Time to connect the dots, again.  Treehouse Research – Going Deep.

While attending Occidental University, 1979 – 81′, young Barack Obama meets a former Jimmy Carter administration official Zbigniew Brzezinski.  Brzezinski is a key CIA asset and expert on Russia.   He later becomes a mentor, and then much later a foreign policy advisor to President Elect Obama.

Obama is friends with three Pakistani college roommates, muslims, Mohammed Hasan Chandio, Wahid Hamid, and Indian Vinai Thummalapally.   In the summer of 1981 Obama travelled with his friends to Pakistan.

Brezinski was deeply involved in the U.S. aspects to support Osama Bin Laden against the Russians in Afghanistan.   Pakistan was the base of operations against the Russians in support of the Mujahadeen.  Simultaneous to this time Brezinski is in Pakistan / Afghanistan, so is John Brennan as part of his CIA duty.

BEAR WITH ME – Obama goes to Pakistan in the summer of 1981 and then for some reason there is a gap in his historical references and timeline.  He does not reappear until the fall of 1982 attending Columbia (?) – or so the story is told, where he graduated in May of 1983.   (This timeline has always been a thorn in my psyche of reconciliation). Now that President Obama has done what we expected him to do, albeit 5 years later than expected, it is important to remember exactly who John O Brennan is and what questions existed in 2008/09′.

As the New York Times published Monday:

WASHINGTON — President Obama’s nomination on Monday of John O. Brennan as director of the Central Intelligence Agency puts one of his closest and most powerful aides in charge of an agency that has been transformed by more than a decade of secret wars.  (link)

John O. Brennan, Obama’s top terrorism and intelligence adviser is the owner of The Analysis Corp., the firm that was cited in March 2008 for penetrating the files of presidential candidates Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and John McCain in the State Department’s passport office.

You keep hearing *them* in the gun control movement use the term “no-one is saying that” in regard to complete gun confiscation.   Why?  Because they need to seem more moderate than the argument they support.   Yes, indeed people are saying that…. yes.

Essentially… The Last Refuge (Treehouse) position has been sharing information, and connecting dots about gun control, based on historical research references into the ideological goals of the progressive left surrounding President Obama.

While we each have individual opinions on all the various aspects of gun ownership, that point, meaning our opinion, is essentially moot in regard to sharing this information.   The aspect we share is predictive in nature – meaning:

• ‘who are they’
• ‘what are they doing’
• ‘why are they doing it’, and…
• ‘what they will do’.

The economy, jobs, homelessness, hunger, inflationary impact of a diminished dollar, housing, energy costs, the price of gasoline, burdensome tax rates and a nation in financial crisis are irrelevant to President Obama.   FIRST, ACCEPT THAT.   They do not care about that stuff – it is an annoyance and irrelevant to the “why” behind their goals. “The president is going to act,” said Biden, giving some comments to the press before a meeting with victims of gun violence. “There are executives orders, there’s executive action that can be taken. We haven’t decided what that is yet. But we’re compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required.”

But you need a more heavy leverage to justify Executive Orders which circumvent legislation. Enter Joe Biden: Washington (CNN) – Vice President Joe Biden described his gun control effort as a “moral issue” when meeting with gun safety advocates and mass shooting victims on Wednesday morning.

“When I think of all the tragedies that we have endured, I don’t think anything has touched the heart of the American people so profoundly as seeing those and learning of those young children not only being shot but riddled with bullets,” he said, referring to the December 14 shooting at the elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut.  (more)

Dear Mr. Security Agent, Federal, state, or local. You, the man or woman with the badge, the sworn LEO or FLEA and those who inhabit the many law enforcement niches in between and on all sides. This essay is directed to you, because in the end, how this turmoil about gun control turns out will depend largely upon your decisions and actions over the coming months and years.

I sincerely wish that members of Congress—who may soon be voting on new gun control measures—would read this essay, but I realize that’s a pipe dream, considering the impenetrable bubbles around those exalted entities. So I’ll settle for you, Mr. (or Ms.) Security Agent, since you already gobble up everything on the internet, and I don’t have to seek you out.

(From Neal Boortz via Weasel Zippers)  This really has to be seen to be believed … so the picture is here for you to see.  This is a page out of a work book for your government school student.  What school and what school book I can’t tell you … maybe the lady who sent this to me will step forward and let us know.

This is how our government schools – and the liberals who run them – effectively brainwash (though indoctrinate is a much more polite word) our children into accepting the liberal philosophy as basic truth.  This particular worksheet is meant to help your government student “understand the distributive property.”  Now I’m not a dreary slouch at math … but this is the first time in my life I’ve ever heard of the distributive property.  (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – President Obama has picked Myrlie Evers-Williams, widow of slain civil rights icon Medgar Evers, to deliver the invocation at his public swearing-in later this month. It is believed to be the first time a woman, and a layperson rather than a clergy member, has been chosen to deliver what may be America’s most prominent public prayer.

The inaugural committee Tuesday plans to announce that the benediction will be given by conservative evangelical pastor Louie Giglio, founder of the student-focused Passion Conferences, which draw tens of thousands of people to events around the world. (more…)

We were going to write last week about the Gabby Giffords opportunistic visit to Sandy Hook parents in Newtown, CT.   We chose not to, because of the grandma principle behind saying nothing when ya ain’t got nothing good to say; and she is cognitively disabled.  However…..

Gabrielle Giffords is merely a useful tool in the scheme to disarm gun owners.   The “crisis” not to be wasted is obviously the Newtown shooting;  And the group or individual to be “alinskyed” ie isolated, ridiculed and marginalized, is the NRA.

Most gun owners are not NRA members, and many gun owners do not like the previous positions of the NRA on other political issues.   But the Alinsky Team of Fabian Socialists need a specific target – that’s where the NRA comes in.   The NRA is specifically and optically being intentionally built into the narrative of ‘all gun owners’.  It’s how this crew works.

WASHINGTON DC – Former U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords D-Ariz. launched a new policy group this morning dubbed Americans for Responsible Solutions. The organization calls for government action to stop gun violence. (more…)

If anyone wants to go back and look at historical references to Germany circa 1933/1934 this is profoundly similar in ideology.    Jewish Mayor Ed Koch supported, and endorsed, candidate Obama even though he knew Obama was hateful toward Israel.   Koch, says he figured Obama would win, so it would be better to support him and maybe Obama would go easier ‘on his’ people after the endorsement.

It’s like we’ve entered a time-warp back to the time of Dietrich Bonhoeffer:

Hitler knew his opponents were divided and couldn’t unite against him.  He would play them off each other brilliantly and would consolidate his power with breathtaking speed and a calculating ruthlesses for which no one was prepared.  On February 3 (still 1933) Goebbels wrote in his diary: “Now it will be easy to carry on the fight, for we can call on all the resources of the State.  Radio and press are at our disposal.  We shall stage a masterpiece of propaganda.  And this time, naturally, there is no lack of money.”  [ p. 145 of Bonhoeffer by Eric Metaxas]

In Discussing HAGEL – I admire former Mayor Ed Koch’s willingness to break with his own party on issues of principle, but his comments to the Algemeiner today are mind-boggling. In between some very strong denunciations of the Chuck Hagel nomination, Koch casually let it drop that he suspected Obama would abandon his pro-Israel positions after the election.
