We now have a pretty good understanding of who, what, where, and why surrounding the 9/11/12 attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi Libya. We are also better positioned to understand why, or perhaps more importantly why not, certain actions were taken before, during, and in the immediate aftermath of the attack itself.

We know from the Bret Baier interview with Hillary Clinton that she was physically located at her 7th floor office in Washington DC on the night of the attack. Unfortunately we also know during the November 2012 Thanksgiving holiday a mysterious fire took place in that building. Well, actually directly above her exact office – cause undetermined.
A “fire” which preceded an unfortunate slip and fall for the Secretary, resulting in a concussion, which led to the discovery of a blood clot, that ultimately delayed her congressional testimony before a Senate Hearing into the events of the night in question.
We know the Libyan uprising began on February 10th of 2011, and we also know that sometime around the end of February 2011 President Obama signed a presidential directive authorizing the State Dept and CIA to begin a covert operation to arm the Libyan “rebels”.
We know the “rebels” were positioned in two strategic places. Benghazi, and the port city of Darnah, both located in Eastern Libya.
We know this covert operation came to be known as “Operation Zero Footprint“, and fell under the military command authority of NATO not (important to repeat), NOT, the U.S. Military. (more…)
I saw this picture earlier of Corporal William ‘Kyle’ Carpenter receiving the Congressional Medal of Honor from President Obama. The opposing values of “self” exemplified within the picture struck me with such force, the only thing I could do was pray.

HEAVENLY FATHER, with a humble heart and a thankful spirit we approach You in prayer.
We thank You for our country, our Constitution, and our military and political leaders.
We pray for the President, and for every elected and appointed official who serves.
We pray that You will build a spiritual wall of protection around the marriage and family of every national, state, and local minister.
We pray that You will give them the wisdom and the courage to uphold a Constitution which establishes a republic based on Your absolute laws, not a democracy based on the changing whims of man’s reasoning.
WASHINGTON DC – The roommate of released U.S. soldier Bowe Bergdahl testified Wednesday about the freed soldier’s questionable mental state and demanded that Bergdahl be prosecuted as a deserter for the “ultimate betrayal” of allegedly leaving his post in Afghanistan and endangering fellow U.S. troops.
This original information appeared in 2010 as a result of the discoveries within the Wikileaks 400,000 page document dump. I’m reposting it again today because someone must keep history accurate. The information below is totally divergent from what the media writing of history proclaims. It is good to know truth, the historical truth, and not the spin placed upon us by the media machine(s). And if you ever find yourself in one of those conversations with a prog who claims “George Bush lied”, well, you can put them straight. Read on……
The WikiLeaks de facto declassification of privileged material makes it case closed: Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction — and intended to restart his program once the heat was off.
President George W. Bush, in the 2003 State of the Union address, uttered the infamous “16 words”: “The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.”
Former Ambassador Joe Wilson sprang into action and, in an op-ed piece, in effect wrote, “No, the Cheney administration sent me to investigate the allegation — and I found it without merit.” (more…)
New York Times. . . Cowering politicians now even seem to regret their initial burst of joy that a prisoner was coming home. “A grateful nation welcomes him home,” said Representative Lee Terry, Republican of Nebraska, in a Twitter message on Sunday. The statement on his website was deleted a short time later. “Warmest regards to his family with gratitude for his/their service and sacrifice,” wrote Representative Stephen Lynch, Democrat of Massachusetts, in another quickly deleted tweet.
This duck-and-cover response is the result of the outrageous demonization of Sergeant Bergdahl in the absence of actual facts. Republican operatives have arranged for soldiers in his unit to tell reporters that he was a deserter who cost the lives of several soldiers searching for him. In fact, a review of casualty reports by Charlie Savage and Andrew Lehren of The Times showed there is no clear link between any military deaths and the search. (more…)
To commemorate the Allied invasion of Europe, which began 70 years ago today, one of my favorite speeches, delivered thirty years ago at Pointe du Hoc, Normandy, by Ronald Reagan. The text can be found in this Wall Street Journal article from yesterday, here. June 5 was the 10th anniversary of Ronald Reagan’s death.
