, Mr. Lewis is at it again this year.   Ridiculously claiming that Republican fiscal policy will bring back segregation.

“I’ve seen this before, I lived this before,” he claimed, after extensively describing his activism in Southern states in the 1950 and 1960s. (more…)
