Dear: Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage and those of your similar professional circle.

After the fiasco that was Mitt Romney, for over two years each of you -at one point or another- have called for the broader conservative electorate, the generalized “right” or “center-right”, to unite in support behind one candidate who can defeat the leftist advancement and larger progressive agenda.

While railing at “drive-bys“, “corporate interests“, “manufactured politics” and various catch phrases, you have engaged a national audience and delivered opinion.

Did you actually mean it ?

.… Or was that all BULLSHIT ? (more…)

Wow.  Carl Icahn is putting $150 million toward creating his Super-PAC which will target political policy aimed to stop U.S. corporate business inversions, and promote repatriation of money held offshore.

carl icahnIcahn is a very good friend of Candidate Donald Trump and one of the few pro-U.S. billionaires who believe in American exceptionalism.

Icahn and Trump are part of a rare club of business leaders who, while being part of the billionaire investor class, are more Pro-Main Street than Wall Street.

(VIA REUTERS)  Billionaire investor activist Carl Icahn tweeted on Wednesday that he is forming a Super PAC with an initial commitment of $150 million, representing the biggest one-time injection of money in the history of such political action committees.

Icahn, who supports presidential candidate Donald Trump, said he is targeting “inversions,” which occur when a company changes its domicile, often outside the United States, to take advantage of lower tax rates elsewhere. (more…)

Father Crushed By Boulder In Idaho Saved by Quick Thinking 13-Year-Old Boy Scout Son….

Remarkable and uplifting story of how a 13-year-old boy scout helped his Father survive three days in the wilderness and hiked out to get help.
idaho hero 2Weighing in at 90lbs and carrying a 40lb backpack, 13-year-old Charlie Finlayson not only had the presence of mind to stabilize his seriously injured dad – he also knew exactly how to survive.

IDAHO – […]  The 52-year-old mountaineer and his son were camped at Ship Island Lake in the Bighorn Crags of the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness northwest of Challis. On Aug. 17, the two were scouting a climbing route when a boulder rolled off the mountainside. They hadn’t started climbing and don’t know what dislodged the big rock.

“Dumb luck. It didn’t come off too far above me, so it wasn’t rolling too fast,” Finlayson said.

But the refrigerator-size boulder knocked him off the ledge, and he tumbled 20 to 30 feet down the mountain. (more…)

Excellent Article – "See Something, Do Something"…

Excellent Op-ed in USA Today by Glenn Reynolds: “See something, do something” (excerpt) […]  Stone was cut by the attacker behind his neck, and his thumb was nearly sliced off as the man was wrestled to the ground by the Americans. Sadler said: “The gunman pulls out a box cutter and slices Spencer a few times.” He added that the attacker “never said a word.”
spencer stone hospitalTo Americans who remember Sept. 11, 2001, this kind of response even down to the “let’s go” echoes the story of Todd Beamer and the passengers of Flight 93. It’s the right response, of course, to terrorists who threaten innocents.
As Brad Todd wrote days after 9/11, it was the response of ordinary Americans on this flight that meant a repeat of the attacks was much less likely: “Just 109 minutes after a new form of terrorism the most deadly yet invented came into use, it was rendered, if not obsolete, at least decidedly less effective. … United Flight 93 did not hit a building. It did not kill anyone on the ground. … Why? Because it had informed Americans on board who’d had 109 minutes to come up with a counteraction. And the next time a hijacker full of hate pulls the same stunt with a single knife, he’ll get the same treatment and meet the same result as those on United Flight 93. Dead, yes. Murderous, yes. But successful? No.” (read more)
