The candidacy of Donald Trump has forced the various factions within the GOPe to reinforce their bunkers. Each group now trying desperately to retain their influence and affluence, as each group has experienced sunlight on their intentions.
This is a very positive outcome. Because -as anyone who has ever engaged a large and complex organization will tell you – effective executive leadership first needs to understand the internal working networks within it. This approach includes understanding relationships before effective leverage is applied to modify the organizational goals.
Within the DC UniParty power and self-serving financial influence groups we generally find:

• Donohues Clan – Those who encamp with a priority of: The Wall Street agenda, spending, and immigration.  [Ryan, Flake, McConnell, Rubio, McCarthy, Pelosi, Reid, Grassly, Portman, Whitehouse, Murray, Cornyn, Bennet et al].
• The War Mongers – Those who encamp with a priority of global financial benefit from interventionist activity and military contracts [McCain, Graham, Ayote, Corker, Feinstein, Schumer, Durbin, Collins, Blunt, Cotton, Burr, Hatch, Royce, Engel et al].
• The Litmus Clatch – Those who encamp with a priority of Crony-Consitutional / Moral authority [Cruz, Lee, Scalise, Huelskamp, Manchin, Paul et al]

Within the various camps – House and Senate members may blend in/out depending on the days topic and the current political agenda.  Each representative trading votes and support outside their ideological group for favorable future outcomes on subject matter within their preferred circle of influence.

Well, let’s just admit right up front, you could not have a better name than “The Lion Guard“, to organize a biker rally to protect Donald Trump.

(Via KTAR News) PHOENIX — A group of bikers said it plans to protect supporters from possible violence at a Donald Trump rally scheduled to be held in Phoenix on Saturday.
“We’re going to stand between them and any protesters that come onto the property and hopefully protect them from any bodily harm, should it get to that point,” Cindy Perrin with Lions Guard Arizona said.

The rally is expected to begin Saturday about 4 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on the Arizona State Fairgrounds near 19th Avenue and McDowell Road.
The protest will be held at nearby Encanto Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

House Speaker Paul ‘Omnibus‘ Ryan is quoted in a Huffington Post interview as threatening to sue President Trump if he attempted to initiate his proposed halt on Muslim immigration:

“I would sue any president that exceeds his or her powers,” Ryan said in a back-and-forth about Trump’s claims that he could implement a Muslim ban or build a Mexican border wall without congressional approval.

Ryan said he wasn’t sure of the “legal question” of whether Trump could institute a Muslim ban on his own as president. (more)

“I would sue any president that exceeds his or her powers”, Ryan says.  That’s rather strange, because there’s a disconnect.  When President Obama declared his November 2014 “executive action on amnesty” or DAPA, neither Paul Ryan nor any other body of congressional authority attempted to sue the president. Prior to Donald Trump’s energetic speech in Dallas Texas, campaign policy adviser Stephen Miller outlined what’s at stake:

In the aftermath of the Orlando Terrorist Attack only one candidate, Donald Trump, has expressed moral clarity on the substantive issue.  In a speech delivered earlier this week a singular sentence stands out against all others:

[…]  America must unite the whole civilized world in the fight against Islamic terrorism, just like we did against communism in the Cold War… (more)

That sentence identifies a global vacuum.  A missing element just too uncomfortable for President Obama and liberal leaders within multiple Western nations to acknowledge.  From that sentence a clear policy is born.  A missing policy; missing leadership.

I predict that in the coming weeks/months candidate Hillary Clinton and President Obama will be forced to accept and adopt the clarity within Donald Trump’s position.  They’ll simply have to.  Because if they don’t, the voters they need will abandon them in droves.
Neither Hillary Clinton, nor President Obama are willing to admit the transparently obvious: there is a threat from Islamic Terrorism, that directly endangers the core liberal values carried by their own base constituency. (more…)
