JACKSON, Miss. –Mississippi Governor Phil Byrant says the person or persons that killed Jessica Chambers will be found and brought to justice.
“My instructions to (Mississippi Department of Public Safety) Commissioner Albert Santa Cruze is to spare no effort. Whatever we need to do, utilize whatever expertise, equipment, manpower, personnel, we are going to find the person who committed this heinous crime; and we are going to hold them accountable,” Bryant said in an interview with News Mississippi. Jessica Lane Chambers – ….”She talked to several people about the book. She has started a journal about the abusive relationships and the rape. She had shown very good progress in dealing with her emotions and had replaced her negative coping skills with positive ways to deal with her low self esteem.

The gang had heard about the journal and thought it was the “book.” She had the rough copy with her that night in her car. She was not naming names or telling secrets of the gang, She did not tell of their drugs, gun running, and the “House that was a safe haven to young Muslim males from Yemen . (more…)

Wow, what a busy 24 hours. First things first.
•The Keys were in the ignition • the transmission in park • the emergency brake engaged • and the 2005 Kia Rio (black) was forward facing toward the tree.
• The trunk was opened the following day using a tire iron • Despite claims to the contrary there was what appears to be damage not caused by fire toward the right rear of the vehicle.
• An accelerant was used • soil samples were collected • 4″ x 12″ x4 sections of tree removed for testing.
This was not an accident.
♦ Secondly, regarding gangs or no-gangs. Just because a person belongs to a gang -and that person carries out a crime- does not indicate the crime was a ‘gang crime’. If a member of the ‘Soccer Ball and Teddy Bear Society’ robs a Citgo gas station, that doesn’t mean the SBTBS robbed the gas station.
♦ Third – Disinformation like we’ve never before seen, circles the case of Jessica Chambers. It is almost enough to lend sympathy to DA Champion’s assertions of puzzlement, almost. (more…)
