FACT:  The last federal budget actually signed into law took place in September of 2007 for fiscal year 2008.  It was signed by President Bush.

FACT:  Since then, and due to the Democrat party spending objectives, not a single day of the Obama administration has been with any budget restrictions at all.

FACT:  The ‘spend at will’ Democrats had full control of both houses of congress and the White House for Fiscal Years 2009, 2010, 2011 and they never passed a budget.   The Senate never even proposed one, and the Obama budget proposal only got 2 votes in 2011, and -ZERO- votes in 2012. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – The budget President Barack Obama will submit on April 10 will contain a proposal that would prohibit individuals from accumulating more than $3 million in Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and tax-preferred retirement accounts.

According to a White House statement, the Obama administration believes the current rules allow some wealthy individuals “to accumulate many millions of dollars in these accounts, substantially more than is needed to fund reasonable levels of retirement saving.”

“The budget would limit an individual’s total balance across tax-preferred accounts to an amount sufficient to finance an annuity of not more than $205,000 per year in retirement, or about $3 million in 2013,” the statement said. “This proposal would raise $9 billion over 10 years.”  (read more)

“Your guess is as good as mine,” David Montoya, the inspector general of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, says of $700 million in missing taxpayer money that Louisiana homeowners were given in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to elevate and protect their homes from future storms.

A new report released from the inspector general’s office shows that more than 24,000 homeowners who received grants of up to $30,000 to elevate their homes either misspent or pocketed the money.

“The fact of the matter is that the money they received was for a specific purpose and the specific purpose was to elevate these homes to avoid future catastrophes,” Montoya tells Power Players.

He rates the home elevation program as little more than a complete failure. (more…)

(Via Freedomworks)  I am currently in my freshman year of high school and the incidents are happening more frequently and I believe are more severe.  As you can imagine, the ongoing pressure and bullying has been disturbing to me, my friends and my family.

Just before the 2010 Midterm election, I was on the front page of the local newspaper for my political volunteer work and my teachers noticed. One of my seven teachers made it very clear that she dissaproved of my civic engagement. In a period of two months, my Geography teacher frequently would take me aside after school for a few minutes and tell me how stupid, wrong and misguided I was for being Republican. The harassment with this specific teacher got so bad, I had to switch schools halfway through the year.  At this time I was only 12 years old. To my knowledge, this teacher was not disciplined at all for her actions. (more…)

Washington Times – A court may have shot down French President Francois Hollande’s attempt to stick the wealthy with a 75 percent tax on earnings above a certain amount. But he’s not giving up. Mr. Hollande’s new plan: Stick the 75 percent tax on businesses.

Companies — not individuals — would have to pay the high tax on any salaries that are paid over a million euros, under Mr. Hollande’s latest proposal, Newsmax reports.

“I am sticking by my pledge,” Mr. Holland said, as quoted in Newsmax.

The Socialist leader is trying to reignite a sluggish economy — as he promised during his campaign — but is facing dwindling poll numbers and approval ratings. His recent attempt to tax wealthy at a 75 percent rate was denied in a constitutional court.  (read more)

Vacations to Aspen Colorado, Golfing with Tiger Woods, but yet he can’t get a budget finished and submitted to Congress?    Federal Law requires the President’s budget be submitted by the first Monday in February.   Consequently, it’ll be the most tardy, and unlawful, submission of Presidential Budget Priorities in the history of Budget Proposals.

We are so broke Obama needs to close the White House, our house, from our visits, yet Vice-Prez Biden can spend $600,000+ on one day limo rides, and now this….

(CNN) – If you think Paris is expensive, the City of Light costs a lot more when you’re traveling with the vice president.  Recent documents posted to a government website give a rare glimpse of Vice President Joe Biden’s overseas travel expenses.

Official business took him last month to Europe, a trip that included a bill of $585,000 for his one-night stay in Paris.

Also on the receipt was $321,665 for a limousine company and $459,338.65 for a hotel stay in London.

And while Biden was only in each town for one night, the London hotel bill, for example, included 136 rooms for multiple nights for his advance team, according to the documents posted on the website for Federal Business Opportunities and unearthed by the conservative magazine, The Weekly Standard. Watching how the Grievance Industrialist Jesse Jackson uses language to divide, obfuscate, ignore and avoid the reality of his own ideology is laughable.

An all black historically corrupt city council, together with a black mayor, in a predominently black city, have run the place into the ground.   [The race of the aforementioned is noted only because of the approach by 2-J’s]  Now 2-J’s has the nerve to say an emergency city manager (also black), designed to try and save the city, is the equivalent of a plantation owner because he is appointed by a white governor:

“As opposed to having a city council that’s democratically elected and a mayor, you’ll have a plantocracy, a plantation-ocracy, replacing a democracy,” Jackson said.

If you are thinking about taking a casual stroll to the grocery store in Cyprus today you might need to stop by the local ATM machine to get some euros.   Considering the banks have been closed since last Friday, more than likely you, along with everyone else, are out of cash.

However, you might want to consider taking along a helmet, gloves, body armor and perhaps a gas mask, as getting to the ATM machine might be a little more troublesome than one might initially presume. (more…)
