(SUN UK ) THE nurse who took a prank call from two Australian  DJs asking about the  pregnant Duchess of Cambridge has been found dead this  morning.

Mum-of-two Jacintha Saldanha, 46, is believed to have committed suicide as  police are not treating the death as suspicious.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge issued a statement saying they were “deeply  saddened” by the death of Jacintha, described by the hospital as an “excellent  nurse” who was “well respected and popular” with colleagues.

A statement from the family of the tragic nurse said they are “deeply  saddened  by the loss of our beloved Jacintha”. (more…)

Pauley was told to watch the directional run-off trench they dug to divert the pump flow.  His job was to insure the velocity of water (approximately 3000 gal/min) did not eat away at the man-made levees directing the water.   Got it?……

Just because this week sucked:

Yesterday I was at my local Wal-Mart buying a large bag of Purina dog chow for my loyal pet, Jake, the Wonder Dog –  I need to fill his holiday dog feeder as I am leaving for a little while.
I was in the check-out line when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think I had an elephant?

So because I’m retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn’t have a dog, I was starting the Purina Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn’t, because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I’d lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.
