Little Things Swelling Up – Menendez Hookergate Scandal

Ya know something.  We usually don’t use our research skills on the DC Sex Scandals, because, well, quite frankly, they all do it.   But something about this damn CNN interview with Menendez pulling the Weiner routine just irked us.   Why they gotta lie?

It does not take more than a few hours of research to find the hookers/escorts/companions used by both Salomon Melgen (the rich Democrat supporter) and Senator Menendez. Ya, just gotta know where to look for them. Here is one of them on video, yes video.   Her name is Svitlana Buchyk, she also goes by Lana Buchyk. (more…)

Universal Background Checks = Universal Registration – Ann Coulter Interview

Oh, gag-a-maggot…..  I’m forced to violate my own principled six-month-old decision to ignore this Decepticon.  Why? Well, because the message is important.   Yes, as said, there are times when Institutional Republicans can align with freedom-minded conservatives, this, apparently, is one of those times:

“Everything they’re telling you about what they could do about guns is a lie… For some reason Wayne LaPierre is not making this point so you’ll have to hear it from me. Universal background checks means universal registration. Universal registration means universal confiscation, universal extermination. That’s how it goes in history. Do not fall for universal background checks.”

Finally – The Discussion About A “National Gun Registry”: NRA “You Can’t Trust This White House”….

For clarity.  In concession, I personally am not against state-run background checks using all available secure databases.   However, I am vehemently against a national database of actual gun owners. There is a big difference, and one I have yet to see anyone articulate in the public media forums.

Meaning, once you have cleared the “state” background check hurdle, and are able to purchase firearm(s), no-one should know what, how many, or what type you own. Check the background, approve the purchase, and that’s the end of it. No further record keeping.

…. And NO.  No-one should TRUST this administration about this.  NO-ONE.

(The Hill) When pressed by host Chris Wallace on the fact that the White House has said nothing about a universal registry, LaPierre responded, “And ‘ObamaCare’ wasn’t a tax until they needed it to be a tax. I don’t think you can trust these people.” (more…)

Obamacare – Further Down The Slippery Slope….. U.K. NHS Already There…

Remember when we were talking about the enevitable slippery slope of Obamacare in conjunction with the Nanny State mindset, and taken to its logical conclusion?

Doctor ObamaBig brother to log your drinking habits and waist size as GPs are forced to hand over confidential records – GPs are to be forced to hand over confidential records on all their patients’ drinking habits, waist sizes and illnesses.

The files will be stored in a giant information bank that privacy campaigners say represents the ‘biggest data grab in NHS history’. They warned the move would end patient confidentiality and hand personal information to third parties.

The data includes weight, cholesterol levels, body mass index, pulse rate, family health history, alcohol consumption and smoking status.  Diagnosis of everything from cancer to heart disease to mental illness would be covered. Family doctors will have to pass on dates of birth, postcodes and NHS numbers. (more…)

Prog Stupid – CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Flunks Constitution 101 – Tells Sheriff He Must Obey Obama Executive Order…

NOT

Mega fail…. but the progs who don’t pay attention to the constitution, or even have a semblance of understanding of the 10th amendment or division of relegated powers.  Duh.

Discussing gun control, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Friday told a Utah sheriff that if Barack Obama issues an executive order, that order is the law and the sheriff must obey.

However, jurisprudence on this topic reveals exactly the opposite.

As the head of the executive branch of the federal government, a president can issue executive orders only to employees of the federal government—and only regarding implementing federal laws or programs. A governor can likewise issue executive orders to employees of his state government regarding the laws or programs of that state.

Every sheriff is a county officer, elected by the voters of that county. The Supreme Court held in Printz v. U.S. in 1997 that the Tenth Amendment forbids the federal government from ever ordering any state or local official to carry out a federal program. Ironically, that case also involved a sheriff—Jay Printz of Montana—and a federal gun control law.  (continue reading)

Clown Car Level Stupid – ATF Sting Operation In Milwaukee A Total Failure: Machine Guns Missing, ATF Robbed, Tens of Thousands Wasted…

….. and it gets worse, much worse.    These are the people who want to “control” your capacity to own weapons?    Two MUST READ articles.   First the Fox Summary:

ATFWASHINGTON –  Several members of Congress are calling for an investigation into an embarrassing series of blunders made by the Milwaukee arm of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives after a newspaper reported this week that the agency conducted a months-long undercover operation that cost taxpayers thousands of dollars and netted very few results.

“I am intent on getting to the bottom of the botched ATF sting in Milwaukee,” Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., told FoxNews.com Thursday night.

Sensenbrenner along with Sen. Charles Grassley, and Reps. Darrell Issa and Robert Goodlatte, have sent a letter to Acting ATF Director Todd Jones asking the agency to look into allegations reported in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The newspaper claims that the agency conducted a deeply flawed sting operation that resulted in a still-missing machine gun being taken from an agent’s car, thousands of taxpayer dollars being lost in merchandise and angry residents saying that ATF officials reintroduced crime into their neighborhood. The operation comes on the heels of the botched Operation Fast and Furious anti-gun trafficking program. (more…)

Cultural Atlanta – How The BGI Insulates Thug Behavior. One More Example…. Atlanta (video) Celebrating Black History Month

Natalie%20jackson%203 Tweets

You often hear of people who say the various jail and prison systems are breeding grounds for thug-like anti social behaviors for young black men.  The general talking points stem around when a young black man enters the correctional system, the subsequent environment just makes matters worse. Like entering a hierarchial system of organized cage match / MMA fights.

Sybrina-Fulton-Tracy-Martin-trayvonmartin-parentsFew, if any, intellectually honest people are brave enough to admit the breeding ground for “Thug Life” begins far earlier than the engagements with the correctional system. Why, well, because it is a difficult yet obvious conversation.

Obvious because the behaviors are noted much earlier than the first time they are engaged with law enforcement.

Yet difficult, because when you admit it starts much earlier you put the burden of cause upon the parents.

Yet, isn’t that exactly where the burden of cause should lay?

Allow me to present exhibit “A” – Atlanta – New disturbing, yet typical, video footage has emerged showing an altercation at an Atlanta, GA strip mall. Unfortunately, the disturbance ultimately led to a woman being tazered by a security guard. (more…)
