Where are the survivors? Why has no-one ever heard from the survivors?…… What did they know, and when did they know it?

There is an interesting compilation of stories from some of the non-U.S. hostages who survived the Algeria terror attack.

JAPAN: One Japanese worker at the plant remains unaccounted for, according to employer JGC.
NORWAY: Five Norwegian employees of Statoil are still missing, the energy company said.
BRITAIN: Two other Britons still missing and feared dead, the UK government said.
UNITED STATES: 3 Americans dead the US has confirmed. A US official said seven American hostages escaped.
MALAYSIA: Two Malaysians are missing, the government says.
PHILIPPINES: Four Filipinos are missing.
Ask yourself this question as you read: “where is the U.S. Press in similar coverage of our guys”? Are they so interested invested in covering for the failed foreign policy of the Obama administration they cannot bring themselves to report on the most horrific of all terror attacks in recent history? The brother of Al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri joined dozens of Egyptian Islamists in a protest Friday near the French embassy in Cairo against French intervention in Mali.

Mohammed al-Zawahiri took part in the demonstration during which protesters accused Paris of being “at war against Islam”. (more…)
(Via MEMRI.org) Several Islamist and jihadi groups have called for a demonstration outside the French embassy in Cairo, in protest over France’s campaign against jihadis in Mali. The demonstration is slated to be held January 18, following Friday prayers. The groups, which include the General Islamic Movement (Al-tayyar al-islami al-‘am), a coalition of Islamist groups; the Hazem Abu Isma’il Ultras; and the Salafi-jihadi movement, have issued their calls via their Facebook pages, among other venues.
Indeed, the Hazem Abu Isma’il Ultras, a group of fanatical fans of the Salafi presidential candidate Hazem Abu Isma’il, issued an invitation to the demonstration on their Facebook page, specifying that is purpose was “to lift the siege from our brothers in Mali and stop the global crime committed against the Muslims there.” The demonstration is set to begin with a procession from a mosque in Giza nearby the French embassy. If you are a person who follows U.S. foreign policy, even tangentially, you must watch this video of Hillary Clinton discussing the terrorist attack / hostage crisis in Algeria:

There is no reasonable doubt, Obama’s decision is a payback for McDonough’s unyeilding loyalty in handling both Fast and Furious and Benghazigate.
The picture of President Obama, Vice-President Biden, Chief of Staff Jack Lew, National Security Advisor(s) Denis McDonough and Tom Donilon, has drawn quite a bit of attention. Not from the main stream media – but from independent-minded research bloggers and seekers of truth.
The backstory that began the research is HERE, and the ultimate unraveling of the riddle behind what was actually taking place is HERE. But the issues that surround the team pictured are larger and even more consequential. (more…)
Pinch me…… This is not a typo, the French, as in France, the country of, are using fighter jets to attack al-Qaeda in North Africa. The French are engaged in active military operations against Islamists in Mali. Did I mention this is France doing this…..
Who would have thought that France would be fighting al-Qaeda and the United States would be providing al-Qaeda weapons (Syria) while claiming they are gone. All the while an American Abassador is dragged through the streets and al-Qaeda flags hoisted atop U.S. embassies, and we do…….. ?
John Kerry for Secretary of State, Chuck Hagel for Defense Secretary, Jack Lew for Treasury and John O Brennan for CIA Director…. Sheeesh…. Wake me up in five years,… but only if I can still buy asprin with dollars.
(Reuters) — French aircraft pounded Islamist rebels in Mali for a second day on Saturday and neighboring West African states sped up their plans to deploy troops in an international campaign to prevent groups linked to al Qaeda expanding their power base.
France, warning that the control of northern Mali by the militants posed a security threat to Europe, intervened dramatically on Friday as heavily armed Islamist fighters swept southwards towards Mali’s capital Bamako. (more…)
Um, toldyaso… The architect of the Oval Office defense behind Fast and Furious, AND the architect of the Benghazi defense, Denis McDonough, is going to be rewarded with the office overlooking the Don Regan patio.
(Via The Hill) President Obama is leaning toward choosing Denis McDonough, currently a deputy national security adviser, as his next chief of staff, sources told Bloomberg.
McDonough, who worked on Obama’s 2008 campaign, is considered deeply loyal to the president. He was a longtime congressional aide who worked for Obama when he was a freshman senator. McDonough also served as foreign policy adviser to then-Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle (S.D.) and legislative director to then-Sen. Ken Salazar (D-Colo.), who is now the secretary of the Interior. (more…)
Considering John O Brennan is nominated to head the CIA, Chuck Hagel is nominated to head the Department of Defense and John Kerry is nominated to be the next Secretary of State. It may seem odd to align the Treasury Secretary pick with them. Odd that is, until you remember:
Prior to his position as President Obama’s Chief of Staff, and prior to him being Obama’s Budget Director (comical considering Obama has never had a budget) Jack Lew served as State Department Director under Hillary Clinton. It was Lew’s influence that shaped and positioned the failed Obama foreign policy toward the Middle East. Specifically toward Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya during their upheavel, the Arab Spring. How has that worked out for our interests ?
President Obama has presented his Chief of Staff, Jack Lew, as his nominee for Treasury Secretary. Make no mistake, this is not a decision made with the economic interests of the United States in mind, this is a highly partisan decision made with the specific intent of finding methonds of spending that will work AROUND congress.
Senator Jeff Sessions is right when he calls Jack Lew a “liar”, but the issues with Lew are far larger than his intentional propensity to mislead:
As the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Lew has spent an inordinate amount of time honing one specific aspect of federal spending. (more…)
President Obama has nominated John O Brennan to be CIA Director. This John O Brennan:
I’m not trying to be an alarmist, but, well…
