We’ve been tracking this for more than 3 years…. No-one is paying much attention, but they will – VERY SOON.    Without a doubt the “rebels” in Syria are now fully engaged al-Qaeda, or radical Islamist operatives, from multiple geographies.

We have highlighted some Syrian ground reports which outline how their cause was hijacked in Jan/Feb 2012 by the flood of al-Qaeda operatives flowing from the previous conquest(s) in Egypt/Libya.

Now the First of Two reports which should alarm EVERYONE.

First…. BEIRUT (AP) — Syrian rebels strengthened their hold Thursday on an oil-rich province bordering Iraq, activists said, capturing a key military base that was considered one of the last bastions for President Bashar Assad’s loyalists in the strategic region.

The reported fall of the Mayadeen base, along with its stockpiles of artillery, caps a series of advances in Deir el-Zour including last week’s seizure of a military airport. (more…)

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accepted a brokered peace deal by Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood President Morsi after meeting with US SOS Clinton.  This, despite 70% Israeli support for continued self-defense against attacks from Hamas in the Gaza Strip.  The cease fire was set for 9pm Tel Aviv time (3pm EST) – during first hour rocket attacks from Gaza Strip continued.

WH says Pres Obama urged Netanyahu to agree to the Egyptian ceasefire proposal while reiterating Israel's right to defend itself.

FUBAR – Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal said the deal included an agreement to open all border crossings with the Gaza Strip, including the important Rafah crossing with Egypt. A copy of the deal obtained by The Associated Press appeared to be somewhat vague about the details on the crossings. (more…)

The group who took victory laps around the Blood Slaughtered American Bodies in Benghazi have organized their visible self in, wait for it,…… Egypt.   Go Figure.

EGYPT – Ansar al Sharia Egypt has published its founding statement online. The group says that “preaching and jihad are two wings that are indispensable to the spread of Islam,” according to a translation prepared by the SITE Intelligence Group. And the group outlines sixteen goals with that two-pronged approach in mind.

In addition to calling for the implementation of sharia law, and the resurrection of the Caliphate, the organization says it will work towards “the liberation of the Muslim lands from foreign invasion” and resist “modern colonialism, especially the Zionist-Crusader colonialism that is led by America and the West.” (more…)

Hillary arrived in Israel and held a presser in advance of close door meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu.   Bibi says no to ceasefire, Secretary Clinton affirms Israels’ position, then her and Bibi head into a private conversation so she can hear first hand what the details are of Netanyahu’s terms.    With those Israeli terms in hand she will approach Egypt’s President Morsi to leverage Hamas for ceasefire.

Egyptian President Morsi is, in essence, the figurehead leadership of Hamas.  Think about that?   My, how things have changed……   Meanwhile…..  These are the savages who represent Hamas – Hamas terrorists shot a van-load of suspected Israeli “spies” in Gaza.  Then they dragged the body of one of the men through the streets.

IBTimes reported:

Six Palestinian men have been executed after being accused of spying for Israel. After a brief trial, the six alleged informers were executed and dumped in a Gaza street, reports said.

“Their bodies are still there now. Ambulances have been arriving to presumably take them away,” Sky News correspondent Stuart Ramsay said.

The six “were caught red-handed” with high-tech filming equipment to take videos of military positions, according to a security source quoted by the Hamas Aqsa radio. The men were shot. (more…)

Perhaps this Hamas approach will backfire and western journalists will pause before they sell their  insufferable propaganda from Hamas as victim news….. just perhaps.   (Via GWP) Hamas terrorist Muhammed Shamalah disguised himself as a journalist in a car marked TV.  Shamalah’s car was targeted today in a strike in southern Gaza. Muhammed Shamalah didn’t make it. The IDF Blog reported:

When terrorists disguised themselves as civilians, it can only end badly for civilians. Today, a senior Hamas operative was targeted while driving a press vehicle, effectively disguising himself as a reporter. By doing so, he risked the lives of all journalists in the Gaza Strip. (more…)

Despite warnings from various Arab leaders and Turkey that Israel faces a new environment in the changing Middle East, Obama pointed out that conflict between Israelis and Palestinians had been going on long before what he described as “democratization in the region.” […]

Asked in Bangkok whether the Arab spring “has made matters worse,” Obama demurred.

“Let’s just remember that the exact same situation arose just a couple of years ago, before the Arab spring,” he replied, alluding to the 22-day Israeli military operation against Hamas in Dec. 2008-Jan. 2009, also prompted by escalated rocket attacks. (more…)

Everyone now agrees that on Sept 14th the entire intelligence community gave the White House specifics about what was the impetus of the Benghazi attack, al-Qaeda.   Now everyone agrees that on Sept 16th the same White House sent UN Ambassador Susan Rice to talk to the American people specifically removing the Truth and instead blaming a U-Tube video.  In essence, propaganda.

Michael Goodwin at FOX News – Until Friday, there were two possible explanations for why the White House failed to immediately call the Benghazi attack an act of terrorism. One was incompetence, the other was worse.

Now there is only one, and it is the worse one. Based on the persuasive testimony of ex-CIA boss David Petraeus, it is clear the Obama administration made a deliberate decision to mislead Congress and the American people. (more…)

The prog-left hate Michele Bachmann with a passion they reserve only the rarest breed of counter patriot who attack their schemes, lies and corrupt nature head-on.

Bachmann is sometimes not well organized in battle;  She is, after all, in the arena taking strikes from all directions, including the media – and cocktail republicans are insufferably afraid of defending her.   But in this Benghazi regard she is highly accurate:

From beginning to end, the American people are still without knowledge of what happened on that tragic day. The hearings that we have held to this point have not produced answers to the questions that the victims’ families and the American people deserve to have answered.
