The latest PPP poll from North Carolina (full pdf below) shows Donald Trump with a commanding lead over the race and pulling away. In addition, PPP provided every questioner with head-to-head match ups and Trump is resoundingly beating every candidate head-to-head. Cruz, Rubio, Carson,… all of them.
Folks – enjoy this, we are watching a masters’ hand play the insufferable media like a gifted prodigy plays a Stradivarius. It is a thing of beauty.
In response to Donald Trump’s lawful, constitutional, and prudent proposal to halt Muslim immigration the media are actually saying:
…”if you aren’t nice to moderate Muslims they’ll stop being moderate and murder you”..

However, once you get beyond the trained instinct of hysteria, and focus on the substantive request, to: “shutdown Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on” – it actually makes a great deal of sense.
Such a position is really not the least bit controversial, and that’s exactly what makes it so brilliant on many levels.
Of course, if you are not willing to accept the concept of Islamic Jihad – and/or if you are unwilling to accept that Islamic Terrorists have been targeting us for the past decade – well, in that instance Trump’s position might seem controversial. Most recently, a poll from the Center for Security Policy released data showing “25% of those polled agreed that violence against Americans here in the United States is justified as a part of the global jihad” and 51% of those polled, “agreed that Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to Shariah.” Shariah authorizes such atrocities as murder against non-believers who won’t convert, beheadings and more unthinkable acts that pose great harm to Americans, especially women. Washington (CNN) – Donald Trump’s support continues to grow among those who say they are likely to participate in February’s Iowa presidential caucuses and Ted Cruz is on the rise while Ben Carson loses ground in the state, a new CNN/ORC Poll finds.
Overall, Trump has 33% support among likely GOP caucusgoers, followed by Cruz at 20% with Carson at 16%, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio at 11% and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 4%. The new poll shows Trump up 8 points, Cruz up 9, while Carson has faded by 7 points, compared with the last CNN/ORC poll, conducted in late October and early November. (more…)

The exact same pollster “Patrick Murray“, with the exact same polling outfit “Monmouth University”, who conducted the only previous poll to showcase a “surging Ben Carson”, at the exact same time frame (week before debate), who did this twice, has published another, well, almost identical poll, this time for Ted Cruz. Strong in the fail is Mr. Murray.
Now, to fully understand how agenda-driven this pollster is you have to consider: Not only did Mr. Murray present the ONLY poll showing Ben Carson surging in South Carolina, but he’s also the ONLY pollster to previously show Ben Carson with a massive lead in Iowa.
But wait, it gets better. Murray also presented each of his prior agenda-polls, at the exact same moment in time: One week before GOP debate #2, and one week before GOP debate #3. Noticing a pattern?
“yer, outta here like a fat kid in dodge ball”.
This was soooo entirely predictable that a few days ago I told a good cyber friend of the Tree House, who is a great advocate for Ted Cruz, to expect Mr. Murray to work the media narrative on behalf of the political machine.
