For followers of the Libyan fiasco, and we are not talking about Benghazi, the irony behind Dear Leader and Susan Rice’s recent statements on South Sudan is, well, beyond rich.

[…]  In a letter to Congress, Obama said that about 46 U.S. troops were deployed Saturday to help evacuate Americans. That’s in addition to another 45 troops deployed to reinforce the U.S. Embassy in Juba.

[…]  Earlier Sunday, Obama was briefed by advisers on events in South Sudan following a meeting that his national security adviser, Susan Rice, held with national security aides and U.S. personnel still in South Sudan.

[…]  “I may take further action to support the security of U.S. citizens, personnel, and property, including our Embassy, in South Sudan,” Obama wrote. (link)

I’m just going to cut this down to brass tacks.
The latest international storylines seem to be revolving around chaos reigning supreme in South Sudan.    Over the weekend four members of the U.S. military were shot by machine gun fire as they attempted to evacuate the R2P crowd of U.S. do-gooders.

Fair enough.    But why is the media avoiding the brutally obvious?    Oh yeah, wouldn’t want to actually connect dots and seem all conspiracy minded.
Then again, failure to talk about the 20,000+ missing Libyan missiles, and massive stockpiles of missing WMD (gas et al), does not protect you from the reality of it. (more…)

If Dick Cheney was Darth Vader what exactly is President Barack Obama?  
Fourteen people in a wedding party were accidentally killed last week by a U.S. drone strike in Yemen.    The U.S.-based Human Rights Watch reported in October that at least 57 civilians have been accidentally killed by missiles fired from the unmanned aircraft.  In May of 2012 the New York Times reported that President Obama personally approves of every single strike that takes place in Yemen.

May I ask why this is such a controversy ?   We all knew the impetus for OBL’s hatred of The United States was driven, in part, by his anger about being ostracized in Saudi Arabia for his vocal opposition to Saudi asking the U.S. for help when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait and visibly threatened to drive his Republican Guard South into Saudi Arabia.

OBL was angry with the kingdom’s decision to align with the U.S. for protection – OBL was a Saudi National with massive internal support within the region.   So why would it be a shock that those OBL aligned elements within the house of Saud would be part of the 911 attacks?

The bigger question is: who, or what, benefits from this public discussion being injected into our body politic at this specific moment?

But the White House never let it see an entire section of Congress’ investigative report on 9/11 dealing with “specific sources of foreign support” for the 19 hijackers, 15 of whom were Saudi nationals.

Twelve hours after President Obama announces a John Kerry brokered deal with Iran the international community responds.

(Via Heritage)   Last week’s closed-door testimony by five CIA operatives who witnessed the attack on the U.S. special mission in Benghazi has finally created an opening for the congressional investigating committees.

The five CIA contractors, who testified in closed-door hearings before the House Intelligence Committee Thursday and Friday, were stationed at the “CIA annex” in Benghazi, about one mile from the U.S. special diplomatic mission. This was the facility that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tasked Ambassador Chris Stevens to turn into a permanent consulate, even though security staff there was totally inadequate. It’s bad enough to know confirmation exists of Al Shabbab Islamic terrorists having crossed the U.S. Mexico border;  but to know we are allowing immigration through traditional processes is, well, beyond alarming.

Several dozen suspected terrorist bombmakers, including some believed to have targeted American troops, may have mistakenly been allowed to move to the United States as war refugees, according to FBI agents investigating the remnants of roadside bombs recovered from Iraq and Afghanistan. 

(Via ABC News)  Two al Qaeda-Iraq terrorists were discovered living as refugees in Kentucky in 2009. The men later admitted in court that they’d attacked U.S. soldiers in Iraq, ABC News reported.
The investigation showed that Waad Ramadan Alwan was mistakenly allowed to resettle in Bowling Green, home to Western Kentucky University and very close to the Army’s Fort Knox and Fort Campbell. (more…)

Israel is working with the Saudis and  France is considering the option of aligning with the Middle East powers – Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt – which challenge President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry’s race for détente with Tehran.

Mossad agents met with senior level Saudi officials to formulate a joint attack on Iran, in case the talks between the world powers and Iran fail, the Sunday Times reported. “The Saudis are decisive in confronting Iran and the Israelis are ready to provide the help they need,” a senior level official told the newspaper. Does anyone, beside me, find it curious that U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens was meeting in closed door sessions with Rep. Mike Rogers and the House Intelligence Committee prior to his assassination in Benghazi Libya ?   (story here)   What was that about ?

John Kerry says that “President Obama has prosecuted al-Qaeda with unprecedented intensity”.   I swear; he did, he said that – we have video to prove.
Yet, al Nusra Front (aka al-Qaeda in Syria) are now considered on “our team”, and Kerry says they are the “best fighters”.   In Afghanistan, at Obama’s behest, we are now negotiating with Taliban (aka. al-Qaeda in Afghanistan).  And lest we forget Benghazi, Libya, and our dead Ambassador, Chris Stevens, and three other Americans, where not a single al-Qaeda terrorist has been held to account.
…. President Obama is prosecuting al-Qaeda?   Uh-huh.   And Chris Christie is “Conservative”.   Gotcha.

There are many people talking about President Obama and Secretary of State, John Kerry, being so willing to sell out Israel by negotiating with Iran.
Indeed a deal to let the Iranians’ off the sanction hook was damn near pulled off, were it not for the French.
Yes, you read that right, France – the quasi socialist fromage’ nation which has elected an avowed Socialist to it’s head, yet the body electorate is increasingly returning to nationalism.  Go figure…..
…..But, well, then again, we have a right-of-center U.S. electorate body right here who have re-elected a self aware socialist in our White House.   Strange times, strange times.  I must digress.
The point is – were it not for France, President Obama and John Kerry would have given the Iranian Mullahs a win.   Why?
Despite the geo-political international 3-D chess game which might be sold as an explanation, nothing could be further from the truth.   Obama just needed a win – any win.
When you look historically at five year Political Obama, when the media pundits line up to deconstruct him [see obamacare] he will pull off a distraction for no other reason than to put a perceived BIG DEAL in his immediate resume’.
The deal is given a bold headline so the resume’ reader does not note the failure just afore it. (more…)
