Notes From an Engineer – ObamaCare Realities

Obamacare April FoolsYesterday someone posted this story on my Facebook news feed.  Checking on the internet, there are appearances of this same story a year ago, at least one website said that they had verified the insurance rates for the income parameters mentioned and, apparently, it was making the email rounds.  I searched Snopes to see if it appears there, but did not find it.  Don’t know who wrote this, but it seems to match reports that others have recounted about their experiences with the ACA state insurance exchanges.  The information about health care provided for illegal aliens is particularly interesting.

French police said Friday they have successfully concluded the two hostage situations following the Charlie Hebdo massacre.
The first incident Friday, in Dammartin-En-Goele near the Charles de Gaulle airport outside of Paris, concluded with the killing of the two Charlie Hebdo suspects, according to Le Monde newspaper.
The two brothers — Cherif and Said Kouachi — were cornered inside a printing house after taking a hostage, police sources said. They also told negotiators they “want to die as martyrs,” according to the New York Times. (more…)
