Imagine for just a moment what the media would do, or would have done, if, say, Sarah Palin or Rush Limbaugh had written an open letter of support to….. say,…  Eric Robert Rudolph, while he was on-the-run, professing an “understanding of his feelings of hurt and pain” ?

Seriously.    What do you think the media would have done with such a narrative?

Now,…. consider Jesse Jackson pens an open letter to L.A. Shooter Chris Dorner:

Dear Christopher Dorner,

I understand your feelings of hurt and pain. I make this plea to you to stop spreading the pain, the hurt, and the fear. Please stop. Don’t take any more lives.

Christopher, your mother is distraught and deeply concerned for your safety. There are many good and credible people in Los Angeles who will help you. Danny J. Bakewell Sr. (The Los Angeles Sentinel’s Executive Publisher/CEO) ,Bishop Noel Jones, Bishop Kenneth Ulmer and Rev. Charles Singleton are all individuals I know personally. I promise that they will gladly receive you.

I will do whatever I can do for you without hesitation. Please contact me through Danny Bakewell at the L.A. Sentinel.

   Looks like the two ladies involved in the first police shooting have already lawyered up.  Both Emma Hernandez, 71, and her daughter, 47 year old Margie Carranza, have retained attorney Glen T. Jonas, and they’ll soon be filing charges against detectives from the LAPD Hollywood devision, who were reportedly on a protective detail for an LAPD captain and his family named in Dorner’s manifesto.

“There was no warning, there was no orders or no commands… just gunshots,” Jonas told reporters.

He said that police “had the goal of administering street justice” and “didn’t take the time to notice that these two older, small Latina women didn’t look like a large black man.”

“We trust that the LAPD will step up and do the right thing and acknowledge that what they did was unacceptable and we’ll deal with it,” Jonas said.”    (Read more…)

As I write this post,  Christopher Dorner, a former LAPD officer suspected of killing three people, is still at large.  Yesterday, thousands of police offices throughout Southern California and neighboring states searched for the man who warned in a lengthy manifesto that he would target those in the LAPD who had wronged him.  Police went so far as to place more than 40 “protection details” on alert for those threatened by Dorner in his manifesto,  and also pulled officers from motorcycle duty, fearing they would make for easy targets.

“I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in LAPD uniform whether on or off duty,” said the manifesto. It also asserted: “Unfortunately, I will not be alive to see my name cleared. That’s what this is about, my name. A man is nothing without his name.”

But here is the full unedited version (links at bottom) where he adores MSNBC and CNN and Piers Morgan etc.  He talks of Trayvon Martin and Hero Obama etc.    If this was the opposite side of the political spectrum, if he were a conservative, this guy on the loose would be live 24/7 on every TV channel….. but, because the leftists are his heros the media is trying to bury it.

CHICAGO – Sneed has learned a plea deal is now on the table between former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. and federal authorities probing allegations of campaign fund misuse.

Sneed is told the plea deal includes Jackson serving time in federal prison.

“Significant jail time is now definitely a part of the deal,” said a top Sneed source close to the probe.

“But I think [Jackson’s wife] Sandi, feels like she was thrown under the bus by her husband, ” now that a separate probe has begun on her, a second source added. (more…)

On Monday March 19th 2012 The Scheme Team together with ABC’s Matt Gutman set up, and recorded, an audio call with the person Tracy Martin found. A girl, Witness #8, they called her “Dee Dee”.

If you shoot someone in Dear Leader’s hometown, Chicago, you have better than 10 to 1 odds you’ll get away with it.    Only 8% of non-lethal shooters were “charged” in 2011. Only 6% in 2012.   And a much smaller percentage ever reach a conviction.

Shooting Without Consequence

CHICAGO – It’s getting easier to get away with shooting people in Chicago.

Last year, gunmen who shot and wounded someone got away without criminal  charges 94 percent of the time, according to a DNAinfo.com Chicago analysis of  police data.

That’s even worse than 2011, when 91.5 percent of shooters escaped charges,  according to the data.  Chicago’s top cop said the “no-snitch” code of silence on the street is the  biggest contributor in his department’s struggle to charge shooters. (more…)

Each week when the participants in the prosecution of the State of Florida VS. George Zimmerman speak we are astounded that no-one in the legacy media finds enough courage to factually investigate this case.

Specifically, the fraud that is the storyline around Witness #8 “Dee Dee” the supposed girlfriend of Trayvon Martin.

  Initially she was sold to the media on March 20th as a 16-year-old girl, a minor, a sweetheart, who was devastated at the tragic loss of her 17-year-old “puppy love”.   A girl who was on the phone with Trayvon when he encountered George Zimmerman.  Benjamin Crump played an audio recording of her statement proving his claims.   The media ran with that story, and, for the most part, actually still does.

The prosecution then used her *tender age* as a shield of anonymity to protect her from the ruthless hounds of media interest.    (Watch Video)

The State of Florida argued before Judge Lester that her minor status meant she needed additional protections.  This, despite the fact she never once contacted law enforcement, never once called Trayvon’s Mom or Dad, and was essentially non-existent until Trayvon family attorney Benjamin Crump discovered her and presented her story to the world.    Indeed, even Trayvon’s Dad, Tracy Martin, and his Mom, Sybrina Fulton, supposedly had never heard of this “girlfriend”. Given the latest hearing outcomes, it is perhaps prudent to go back and look at the October hearing once again, to visit what was being said about DeeDee, and the recording of her, by Trayvon Family Attorney Benjamin Crump; In court, to Nelson, in October.

It is also worth noting that Judge Nelson formerly “ordered and approved” the deposition of Benjamin Crump as it specifically relates to the “interview and recording” of the Witness #8, DeeDee. Given the court’s prior approval how can Benjamin Crump now seek to avoid ?

Might be also worth noting, in that video segment Judge Nelson erroneously believed the recording of the interview was made “on a telephone” as in the telephone captured and retains the conversation. This was *inferred* by the prosecution to Judge Nelson and when told not to change, alter, or delete the recording “on the phone” Benjamin Crump did nothing to correct the belief, and to the contrary affirmed to the court her mistaken belief.

Additionally, from the motions filed today in Ben Crump’s quest to avoid deposition, which the Judge had already ruled were appropriate, it appears his attorney is again misrepresenting obvious “FACTS” to the court. Example: (more…)
