A friendly reminder of Civics 101 for the Democrats who visit this site

The role of the Executive Branch is to “ENFORCE” existing laws.   ENFORCE THEM not determine which should be enforced and which should not based on political ideology.   Constitutionally, President Obama cannot just pick and choose which laws to carry out because he personally doesn’t like them. 
The fundamental aspects of Arizona’s SB1070 immigration bill were upheld in a Supreme Court Decision today, delivering another substantial blow to the White House and President Obama.
But what President Obama did in response to his defeat today is once again reflective of how petulent and childish this community organizer is.   How this man-child ever made it to hold the office of chief executive is beyond my comprehension.
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer celebrated the Supreme Court’s ruling Monday on her state’s tough immigration law, calling the court’s decision a “victory for the rule of law.” (more…)

WASHINGTON – When Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida was tapped last year to lead the Democratic National Committee, it seemed like the latest ascension for a fast-rising star destined for even higher positions. Some stumbles and an apparent falling out of favor with the White House had changed that calculus. Now it looks like it could be changing again.

Talk is that Wasserman Schultz will not be asked to serve another term at the DNC, regardless of whether she helps President Obama win a second term. Yet the native New Yorker could use that to her advantage, as she reportedly now has her eye on a House leadership post — perhaps even the highest. (more…)

Despite cobbling together a coalition consisting of just about every minority, this administration is clearly signaling its desperation with this latest trial balloon:  mandatory voting.  Dear Leader already knows you and I will crawl on hands and knees through broken glass to make it to the voting booths, but he’s obviously not so sure he can get his voters to show up.  Just how is he planning to enforce mandatory voting?  Will he make receiving welfare payments, or your food stamp allotment contingent on proof of voting?  I bet there’s another executive order coming down the pike.

(CBS News) — Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation “Fast and Furious” to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.
In Fast and Furious, ATF secretly encouraged gun dealers to sell to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels to go after the “big fish.” But ATF whistleblowers told CBS News and Congress it was a dangerous practice called “gunwalking,” and it put thousands of weapons on the street. Many were used in violent crimes in Mexico. Two were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent. (more…)

The photos reveal an intimate relationship between Obama’s mother and his childhood mentor.  Perhaps, just perhaps, her teenage years in Marxist Schools in Oregon will soon surface?   Ya, never know…..

The photos, taken at Frank Marshall Davis’ house in Honolulu, appeared in Bizarre Life, Exotique, Secret Pleasures, and Battling Babes. They help illustrate the intimate relationship between Dunham and Davis. “My father was from Kenya, he grew up herding goats,” Barack Obama told the cheering crowds. Did Obama build his political career upon a fairy tale? Was Obama misdirecting Americans away from a deeply disturbing family background and a Marxist political foundation?

Obama’s version of his early childhood is false — the family did not split up when the Kenyan Obama went to Harvard as he claimed. All evidence points to a “sham” marriage to cover up an illicit affair. Barack Obama began regular visits to Frank Marshall Davis’ house at the age of 10, and Obama refers to Frank Marshall Davis throughout his autobiography as his childhood “mentor.”

However, if you are open-minded, well versed in the consequential multi-dimensional politics of our time, and aware that little – if anything – ever happens in the abstract, then perhaps you might enjoy digging further.
There is a big picture here;  a big uncomfortable picture, and in fairness to everyone it needs to be discussed in the brightest sunlight.
To begin I will acknowledge that some TreeHouse members are/were slightly or perhaps even more than moderately annoyed at the level of focus placed upon the Trayvon Martin case by our refuge.  Indeed, it is has been a quite extensive and time-consuming endeavor, not by mere happenstance or by dismissive intention, but more by necessity.
