The latest example was evident last night on the Erin Burnett show, “Out Front”, when she engaged the Benghazi story with an “exclusive” of sorts.
The progs are proclaiming the gift of Dear Leader responding appropriately to the continuing disaster of Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy. Indeed, yes, it appears that President Obama has actually engaged himself in a Regional Weather Disaster and a Regional emergency response.
Yeah, he’s doing his job. But, *ahem* I hate to be all captain obvious but that is HIS job. The number one job of ANY President is the safety and security of it’s citizenry. So, yeah, he deserves the recognition that he is actually doing his job.
Sad, however, that we have lowered the bar of expectation to such a level we now congratulate the leadership of our nation for doing ‘what they are expected to do’, No? Have “we” lowered the expectation, or did an inept Presidency lower the expectation? (more…)

Congressional Oversight Committee has specific fact-based proof that President Obama collaborated with the Dept. Of Energy to steer green energy/stimulus funding money into Nevada to support Harry Reid’s 2010 election. They openly admit as such.
WASHINGTON – President Obama claims that political considerations did not influence the Energy Department’s green energy loan program, but newly-released internal emails show that his administration subsidized Nevada companies in order to help Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., win his 2010 reelection campaign.
“And these are decisions, by the way, that are made by the Department of Energy, they have nothing to do with politics,” Obama said last week when asked about the green companies that have gone bankrupt despite receiving taxpayer support. (more…)
Mayor Slurpee McDonut does not want the visible admission that his city is looting central. (Daily Mail) Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz has begged for the National Guard to be called in and put a halt to an outbreak of looting after the superstorm.
‘New York Governor Cuomo also acted quickly by activating the National Guard prior to the storm, and I urge him to allocate as many troops as possible to Brooklyn—troops from New York or any other states that can spare them,’ Mr Markowitz said in a statement.’ (more…)

THE HILL – President Obama says he would like to establish a “secretary of Business” if he wins a second term. In an interview with MSNBC, the president said he wants to consolidate a number of business and trade-related agencies, creating a “one-stop shop” for oversight. (more)

Because, well, the Energy Dept has done such a great job of making us “energy independent”; and the Education Department has done such a great job of raising education standards and controlling costs; and the “Commerce Department” has done such a great job of eliminating market barriers and trade restrictions; and the “Regulatory Czar” (Cass Sunstein) has done such a great job of eliminating burdensome regulatory restrictions and red-tape.

For those not keeping track, Ayman Al Zawahiri is the #1 al-Qaeda leader (now that Bin Laden is dead) and he is calling all Muslims to help the Syrian “Rebels”. Yep, it appears the Obama administration is now supporting al-Qaeda….
(Reuters) — Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri has called on Muslims to kidnap Westerners, join Syria’s rebellion and ensure Egypt implements sharia, SITE Monitoring reported, citing a two-part film posted on Islamist websites.
“We are seeking, by the help of Allah, to capture others and to incite Muslims to capture the citizens of the countries that are fighting Muslims in order to release our captives,” he said, praising the kidnapping of Warren Weinstein, a 71-year-old American aid worker in Pakistan last year. On September 11th 2011 a protest took place outside the U.S. embassy in Cairo, Egypt. The protest was organized by Mohammed Al Zawahiri (brother of al-Qaeda’s top leader Ayman Al Zawahiri – Afghanistan) calling for the release of Omar Abdel-Rahman (The Blind Sheik) from prison in Gitmo.
This was not unexpected, not at all. Actually as far back as May 2011 we first outlined the Egyptian demand for his release:
CAIRO (Reuters 4/12/2011) – Hundreds of supporters of a radical Muslim Egyptian cleric called on the United States to release him in a rare public demonstration by Islamists who have become more vocal since President Hosni Mubarak was ousted.
About 400 protesters, most of whom said they belonged to the militant al-Gama’a al-Islamiya group, gathered near the heavily fortified U.S. embassy in downtown Cairo to demand freedom for their spiritual leader Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman. (article) *Note this is 2011
(ViaIPT) [May 2011] The Egyptian government reportedly has asked the United States to release the Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel-Rahman, and send him back to Egypt, according to the Open Source Center, a government clearinghouse of publicly available foreign intelligence. Abdel-Rahman is the former spiritual leader of the Egyptian terrorist organization, Gama’a al-Islamiyya. He is considered the spiritual inspiration behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and is serving a life sentence in connection with a subsequent plot to bomb New York landmarks and tunnels.
