An article in the New York Times highlights how flawed the vetting process was for Tashfeen Malik, the female terrorist in the San Bernardino attack.

WASHINGTON — Tashfeen Malik, who with her husband carried out the massacre in San Bernardino, Calif., passed three background checks by American immigration officials as she moved to the United States from Pakistan. But none uncovered what Ms. Malik had made little effort to hide — that she talked openly on social media about her views on violent jihad.

She said she supported it. And she said she wanted to be a part of it.

American law enforcement officials said they recently discovered those old — and previously unreported — postings as they pieced together the lives of Ms. Malik and her husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, trying to understand how they pulled off the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil since Sept. 11, 2001. Two reports from Europe highlight the ongoing concerns of additional terror threats.  In the first report from Switzerland the Swiss authorities have arrested two Syrian males traveling in a vehicle containing trace explosives:

(Via AP) GENEVA — Two Syrians arrested in a vehicle containing traces of explosives have not been clearly linked to four men with suspected ties to the Islamic State group who are wanted by Swiss authorities, the Geneva prosecutor said Saturday.

The arrests of the two Syrians on Friday came amid stepped-up police patrols in Geneva. Authorities raised the security vigilance level and announced a hunt for at least four suspects allegedly linked to IS who were believed to be plotting a “specific” attack in the city.

Might be important, maybe not…

CALIFORNIA – FOX 11 Photographer Julio Duran says “Hal, they’ve got something.” He was talking about FBI divers looking for any scrap of evidence that may have been tossed in Seccombe Lake in San Bernardino.

The FBI said Thursday it got a lead that Syed Farook and Tasheen Malik had been seen here the day they killed 14 people and injured 22 others in a massacre at the Inland Regional Center (IRC) a week ago Wednesday.

Again, we don’t know what that is. The FBI isn’t saying. But, there have been reports divers may be looking for a hard drive or some kind of electronic equipment. (more…)

This sickening story is wrong on so many levels.  First a woman is beaten, brutalized and raped by an Islamist while no-one tries to stop it.  Then, to make matters worse the Islamopologist media allow the rapist’s family to make excuses for him.

( Via LA TIMES ) FBI investigators on Friday were expected to continue their days-long search of a lake in San Bernardino for electronics discarded by the shooters in last week’s deadly terrorist attack. But whether any devices were actually left behind and what value they might hold remains unclear.

David Zimmerman, chief executive of Clearwater, Fla.-based data recovery firm LC Technology International, said investigators have a strong chance of accessing the data from any water-submerged digital devices even if they’ve been in there for more than a week.  (link)

They’ve now been ‘MISSING’ four days !!

The police and FBI would NOT be releasing their identities if this was NOT a security threat.  This release increases the likelihood there is something very sketchy afoot…

(Via AJC) The names and passport photos of two missing Afghan national air force students were released Thursday. But there’s still no sign of the two men, last seen Friday on Moody Air Force Base.

The men have been identified as Mirwais Kohistani and Shirzad Rohullah, Channel 2 Action News reported. The two are among a group of 23 from Afghanistan who have been at the base since February and both are assigned to the 81st Fighter Squadron.

But a federal investigation was launched when Kohistani and Rohullah but did not show up for work Monday, Moody said in an emailed statement. (more…)

(Via ABC News)  With the U.S. and other countries on high alert for ISIS attacks, American authorities are warning the terror group’s followers may have infiltrated American borders with authentic-looking passports ISIS has printed itself with its own machines, according to an intelligence report obtained by ABC News.

The 17-page Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Intelligence Report, issued to law enforcement last week, says ISIS likely has been able to print legitimate-looking Syrian passports since taking over the city of Deir ez-Zour last summer, home to a passport office with “boxes of blank passports” and a passport printing machine. Another passport office was located in Raqqa, Syria, which has long been ISIS’s de facto capital. (more…)

Against an increasingly obvious level of support for a common sense freeze on Muslim immigration the progressive apparatchik within the bowels of NBC/WSJ rush to the typeset to deflect the damage.

We’ve written extensively before about pollster Mark Murray, NBC, and their agenda-polling promotion, so there’s no reason to re-hash that again.  However, the latest attempt is so far beyond absurd the light from where absurd emanates won’t catch it for a year.

NBC broadcasts a poll showing 57% of Americans opposing candidate Donald Trump’s proposal to halt Muslim immigration until our political representatives can figure out “what the hell is going on“. (more…)
