All, My name is Joe Sirochman owner of American Spirit Arms and I wanted to share my recent experience with Bank of America .(which we have been doing business with for over 10 years)…. Everyone is familiar with the latest increase in guns sales , dealers selling out of inventory , Manufacturers back logged for months , large revenue all generated in the last two weeks …. American Spirit Arms is no exception to the overwhelming demand . What we have experienced is that our web site orders have jumped 500 % causing our web site E commerce processing larger Deposits to BANK OF AMERICA ..Well, this through up a huge RED Flag with Bank of America . So they decided to hold the deposits for further review , meaning that the orders/payments that were coming in through the web ,( being paid by the customer and that were shipped out by American Spirit Arms ),the BANK was keeping (UNDER REVIEW )..as you could imagine this made me furious…After countless hours on the phone with BANK OF AMERICA I finally got a Manager in the right department that told me the reason that the deposits were on hold for FURTHER REVIEW …HER EXACT WORDS WERE … (more…)

Now that Mitch McConnell -the creepy senate galapagous tortoise guy- has insufferably stated Republicans will “study any recommendations and then see what’s appropriate to do”.   I have, with specific and complete certainty,  lost all hope for any Second Amendment firearm ownership.    Gun and firearm ownership will soon be lost.

The: “Stop The Slaughter of Our Innocent Children, Defend Our Schools, Protect the Feeble and Huddled Masses, and Be Safe in Your Country From The Radical -Violent- Blood Thirsty- Extremists” bill – will contain all manner of stuff, not just the elimination of gun ownership.

Oh, how quickly people forget.  Obamacare included the takeover of college education finance too, not just a healthcare takeover.

SUNDAY NON-FUNNY  Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell federal [says] spending and the country’s debt will dominate the congressional agenda for the next three months, and that debate about potential gun legislation in the wake of the Connecticut school shooting will take a back seat.

The Kentucky lawmaker tells ABC’s “This Week” that lawmakers will wait to see what an Obama administration review led by Vice President Joe Biden might propose. McConnell says Congress will need to study any recommendations and then see what’s appropriate to do.

But he says that over the coming months, nothing much beyond the country’s finances will occupy the attention of Congress.  (more)

WASHINGTON DC – The White House and gun control supporters are gearing up for a whirlwind month, with plans to pass reform legislation before outrage over the Sandy Hook massacre has a chance to fade.

While the fiscal cliff has dominated Washington’s attention in recent weeks, lawmakers and activists are laying the groundwork for their big push. Vice President Joe Biden, tasked with heading a commission to investigate gun violence, has been quietly meeting with experts, interest groups, and public officials and is expected to release a set of recommendations within weeks. Boston mayor Thomas Menino, co-chair of Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns, told the Boston Herald this week that an optimistic Biden had assured him that Obama would sign legislation “by the end of January.” (more…)

If you choose to “live free” you should “Die”…..  Some of that ‘civility stuff’ the Progressive Left loves to banter about;  As if they had any… 

New Hampshire – [F]or those unaware, a conservative project of sorts has been underway in New Hampshire since 2001. The idea is that Americans of conservative ideals are to move to New Hampshire, gather in communities, run for office, and work to drive the state toward libertarianism and conservatism. It is called the “Free State Project” and adherents are called “Free Staters.”

These Free Staters figure that the state’s motto, “Live Free or Die,” should really mean something and it is these citizens whose freedoms legislator Chase wants to oppress.

In her December 21 post, Chase wrote that, “Free Staters are the single biggest threat the state is facing today.” (more…)

TEXAS – The second of two Texas State troopers at the center of a lawsuit involving a roadside cavity search  has been suspended with pay.

The two women from Irving are suing Trooper David Farrell, Trooper Kelley Helleson and the director of the Department of Public Safety for what they call an unconstitutional search without probable cause.

On Thursday, the DPS said Farrell had been suspended with pay effective Dec. 21 pending the outcome of an investigation into the incident. Helleson had also been suspended with pay on Dec. 19.  (updated link)

Bumped. Another Media Report Here – But, let me just clear something up.  This was not a search; This was not reasonable; This was recorded forcible sexual assault by police officers under the auspices of their threatening authority.   Rape, period.

There were no attempts to search their pockets.  They were not told to empty their purses, or put their personal contents on the ground or top of car for inspection.  This was not a pat down – the officer never even checked the legs, socks or shoes.  The female officer was not conducting a search, she immediately put her fingers in the anus and vagina of both victims. WASHINGTON DC – Members of the 113th Congress introduced 10 bills on Thursday relating to gun violence, most of which came from Democrats seeking new restrictions on gun ownership.

The flurry of legislative proposals show that members are likely to push the issue in the wake of the December shooting at a Connecticut elementary school that left 20 children dead.

Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.), whose husband was shot to death in 1993, introduced four of the bills. The congresswoman has vowed to seek changes in federal law in response to the school shooting. (more…)

Casablanca — Although Ahmed Boukhtala is the main suspect in the September 11th terrorist attack on US consulate in Benghazi as well as a suspect in assassination of Libyan rebel commander Major General Abdelfattah Younis, he continues to live freely in Benghazi.

Conflicting reports have claimed that Boukhtala was imprisoned while others have said he escaped from prison and is now a fugitive. However, sources in Benghazi told Magharebia that Boukhtala remains at large and that the Libyan authorities have not arrested him.

“Boukhtala is not detained, and no official charges were made against him,” political activist Samir al-Jahani told Magharebia. “However, there are many suspicions around him.” (more…)
