Flashback Pelosi on Obamacare: “we’re going to have to pass the bill, to, well, you know, find out what is in it”…

Remember this:

Well here’s another one Obamacare Pre-Existing Condition Fee To Cost Companies $63 Per Person – Your medical plan is facing an unexpected expense, so you probably are, too. It’s a new, $63-per-head fee to cushion the cost of covering people with pre-existing conditions under President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul.

Doctor ObamaThe charge, buried in a recent regulation, works out to tens of millions of dollars for the largest companies, employers say. Most of that is likely to be passed on to workers.

Employee benefits lawyer Chantel Sheaks calls it a “sleeper issue” with significant financial consequences, particularly for large employers.

“Especially at a time when we are facing economic uncertainty, (companies will) be hit with a multi-million dollar assessment without getting anything back for it,” said Sheaks, a principal at Buck Consultants, a Xerox subsidiary.

Based on figures provided in the regulation, employer and individual health plans covering an estimated 190 million Americans could owe the per-person fee. (more…)

S.P.E.N.D.I.N.G P.R.O.B.L.E.M. – Feds Deficit Spend/Borrow $4,800,000,000.00 per day ($4.8 Billion)

Humor in NatureYet for some insufferable reason the truth of this fiscal insanity cannot penetrate the blood brain barrier of infected congresscritters.

(CNSNews.com) – The federal government ran a deficit of $292 billion for the first two months of fiscal year 2013 – October and November 2012 – amounting to $4.8 billion of borrowed money each day.

“The federal budget deficit was $292 billion for the first two months of fiscal year 2013, $57 billion more than the shortfall recorded in October and November of last year,” CBO said in its Monthly Budget Review Friday.

This means that the government borrowed $4.8 billion for each calendar day so far in 2013.

If the Treasury Department restricted its borrowing to only weekdays, its per day average would jump to $6.5 billion per day thus far in fiscal year 2013. CBO reported that federal revenues rose by $30 billion – a 10 percent increase over last year, but spending increased more, going up by $87 billion or 16 percent.  (more)

“Irrelevant” – Prez. Obama Agriculture Secretary Vilsack says Bitter Clingers are Less Relevant”….

Tom Vilsack is a member of President Obama’s Cabinet and reflects the typical attitude of those who surround “THIS” President.    But they may want to pause before disparaging the kitchen staff (rural America = bitter clingers), because that very same kitchen crew might just say “enough” and quit.   Then, how you gonna eat?

family-farm-e1332384792489WASHINGTON (AP) — Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack has some harsh words for rural America: It’s “becoming less and less relevant,” he says.

A month after an election that Democrats won even as rural parts of the country voted overwhelmingly Republican, the former Democratic governor of Iowa told farm belt leaders this past week that he’s frustrated with their internecine squabbles and says they need to be more strategic in picking their political fights.

“It’s time for us to have an adult conversation with folks in rural America,” Vilsack said in a speech at a forum sponsored by the Farm Journal. “It’s time for a different thought process here, in my view.” (more…)

“Mo’ Better Blues” – Bankrupt Detroit City Councilwoman Demands We Voted For You, Obama, Now Give Us Some Of That Government “Bacon”…

Mentality = we put you back in office so you’d best be coming up with some payback n stuff.  Obamaphones, Obama-foodstamps, Obama-ebt, Obama “stimulus”……

undefinedDETROIT – Speaking before the Detroit City Council on Tuesday, Councilwoman JoAnn Watson said it’s time President Barack Obama pays back the ailing city for putting him back in office by giving them a government bailout.

“Our people in an overwhelming way supported the re-election of this president and there ought to be a quid pro quo and you ought to exercise leadership on that,” said Watson, according to FOX 2 Detroit. “Of course, not just that, but why not?” (more…)

Tar and Feathers Cairo Style – Can we bring a few of these peeps to Washington DC?

I’m thinking something could be learned from them.    Egypt’s President Morsi evacuated from residence after freedom supporters stage mass protest and clash with security at compound.

undefined(VIA BBC)  Police have fired tear gas in clashes with tens of thousands of protesters gathered near the presidential palace in the Egyptian capital Cairo.

Some of the protesters reportedly cut through barbed wire around the palace.  Crowds have been gathering to protest against what they say is the rushed drafting of a new constitution and the decision by President Mohammed Morsi to extend his powers.

No Likey You No More – You Waste Time – You Go Away Now Poor Boy…

Remember that Asian Trip Obama Took before Thanksgiving?    Did you, wonder why the media never said what it was about, and more importantly what were the outcomes?

Obama ConfusedH.U.M.I.L.I.A.T.I.O.N. – It is symptomatic of the national condition of the United States that the worst humiliation ever suffered by it as a nation, and by a US president personally, passed almost without comment last week.

I refer to the November 20 announcement at a summit meeting in Phnom Penh that 15 Asian nations, comprising half the world’s population, would form a Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership excluding the United States.

President Barack Obama attended the summit to sell a US-based Trans-Pacific Partnership excluding China. He didn’t. The American led-partnership became a party to which no-one came. (more…)

Prada Quid-Pro-Quo For Pravda – Obama Floats Ambassador Position for Wintour….

Heck, she probably can’t be any worse than the prior political fundraising wench he appointed to represent him in Denmark.  That woman was such an insufferable, incompetent witch the employees begged for transfers to Iraq/Afghanistan embassies.

Anna+Wintour-500x325WASHINGTON DC – President Barack Obama is considering nominating Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue, to be either his next ambassador to the U.K. or France, as he looks to reward his biggest fundraisers with embassies that never seem out of fashion, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Wintour, 63, may have some competition for the London posting, with Matthew Barzun, the finance chairman of Obama’s presidential campaign, also interested in the job, officially known as ambassador to the Court of St. James’s, said the people, who requested anonymity. (more…)

Al Sharpton (and Fellow Race Baiters) To Deliver “Black Agenda” Demand List To Obama…

Black Agenda ?

WASHINGTON DC – Following a four-hour closed door meeting Monday, the leaders of four African-American advocacy groups emerged looking pleased to announce a collective wish list they plan to deliver to President Barack Obama for his second term.

sharpton-mad-500x333

The “black agenda,” as the groups have called their wish list on Twitter, starts with ensuring the fiscal cliff doesn’t disproportionately hurt black Americans. That’s something Marc Morial, president and CEO of the National Urban League, has worried about before. But Morial also listed five new priorities that came out of what he called Monday’s “historic gathering.” Those include: working for parity for blacks in education, health care and the economy; reforming the criminal justice system; and protecting and defending voting rights.
