The old timers said that a dry, chill wind was blowing out of the northwest, right from the heart of the Commancheria, that dawn of March 6, 1836. It ripped the palls of black smoke billowing from the old Alamo mission into ragged tendrils and hurled them away, as if trying to clear the air of the sickly sweet smell of burning flesh and the acrid stench of gunpowder. By the time the sun broke above the horizon and cast a golden light over the old mission-turned-fortress, gunshots still sporadically rent the air, but the main sound was that of an enraged mob. The Philadelphia media is one of the most race-adverse media outlets in the country.   They do anything and everything to hide the facts of race-based assaults and killings.  Such is the case in Upper Darby PA where a 12-year-old white boy, Bailey O’Neill, was jumped and beaten in school by two black kids.  

Baily was rushed to the hospital, spent 2 months on life-support, and died this week.

The kids who killed him?   They were suspended from school for two days.  

Jesse Jackson would be proud.  

Maybe – because of quotas for black discipline –  they are waiting for two white kids to kill a black kid, then they can expel the black abusers and arrest them.  It’s affirmative action combined with adverse impact (quota) rules…. or something.   Ask 2-J’s to explain it.  Or ask President Obama who implemented it in his August Executive Order.

PENNSYLVANIA – A suburban Philadelphia sixth-grader was pulled off life support Sunday, a  day after his 12th birthday and almost two months since he was punched in the  face in a perceived bullying attack at school.

Southeast Delco School District officials confirmed that Bailey O’Neill, who  had been in the hospital in a medically induced coma, has died.

One of the two tormenters punched him so hard that he broke the boy’s nose  and left him with a concussion, NBC 10 Philadelphia reported.  The students who reportedly jumped O’Neill were suspended from school for  two days.

Trying to take full advantage of a faux-crisis….

WASHINGTON DC – Never say the White House isn’t affected by sequestration. The Visitors Office just notified Congress that tours of the White House are cancelled until further notice.

“Due to staffing reductions resulting from sequestration, we regret to inform you that White House Tours will be canceled effective Saturday, March 9, 2013 until further notice,” the White House email to legislative offices explains.

“Unfortunately, we will not be able to reschedule affected tours. We very much regret having to take this action, particularly during the popular Spring touring season.”  (more)

WASHINGTON DC – The Obama administration denied an appeal for flexibility in lessening the sequester’s effects, with an email this week appearing to show officials in Washington that because they already had promised the cuts would be devastating, they now have to follow through on that.

In the email sent Monday by Charles Brown, an official with the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service office in Raleigh, N.C., Mr. Brown asked “if there was any latitude” in how to spread the sequester cuts across the region to lessen the impacts on fish inspections. (more…)

The most transparent administration evah just can’t seem to find folks not embroiled in some sort of manipulative cover-up.   Funny that.

WASHINGTON DC – President Barack Obama tapped Environmental Protection Agency official Gina McCarthy to head the agency on Monday, but a widening probe into the use of secret email addresses by high-level EPA officials could slow her nomination and cause headaches for the administration.

Obama chose McCarthy, current assistant administrator for the Office of Air and Radiation at the EPA, to replace former EPA administrator Lisa Jackson.

Jackson resigned amid growing scrutiny over her use of a secret email address to conduct official business, which watchdog groups say is a possible violation of federal record laws. (more…)

Those pesky “rebels” that Hillary, Obama, Powers and Rice supported – the ones who killed Ambassador Stevens in Benghazi – you know, the ones we really didn’t know what their ideology was but we sent them missiles and guns n’ stuff,…. well, they’re back at it again....

[Hat Tip WeaselZippers] LIBYA – Libyan Islamists detained 48 Egyptian Christians in Benghazi last week, torturing them and using acid to burn off tattoos of the cross, according to family members. The Christians, who are peddlers, were arrested by Islamist Salafists in Benghazi, who said they had Christian icons at their marketplace stalls, according to Mideast Christian News.

The men were later reportedly freed and await deportation, but their family members back home told the Egyptian press they were abused while held, initially on charges of proselytizing. “When the residents of the village told me that he was imprisoned, I embraced his sons and told them they would not see their father again,” Fardoos Salib, the mother of Coptic farmer Atif Kamel, told Egyptian newspaper al-Watan. Some may ignore – But we ask the same questions again, and again.   Why do they need these?   – This is beyond Creepy – Who is the DHS going to war against? 

The Federal Government ordered almost 2 billion rounds of ammunition.   They ordered targets looking like average armed citizens.  They are conducting military style exercises in urban areas.  North Carolina police say they are practicing for martial law.

Via Modern Survival Blog – The Department of Homeland Security (through the U.S. Army Forces Command) recently retrofitted 2,717 of these ‘Mine Resistant Protected’ vehicles for service on the streets of the United States.
