(Trevor Loudon’s NewZeal Blog) The Washington Post has been greatly embarrassed by the fact that its local editor Vernon Loeb was the ghost writer for the David Petraeus biography by Paula Broadwell and admits he was “clueless” about their sexual relationship. The paper is now making up for lost time.

On Thursday, the Post published an article that debunked claims by Petraeus, who was Obama’s CIA director, that he had never given Broadwell classified information. The story by Carol D. Leonnig, Sari Horwitz and Anne Gearan reveals that Petraeus aides and other high-ranking military officials were often tasked by Petraeus and other top commanders to provide sensitive military documents to Broadwell. Simultaneous to the hot button political issues surrounding Susan Rice and “who changed the Benghazi talking points” to reflect falsehoods and lies…..

….. an unusual fire breaks out, on a long holiday weekend, in the State Department building, in Washington DC, on the Seventh Floor [Office of the Secretary of State], and Eighth Floor [State Reception and only Public Tour venue] ……  You just can’t make this stuff up.

ABC News – Authorities say a fire broke out at the State Department headquarters in Washington, seriously injuring three maintenance workers.

D.C. Fire and EMS spokesman Lon Walls said the fire started at around 11 a.m. Saturday in the ductwork on the 7th floor. Workers were able to put out the fire before firefighters arrived, but not before three people had suffered burns. (more…)

Everyone now agrees that on Sept 14th the entire intelligence community gave the White House specifics about what was the impetus of the Benghazi attack, al-Qaeda.   Now everyone agrees that on Sept 16th the same White House sent UN Ambassador Susan Rice to talk to the American people specifically removing the Truth and instead blaming a U-Tube video.  In essence, propaganda.

Michael Goodwin at FOX News – Until Friday, there were two possible explanations for why the White House failed to immediately call the Benghazi attack an act of terrorism. One was incompetence, the other was worse.

Now there is only one, and it is the worse one. Based on the persuasive testimony of ex-CIA boss David Petraeus, it is clear the Obama administration made a deliberate decision to mislead Congress and the American people. (more…)

The prog-left hate Michele Bachmann with a passion they reserve only the rarest breed of counter patriot who attack their schemes, lies and corrupt nature head-on.

Bachmann is sometimes not well organized in battle;  She is, after all, in the arena taking strikes from all directions, including the media – and cocktail republicans are insufferably afraid of defending her.   But in this Benghazi regard she is highly accurate:

WASHINGTON (AFP) — A Florida socialite at the heart of a scandal that brought down the CIA chief was once asked by him to stop a radio talk show host who was threatening to “deep fat fry” the Koran, US media reported early on Saturday.

That account, which comes from emails sent by socialite Jill Kelley, offers a new glimpse at her relationship with Petraeus and other senior military officials.

In March, a Florida radio talk show host named Todd Alan Clem but known as Bubba the Love Sponge said he was going to “deep fat fry” a copy of the Koran as a stunt, the reports said. (more…)

President Obama said he gave the order to “do whatever it takes to protect our people“.  Was he using the same definition of “our people” as Eric Holder?

The TRUTH  – The entire intelligence community knew that al-Qaeda operatives were the people who were behind the Benghazi attacks that killed Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Ty Woods.   The TRUTH – Susan Rice was specifically and intentionally told to go out on Television and sell a complete line of bullsh!t.   She knew it was a load of crap, and she did it anyway.

So to excuse her intentional lying the White House now shapes the narrative to say she lied, and they told her to lie, because they removed the al-Qaeda truth to protect National Security….   so the lie was excusable.   Or so they claim.   We saw this coming. (more…)

The Media is now in full “protect Obama” mode, trying desperately to excuse the White House from changing the talking points given to them by the “intelligence community”.  The media is trying to explain the unexplainable, excuse the unexcusable, and obfuscate the meaning of intentional lying.

Petraeus confirmed the initial explanations from the intelligence community gave the White House specific information about the cause of the Benghazi Attack being related to al-Qaeda related terrorists.

Why the intelligence was changed, who changed it, and what motive was there for the White House to use an unattached spokesperson, Susan Rice, is still theoretically unadmitted. (more…)
