Speaking to a room filled with young college kids this morning, Obama blathered on promising them the moon and the stars, if only they would help him convince the “rich” to pay their fair share.  Nothing more than Obama beating the drums of class warfare thinly disguised as “shared responsibility”.  Rush begins his great monologue with, “He’s explicitly banking on the fact that he can be reelected by a dependent class (takers) that outnumber a working class (producers).”

James Cathey of the United States Marine Corps, killed in Iraq, Katherine Cathey refused to leave the casket, asking to sleep next to his body for the last time.  The Marines made a bed for her, tucking in the sheets below the flag. Before she fell asleep, she opened her laptop computer and played songs that reminded her of “Cat”, and one of the Marines asked if she wanted them to continue standing watch as she slept.  “I think it would be kind of nice if you kept doing it”, she said. “I think that’s what he would have wanted.” (From a public Facebook page)

Apparently Santorum doesn’t agree with the MSM that the CPAC and Maine straw polls were such BIG wins.  He does agree, however, that paying people to turn out is the way most straw polls are won.  After all, with Campaign Romney, the appearance of momentum MUST be maintained.

Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, rushed to hospital after mom dies

18-year-old taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, reportedly got into fight with cops at hotel.

(DailyNews)…Whitney Houston’s 18-year-old daughter was rushed to a hospital Sunday from the same hotel where her mother died the night before, the Daily News confirmed.  Bobbi Kristina Brown was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on a stretcher after having a breakdown.  “She was transported to the hospital for a medical issue” around 11 a.m. Los Angeles time, Police Sgt. (toofab)…Whitney Houston died this afternoon — just days after she was seen enjoying a night out with her daughter Bobbi Kristina in L.A.  The 48-year-old singer stepped out to Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love Of R&B GRAMMY Party at Tru Hollywood on Thursday night — her last red carpet appearance before her death.  It was a rare public appearance for Whitney, who hadn’t been on a red carpet for an entire year before that.

Mark refers to Obama’s HHS Mandate as the most brazen power grab in modern American history.  He’s ordered every private insurance company to provide various contraceptive devices and medicines for free, whether they can afford to or not.  Since when does the President have the authority to write private business contracts?  Adding insult to injury, his latest compromise is nothing short of a “deceptive accounting ruse” cooked up to circumvent religious beliefs and allow the church to pretend there is no problem.

On their first night in the field, the latest Public Policy Polling survey in Michigan has Rick Santorum leading Mitt Romney, along with the key finding that only 20% of Republicans surveyed considered Romney to really be from Michigan.
