Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded earlier today to the hour long speech by Secretary John Kerry and the clarified stance of the U.S. position toward Israel as outlined in the past several days.

At 05:30 of the Netanyahu remarks he specifically calls Secretary Kerry and President Obama to task for manipulating the United Nations:
(05:30) […] We have it on absolute uncontestable evidence that the United States organized, advanced and brought this resolution to the United Nations Security Council. We will share that information with the incoming administration; some of it is sensitive, it’s all true; you saw some of it in the protocol released in the Egyptian paper – there’s plenty more, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
There is a widely discussed interview between President Obama and David Axelrod being discussed today where Obama claims his legacy would have reelected him, if only… etc.
However, the single least discussed aspect to the interview content itself is the reemergence of a truism no-one ever pays attention to. Just like the Clinton Clan before them, the Obama Clan have no actual home.

President Reagan had his ranch in California; President George HW Bush had his home in Kennebunkport; President ‘Dubya’ Bush had Crawford, Texas; but just like President Clinton, President Obama has no central base; travelers never do.
Specifically because of a life determined by self-interest ideology, when the time comes to dismount the high horse there’s a common inability of Clinton and Obama to do so. There is a very specific dynamic, a symptomatic common connection.

Alan Dershowitz discusses Obama’s foreign policy legacy and the recent U.N. resolution to undermine Israel. Dershowitz lambasts President Obama with the strongest public criticism he’s ever displayed.
All of that said, President Obama doesn’t care a bit about this criticism. The recent U.N. fiasco was simply Obama and Samantha Power providing sunlight upon their inherent ideology. The only reason they didn’t do it sooner was because there was always another election to worry about.
Oh, and one more thing for Alan Dershowitz to accept: (more…)
Newt Gringrich appeared on Fox News Sunday this Christmas morning for an interview with Chris Wallace. Substantively this was a good presentation by Gingrich who does a great job this time explaining administrative/executive “Trump”, and common sense as it applies to Trump foreign policy.
At the 07:45 point the discussion turns toward governmental contractors and the DC lobbying community etc.
A key moment also comes at the 10:50 point of the interview where Gingrich identifies something we previously discussed in the primary election: the scope of the swamp, and the predictable “there are trillions at stake” fight.
…”they’ll reach a crisis point; where they are going to look in the room at each other, they’re all winners; and they’re going to say either we’re going to be more reasonable and get along with the city, or we have to become even more unreasonable and break the power structure that’s opposing us. My hunch is they’ll pick the latter”…
I think Newt’s hunch is correct. That inflection point, timed around the delivery of the first Donald Trump budget to congress, is the epic battle many of us have been waiting for.

Media and the professional left have been jaw-agape, pearl-clutching amid their discussion of the appropriateness for Donald Trump to directly confront corporate CEO’s about their business models.
Initially their angst was simply because Donald Trump had the audacity to begin staking a pro-worker, “America First” jobs position with Carrier Inc. The workers won.
President Trump then shifted slightly and spoke toward government contractors such as Boeing (Air Force One Contract) and Lockheed Martin… challenging their costs:

President-elect Trump took stewardship to an entire new level when tasking two competitors, Boeing and Lockheed Martin, for comparative bids and lower costs. The approach is brilliant.
According to their own report, the F-35 program is Lockheed Martin’s largest program, generating 59% of Aeronautics’ net sales in 2015. (link) Lockheed receives 78% of their $46.1 billion in net sales from the U.S. Government.

China understands very well the consequences. President Trump very well understands the leverage. The U.S. market is the customer in the trade equation.
This is not a negotiation for the faint at heart… This.Shall.Be.Epic. THIS is the battle many of us have long awaited. Long awaited. The patriotic industrialists, our titans, have been patiently waiting for the leveling….
The overarching policy is a simple two word summary, “America First”. It is critical, absolutely critical, to remember: in the entirety of their economic rise to power, China has never had to contemplate an economic adversary ambivalent to their state-centric objectives.
In all prior economic negotiations China has simply bought off their Washington DC opposition through the use of lobbyists and Tom Donohue’s personal business enterprise, the U.S. CoC. China’s only familiar option is now completely off the table.
(Via Reuters) Chinese state media on Friday expressed alarm and warned of a “showdown with the U.S.” after President-elect Donald Trump named Peter Navarro, an economist who has urged a hard line against China, to head a new White House National Trade Council. (more…)
After much speculation the formal role of Kellyanne Conway is announced. It appears President Trump will be utilizing Ms. Conway’s vast advocacy experience to leverage/lobby congress internally on behalf of the Trump agenda...
(Palm Beach, FL) — President-elect Donald J. Trump today announced his selection of Kellyanne Conway to serve as Counselor to the President. Conway has been serving as a senior member of the President-elect’s transition team and previously served as the campaign manager of his successful run for the presidency.
As you review this CNN article it is CRITICAL to remember there are two divergent U.S. economies: a Wall Street economy, and a Main Street economy. The DC UniParty Politicians, the Globalists and the MSM will instantaneously conflate the two. Stay sharp.
The direct target of the tariff approach is the enhancement of the Main Street economy. Due to the global nature of Wall Street this immediately puts their financial relationship, their economic risk, in the same place as the risk for foreign countries which would be subjected to the economic leveling of the trade equation.
Again, stay intellectually sharp – this is where we are going to have to fight “the big club“. Understanding how their “trillions of dollars at stake” are placed within the equation is a critical aspect to understanding how the UniParty will attack.

Washington (CNN) – The Trump transition team is floating the possibility of an early executive action to impose tariffs on foreign imports, according to multiple sources.
Such a move would deliver on President-elect Donald Trump’s “America First” campaign theme. But it’s causing alarm among business interests and the pro-trade Republican establishment. (more…)
