The Hard Bigotry of Forced Lower Expectations !

The school is predominantly Black and Hispanic.  Minorities make up more than two-thirds of the student body; Whites / Asians a mere 28%.

The higher academic functioning kindergartners were mostly white/asian.  It was mostly white parents who were engaged with the academic success of their child and enrolling them in the additional gifted program.

Absent of enough high level academically functioning blacks the gifted program lacked diversity.          So the school shut it down.

NEW YORK – A popular gifted program will get the axe after Ditmas Park school officials chose diversity over exclusivity.

Citing a lack of diversity, PS 139 Principal Mary McDonald informed parents in a letter that the Students of Academic Rigor and two other in-house programs would no longer accept applications for incoming kindergartners.

“Our Kindergarten classes will be heterogeneously grouped to reflect the diversity of our student body and the community we live in,” McDonald told parents in a letter posted on the photo-sharing site flickr and obtained by Ditmas Park Corner.

More than two thirds of the school’s roughly 1,000 students are black or hispanic while Asian-American and white students made up 28%, according to Education Dept. records. (more…)

Initially the politically correct and fearful authorities did not want to admit this was a crime of specific intent.   However, once they were going to release the bus video they needed to back-track and admit the actual motive.    If they did not admit the obvious their PC-ism would have been widely recognized by the public.

FLINT, MI – Police say a Mass Transportation Authority bus driver was punched in the face as part of the so-called “knockout game” that’s gained national attention.

The “knockout game” has been blamed for attacks in several cities and involves suspects punching strangers for no reason.

The Flint bus incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, when a man was attacked while driving the bus.

The driver suffered several facial injuries, according to police. Another teen filmed the incident as it took place.

Police originally said the incident occurred because one of the suspects was upset about having to pay a bus fare, but further investigation showed it was a planned attack, said Flint police Capt. Collin Birnie.

“This was planned, orchestrated and filmed,” he said. (more…)

NEW YORK –  […]  “I hit a lady on the head in self-defense,” Baldwin wrote in a statement to police when asked about the Nov. 7 attack, according to court papers.

The women he attacked were between the ages of 20 and 78, cops have said.

Baldwin made similar written statements about self-defense when investigators asked about his attacks on Dec. 7, Dec. 24, and Dec. 26.

“I was passing by a lady using a phone and I hit her head in self-defense because of the way she looked,” Baldwin wrote of the Dec. 27 attack. (more…)

Police state: “he was in the wrong place at the wrong time” as he was surrounded, attacked and shot in the head by four black males.    Codespeak for the Safari Principle:

THE SAFARI PRINCIPLE –   The hidden subtext could be construed as the following… In modern America, a prudent citizen should know to remain in their vehicle, doors locked, windows up, when there are young black males known to be in the vicinity.   

If a white person is shot, or killed, Non-blacks are at fault for not following the rules the police and black grievance industry wrote for them on the Safari Park safety brochure.    The principle underlines the ideological point – those doing the attacking cannot ignore their instincts, control their behavior or comply with laws.

What does this say about our society?   Are we living in a drive through  Safari Park?     If we get out of our vehicles we deserve what we get and we shouldn’t blame the animals, much less shoot them in self-defense?

However, this Indianapolis victim stayed in his car and tried to protect himself – it didn’t work:

A complete and total FUBAR by Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and local Atlanta government.  Thousands of motorists sleep in cars and shops; thousands of students trapped in schools overnight. 

ATLANTA (AP) – Thousands of Atlanta students stranded all night long in their schools were reunited with their parents Wednesday, while rescuers rushed to deliver blankets, food, gas and a ride home to countless shivering motorists stopped cold by a storm that paralyzed the business capital of the South with less than 3 inches of snow.

As National Guardsmen and state troopers fanned out, Mayor Kasim Reed and Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal found themselves on the defensive, acknowledging the storm preparations could have been better. But Deal also blamed forecasters, saying he was led to believe it wouldn’t be so bad.

The icy weather wreaked similar havoc across much of the South, closing schools and highways, grounding flights and contributing to at least a dozen deaths from traffic accidents and a mobile home fire.

Yet it was Atlanta, home to major corporations and the world’s busiest airport, that was Exhibit A for how a Southern city could be sent reeling by winter weather that, in the North, might be no more than an inconvenience. (more…)

(AP) — The gunman who killed two people at a Maryland mall was a teenage skateboarding enthusiast who had no criminal record before he showed up at the shopping center armed with a shotgun, plenty of ammunition and a backpack filled with crude homemade explosives, authorities said Sunday.  (link)

Huh?   “a teenage skateboarding enthusiast who had no criminal record“… boy, the media sure seems to be softening this…. gee, I wonder why?…. Hmmm, lemme think…

I wonder if now that he’s been identified you’ll see another story dropped like a hot potato?

Remember the Pennsylvania College shooting from 5 days ago?…  that story vaporized too once the shooter was ID’d.   I’m still trying to figure out what is it specifically about these shootings the media seems to downplay.   Maybe it’s just the media beginning to like guns; or NOT.

The story will play into the anti-stop/frisk narrative – Heck, it might even be pushed by them, I don’t care – this is a level of brutality and wrongful conduct – even if it happened “by accident”.

PHILADELPHIA, PA –  He was the only one who didn’t run. Now Darrin Manning may never father children after his encounter with a police officer earlier this month.

While on his way to a basketball game after school, the straight-A student and his teammates had an encounter with officer Thomas Purcell.   Apparently one of the teammates may have said a snide remark to the officer, who then approached them. The boys ran, but Manning stopped and stayed. “I didn’t do anything wrong,” he said to Philly.com.

What happened next is hard to believe. Darrin was handcuffed, frisked, and his genitals were pulled and twisted with such force by the female officer that they literally tore off. (more…)

(Via Daily Mail)  George Zimmerman’s recent foray into the art  world hasn’t exactly earned him much critical praise. But it’s definitely  garnered him some attention – so much so that it could potentially get him sued  by one of the largest news-wire services on earth.

For his latest painting, the man acquitted of  murder in the shooting death of unarmed Florida teen Trayvon Martin has painted  a portrait of Florida State Attorney General Angela Corey, who is the woman who  decided to charge Zimmerman with murder in Martin’s death. (more…)

DETROIT (WWJ) – He’s been dubbed the “Blow Torch Rapist” and Detroit police say he’s struck again.

The latest attack occurred just before 7 a.m. Wednesday in a largely abandoned neighborhood near Plymouth and Meyers roads the city’s west side.

A 43-year-old woman told police she was leaving a gas station when a man came behind her and put a gun to her head. The woman said her attacker forced her into a car, ripped off her clothes and began burning her face with a blow torch.

Police say the victim stabbed the man in the eye with a screwdriver and was able to get away and call for help. She’s currently hospitalized in stable condition. (more…)
