There are Trillions at Stake – The Big Club and UniParty Opposition to President

There are a lot of masks dropping this week.  There is a great deal of new sunlight upon the professional and institutional republican politicians that hold office.  There is a great deal of information this week highlighting establishment opposition against the presidency of Donald Trump. It is valuable to understand what lies at the heart of this opposition.

CTH can get down in the weeds of each specific issue to discuss the motives and intents (we will, and do), but the big picture MUST remain at the forefront of understanding. If we lose track of the big picture, the weeds are overwhelming.

…“It must be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage than a new system. For the initiator has the enmity of all who would profit by the preservation of the old institution and merely lukewarm defenders in those who gain by the new ones.”

~ Niccolò Machiavelli

♦POTUS Trump was disrupting the global order of things in order to protect and preserve the shrinking interests of the U.S. He was fighting, almost single-handed, at the threshold of the abyss. Our interests, our position, is zero-sum. His DC opposition seeks to repel and retain the status-quo. They want to return to full economic control over the U.S.

In these economic endeavors President Trump was disrupting decades of financial schemes established to use the U.S. as a host for their endeavors. President Trump was confronting multinational corporations and the global constructs of economic systems that were put in place to the detriment of the host (USA) ie YOU. There are trillions at stake; it is all about the economics; everything else is chaff and countermeasures.

Familiar faces, perhaps faces you previously thought were decent, are now revealing their alignment with larger entities that are our abusers. In an effort to awaken the victim to the cycle of self-destructive codependent behavior, allow me to cue an audio visual example from March 2018 and U.S. Senator John Thune. WATCH:

Sunday Talks: Ted Cruz Discusses January 6th Challenge to 2020 Electoral Certification

Senator Ted Cruz appears on Sunday morning to discuss the process of challenging the electoral college certification with Maria Bartiromo (CFR).  Senator Cruz (TX) discusses his recent decision to assemble with several GOP Senators after Senator Josh Hawley (MO) announced his intent to challenge the certification.

https://youtu.be/mHuz1UqXRa8

Within the interview Senator Cruz notes the Supreme Court has deferred any election challenge to the legislative branch; which -in his view- should have been permitted to be argued in the court.

However, setting aside political motives for a moment, the two legal and legislative issues discussed within the conversation (Guarantee Clause and Electoral Count Act) highlight a constitutional framework that does sit outside the judicial branch for resolution.

The main question is… does the legislative branch still have enough strength within the institution to follow the constitutional process?  THAT is the element where the unknowns exist.

On one-hand we see a corrupted DC body, infecting all institutional processes – across all branches of government, that has allowed severe corruption to take hold.  On the other hand, thanks to the foresight of our founding fathers, the process for rectifying that corruption still exists.

Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski and Pat Toomey Pledge to Support 2020 Election Fraud

Republican Senators Mitt Romney (see here) Utah, Lisa Murkowski (see here) Alaska, and Pat Toomey (see here) Pennsylvania, have officially pledged their support for fraud in the 2020 election.

Each of the senators essentially affirms their justification of fraud by saying the constitution outlines a process to accept fraud that must not be challenged.

VP Pence Chief of Staff Gives Statement Supporting January 6th Challenge to Electoral Certification

In the first comments since the growing coalition of electoral challenges have been raised, Vice-President Mike Pence’s chief of staff, Marc Short, released a statement:

WASHINGTON – […] “Vice President Pence shares the concerns of millions of Americans about voter fraud and irregularities in the last election,” Marc Short, Pence’s chief of staff said in a statement to The Hill.

“The Vice President welcomes the efforts of members of the House and Senate to use the authority they have under the law to raise objections and bring forward evidence before the Congress and the American people on January 6th,” the statement continued. (read more)

January 6th Ted Cruz Has a Rare Second-Chance At Redemption, But Don’t Expect Him to Take It…

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz has one of those rare opportunities to redeem his entire political career by supporting President Trump on January 6, 2021.  This is a rare second-chance; let us hope Ted Cruz has the grace, humility and strength to see it.

In 2016, during the RNC convention to nominate Donald Trump, a bitter and divisive Ted Cruz self-immolated on a national stage.

The collapse was so catastrophic when Cruz attempted to return to the convention donor suite in the Cleveland auditorium he was kicked out by Cruz’s main financial backers, Robert and Rebekah Mercer.  Senator Cruz never recovered.

Two years later, having lost the base of support from a MAGA community that did not forget, Senator Ted Cruz was on his back facing a Senate challenge from democrat Beto O’Rourke and he needed President Trump to rally in Texas on his behalf. Trump came to Texas in 2018 and lifted Cruz to a narrow victory.

Two years later, with the electoral challenge now established for January 6, Ted Cruz has the rare opportunity, a second-chance, to elevate himself back to a political position of influence… While we await the outcome, here is the 2016 reminder.

You Can’t Make This Up – Hours After Blocking Section 230 Big Tech Reform Effort, Senate Republicans Complain About Big Tech Censorship

It is difficult to imagine a more succinct assembly of arrogant jerks than gathers within the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC).  In this example today the Senate Republicans voted to override the veto of President Trump and rebuke his request to include legislative reform to address Big Tech censorship reform known as Section 230.

Literally within moments of their veto and Section.230 rebuke, the same NRSC is on their social media account complaining about Big Tech censorship:

You can’t make this stuff up folks, you just can’t.

Senate Overrides President Trump Veto of Defense Bill

President Trump vetoed [H.R. 6395 (116)] the National Defense and Authorization Act spending bill last month, because the bill did not include a demand to repeal legal protections for social media companies known as Section 230. Additionally President Trump opposed forcing military bases to be renamed; and more importantly Trump objected to congressional limits on the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan & Europe.

Congress used the NDAA to demand U.S. troops remain present around the world to expand our military influence. Various foreign governments pay congressional representatives -via the leadership PAC and monetary laundry service- to retain the blood of U.S. service-members on their soil.

DC politicians accept foreign money and trade in the currency of dead U.S. military members to enlarge their own stock portfolios. President Trump was viewed as against the interests of the Senate Foreign Relations and Armed Services committees for his ongoing attempts to stop this payment scheme.

Today the senate voted 81-13 to override President Trump’s veto of the bill. Thirteen democrat and republican senators voted to support the veto, however, some of the GOP were hiding their alignment behind an opportunity to give the illusion of MAGA support.

D’Souza: “GOP establishment should realize Trump supporters demand the election challenge”

Dinesh D’Souza points out: “the GOP establishment must recognize there is no way forward without the Trump voters, and the Trump voters demand a challenge of the election results.”  I would slightly disagree with the party linguistics, but essentially D’Souza has a point.  Unfortunately, the GOPe doesn’t care.

Also unfortunately the un-discussed aspect is the unity pact between both wings of the UniParty bird.  The GOPe wants elimination of “Trump” supporters in exactly the same way the GOP wanted, and orchestrated, the elimination of the Tea Party.

If America-First or “MAGA” ideology is the Republican brand, that means the elimination (ie. lots of republicans being primaried) of tenured GOPe politicians.  As an outcome, “Trumpism” is a risk to their structural power.  The charge against the Tea Party was led by Republicans.  The same charge against Trump is led by Republicans.

Senator Josh Hawley Announces Intent to Challenge January 6 Certification of Electors, With Stunning Response From Walmart

Earlier today Missouri Senator Josh Hawley announced his intent to challenge the January 6th congressional certification of the electors.  A group of approximately 30 House representatives, led by Mo Brooks,  will be challenging from the lower chamber.

This sets up a dynamic where formal electoral challenges from both chambers of congress will be taking place based on evidence of election fraud in several key states.  The objection will initiate a debate and roll-call vote to certify electors within both the House and Senate.  Vice-President Mike Pence will preside over the debate in the Senate.

A combination of The Guarantee Clause (constitution) and the Electoral Count Act of 1887 (law), establishes the framework for some to argue a fraudulent 2020 election result can successfully be challenged during congressional certification on January 6, 2021. Thus five state legislatures -under Republican control- have sent dual-sets of electors to congress: Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Georgia and Pennsylvania. (more…)

A Familiar Play – Mitch McConnell Blocks Attempt to Pass $2,000 COVID Relief Bill, Deflects Accountability to POTUS

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blocked a bipartisan effort to enlarge the COVID relief bill to $2,000.  President Trump supports the enhanced relief package.  As a consequence, in justifying his maneuver McConnell did something we are all too familiar with.  It is time to expose the Decepticon game again; this time people will accept.

[POTUS Tweet LinkWashington Post Link]

At first blush you might ask yourself why Mitch McConnell would block this bill and put the Georgia special election senate races in question.  He just handed Georgia democrats an atomic sledgehammer.  However, what most people do not understand is how McConnell works; being in the minority position is not adverse to his interests.  McConnell operates with a Machiavellian strategy, so we will explain.

Senator McConnell said the $2,000 bill would be attached to two other POTUS priorities including (1) section 230 reform, and (2) a request for congressional review of the 2020 election fraud, both have been requested by President Trump.  This is how Mitch McConnell justifies; this is how the GOP will defend his decision; the creation of a false dichotomy is how McConnell works.  But watch what he is really doing.

McConnell admits in his floor testimony the three stage bill will take time to assemble. In essence he admits publicly the $2k, 23o reform and 2020 election review committee will take longer than the January 5th Georgia runoff.  So he is admitting the toxic political issue of the $2,000 denial will exist to benefit the democrats in the race.  Accept this.

Second, McConnell knows a second bill with all three elements will not pass the House. McConnell knows it is a pure political posturing exercise that will produce nothing, yet provide more justification for his blockage.
