Yes, I actually watched live at 3am because I was essentially viewing this presidential speech in the similar vein of the 2009 Cairo speech. What would Obama project to the world as his goals moving forward. Having said that, it indeed is highly reflective of what we can expect both here and projected abroad for the next four years.

Today we wish the best of days to our own “ytz4mee”… blogger, warrior, and mighty voice for conservative principles. Yatz is a woman on the go, and you never know from where she may be popping in from time to time as she swings by and grabs a limb on the Tree. She has inexhaustible energy, and passionately gives voice to the principles we all hold so near and dear. 
Today, we hope she’ll pause in the pursuits of battle, settle down under the Tree, and join us for some coffee, a bit of peameal bacon, and a generous helping of cake as we join in celebration of her birthday. (I’ll bet someone might even stop in with a Silver Bullet or two and a bottle of Jack a little later in the day, just to keep things going.)
Yatz not only contributes to the Treehouse, she also maintains her own blog, “Stop Shouting”, where she has earned high praise from Prof. Jacobsen, and was the recipient of the much coveted “Instalanche” for her article, “My Rebuttal to a Progressive who Admonished Me to Play Nice ….”. The consistent lies and outright scheming from the Obama White House are about to reach sunlight. Various intelligence reporters are now pointing out that Petraeus is stating the Susan Rice “talking points” about Benghazi DID NOT come from his intelligence office gathering, they came from the White House. (Obama screwed up yesterday when he openly took ownership of them – his handlers are freaking)

HatTip to Senator Lyndsey Graham who finally points out the primary problem with the White House hiding behind the CIA angle to the Benghazi story.
As we pointed out the White House in general, and President Obama specifically, intentionally shifted the deflection narrative to hide behind the CIA, and secrets, with the Benghazi story. Both the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times were utilized along with CNN’s Suzanne Kelly to claim the State Department was a cover story for the CIA activity on the ground. In essence the White House claimed that the CIA was in control of Benghazi operations INCLUDING THE SECURITY.
The White House and Administration used the New York Times, CNN, and The Wall Street Journal to sell their spin. But we, along with many others including Bing West, were not buying it. As Bing West wrote: (more…)
Perfect. This announcement comes just moments before President Obama is expected to hold a press conference (around 1pm) about his Term Two agenda and possible questions about Benghazi.
Again, the most important aspect to any discussion of events and research comes back to the timeline. Petraeus gave his testimony briefing on Sept. 14th. More after the video:
Transcript: I think the really shocking news today was that General Petraeus thought and hoped he could keep his job. He thought that it might and it would be kept secret, and that he could stay in his position. I think what that tells us is really important.
It meant that he understood that the FBI obviously knew what was going on. He was hoping that those administration officials would not disclose what had happened, and therefore hoping that he would keep his job. And that meant that he understood that his job, his reputation, his legacy, his whole celebrated life was in the hands of the administration, and he expected they would protect him by keeping it quiet. As best we can understand the evolving narrative here is what it looks like:
Jill and Dr. Scott Kelley live in the Tampa / St. Pete area. They are active in the military community with support for military families. The Kelley’s do numerous fundraisers etc. and when Petraeus was assigned to station in Tampa the Kelley’s hosted a meet-n-greet with Holly and David Petraeus. Mr and Mrs. Petraeus became friends with Mr. and Mrs. Kelley.
So Jill Kelley, a Petraeus family friend, began receiving odd and harrassing e-mails about her relationship with CIA director General David Petraeus:
“More like, ‘Who do you think you are? … You parade around the base … You need to take it down a notch,’” according to the source, who was until recently at the highest levels of the intelligence community and prefers not to be identified by name.
Kelley then reaches out to a family friend who is by profession in the FBI. She asks if these unsourced e-mails reach the level of cyber-stalking. (more…)
