This picture drew quite a considerable backlash. Not from Gun Restriction Advocates, but actually and unbelievably, from gun supporters…… they thought is was an unfair extremist presentation of Brady Gun Ban Supporters…..

You see, before passing restrictive gun laws in Colorado the exact argument (succinctly outlined in the poster) were factually advanced by Colorado Democrats. Why Women Don’t Need Guns: You May “Feel Like You’re Going To Be Raped, When You May Actually Not Be” – So don’t shoot the would be rapist, you might be wrong.
Hey wait, that sounds remarkably similar to the “legitimate rape” argument which famed the Democrat’s “War On Women” campaign…. no, wait…
The Daily Mail has a good roundup of the last moments of Chris Dorner here. Additionally, it does appear the “intent” was to burn him out of the cabin from the sounds and directions of the SWAT team around the building. (video below) But is that really an issue?
Given the fact fugitive Dorner was firing at them, it does not appear they had any option other than to engage with force to stop being shot at. Hence the flaw in comparing this event to Waco when the FBI/ATF had the option to wait. Am I missing something?

The very, very end of the video is also a peek into the mindset of the uber-left world of race driven progs. Listen as someone says “but it’s not ok” [regarding Dorners kill spree] and Lamont waxingly says “meh”…
