I checked Jack Cashill’s Website earlier today, and found this:
“Ebook available around September 1”
Curious, I went to Amazon.com and, sure enough, the EBook is available TODAY!
The book:
From Weasel Zippers:

There has been a lot of discussion that the President hasn’t even spoken to Congress on Syria, let alone brought the matter to Congress for approval, as is required by the Constitution. Remember this tweet from Ted Cruz?

Excellent News from John Fund at National Review Online:
This hasn’t been a good week for radical filmmaker Michael Moore. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that he recently lost a re-election bid for his position as a governor on the Academy Award’s documentary board.
I don’t know about you, but any time it hasn’t been a good week for Michael Moore, it becomes a better week for me.

Just in case you haven’t heard of it, The Woodward Dream Cruise has been an annual event for the past 19 years in suburban Detroit. One Saturday in mid-August Woodward Avenue (Michigan Highway 1), is once again the home of Detroit muscle cars, and other unusual domestic and foreign vehicles.
“The Cruise”, as we in the neighborhood refer to it, is a free event that stretches along Woodward Ave. from the State Fair Grounds, which is located inside Detroit just south of the city line (8 Mile Rd), continuing on a northwest path, terminating in the center of Pontiac, MI. On it’s route (roughly 15 miles), it passes through the communities of Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge, Huntington Woods, Royal Oak, Berkley, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, and Pontiac. In 2013, August 17th is the Big Day! (more…)
“ANDREW BREITBART is an invaluable asset to the Commonsense Conservative cause. RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION is a manual and a call to action for awakened patriots who are too intelligent to believe the leftist media lies and distortions… Breitbart reminds us why we must fight for our country’s future by staying true to core values and never retreating.”
– Sarah Palin
“RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION starts off where many conservatives are born: after college when liberalism’s theoretical utopia begins to clash with the real world. Gen X slacker Breitbart transforms himself – with a little help from yours truly – into a cultural warrior, a New Media powerhouse, and one of the conservative movement’s most ferocious fighters. Brash, funny, fiery, and irreverent, Breitbart and his Big sites put liberals on the defensive – where they belong” – Rush Limbaugh
This is not a book review (at least the way I understand it). I love the book, I’ve had it for a long time, and I am not even finished reading it yet. I read the middle first, and then the end, and now I am reading the beginning.

Excellent post at American Thinker today, by Robert Oscar Lopez, “The Political Problem of Evil.”

I post this with trepidation – knowing that it will spark yet another round of comments about racism at the Tree. I say, “The Truth Will Set You Free”, and ask the question, as does the author of this Politico piece, Why Can’t We Talk About IQ?

I just heard the founder of Life Remodeled, Chris Lambert, interviewed on Detroit AM radio station, WJR. He’s a man who was born in California, was raised in Indiana and, in his words, was called to Detroit.

His organization has been working in the Southeast Michigan area for several years now, concentrating on improving the life of one family, and one neighborhood, at a time. The family gets a new home, financial counseling, family counseling, and religious counseling if the family desires it. The neighborhood gets a facelift. Since 2011 they have built five brand new houses (each in 6 days) in Farmington Hills, Hazel Park, Pontiac, Redford, and Westland, Michigan. These are all in the Metro Detroit area.
The 2013 Build in is Detroit. Their goal, to accomplish in just 6 days:

When I was a punk teen and twenty-something, I did drugs, dealt drugs, debased women, burglarized homes and was kicked out of both high school and college for my behavior.
When I was sixteen-years-old, I was arrested on Mother’s Day for stealing water skis and was placed on probation.
This essay by Doug Giles appears today in Townhall.

My experience started when the NAN website coordinating the national protests was posted on reddit.com/r/trayvonmartin. I contacted the listed organizer, named Chas Moore, and asked for additional information. I received the link to this facebook group. Later, I would meet the leaders of the event including Chas Moore (NAN), Lucian Villasenor (Int. Socialist Org.), Sterling Lance, and Ana Correa (texascjc).
The time and place was Noon on Saturday at the state capital. I reached out to my friends in the Austin Police Department to make sure they were aware of the gathering, and prepared for potential violence or rioting. I was concerned about this growing list.
Unable to contact my friends in the police, I continued with my plans to attend the rally. I immediately had some female friends design and construct my sign.
Unfortunately, due to the heat and lack of fellow Zimmerman supporters to delegate holding of the sign to, I decided to leave it in my car. (Don’t tell the girls, they worked hard on that sign!)
