Friend of the Treehouse John Spriopoulos attended the January 6th rally in Washington DC and provides this second video report from the event. [First Report Here]

This is the second “Spirit of America” report “featuring people from across the USA who came to Washington to express concerns about the election and the restrictions on the personal liberties.”

“[W}e came away with stories reflecting the Spirit of America. Yes, we may be entering a Brave New World, but I’m comforted by the Rebel Alliance I know exists because I talked to them face to face from southern California to the Ellipse in DC.”

There may be a few more reports from John as he assembles, edits and presents more interviews from last week’s Washington DC event.  Additionally, John shares with us his plan to keep reporting on stops as he travels back to California from DC.  “On the way back across the country I’m going to resume the Let’s Roll America tour with a twist. The focus: COVID Compliance and how it’s wrecked the economy, lives and personal liberties. If you have any ideas, I’m all ears.”

In an effort to keep the Daily Open Thread a little more open topic we are going to start a new daily thread for “Presidential Politics”. Please use this thread to post anything relating to the Donald Trump Administration and Presidency.

This thread will refresh daily and appear above the Open Discussion Thread.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

First things first…. It is important to identify protection and favor when it surfaces.  CTH is not only thankful for our ability to be faithful stewards to our community, but at this specific inflection point we are thankful to God for his providence.  CTH stands steadfast!

Was it not for the notification and deplatforming in November, and the inspired members of the Rebel Alliance that came to our aid, we may not have survived the past 24 hours.

Thank you.  We are humble and steadfast to our mission.  Ever faithful.

To the larger CTH community, we are fortunate to have an anti-fragile system in place to withstand the deplatforming currently underway by Big Tech.  So-far, so-good, fingers crossed.

Labeling his content as subversive to the interests of the new totalitarian state, Twitter has announced their permanent deletion of Donald Trump’s Twitter account because of how his tweets can be “perceived and interpreted”.

“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence.” (link)

Consider their statement carefully because, in essence, Big Tech is banning the voice of President Donald Trump because they claim it may generate wrong think amid others. The Twitter statement continues using these two Tweets as justification for the ban:

[Via Twitter] “We assessed the two Tweets referenced above under our Glorification of Violence policy, which aims to prevent the glorification of violence that could inspire others to replicate violent acts and determined that they were highly likely to encourage and inspire people to replicate the criminal acts that took place at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.”

“This determination is based on a number of factors, including”:

Extreme control efforts are a reaction to extreme fear.  If the left-wing political elements who control most social media platforms were not fearful they would not be taking such aggressive action.  Today Brandon Straka announces his #WalkAway group has been removed from Facebook and deplatformed.

(link)

The “Walk Away” movement was an organization of voices of former Democrats who turned away from the extreme leftist moves by the democrat party.  The group was supportive of President Trump and the populist ‘America First’ message.

This move comes after Joe Biden called President Trump supporters “domestic terrorists” and announced his administration’s intent to target those voices as members of an insurrection against his administration.  An alarming move to a totalitarian state where dissenting voices must be silenced and removed.

Earlier today President Trump announced he will not attend the Joe Biden inauguration in Washington DC.

That said, the Biden team is likely to use the COVID narrative, in combination with the new mantra of domestic terrorist threats, as an excuse for the lack of public interest in a traditional inauguration event.  There will not be crowds at the Capitol for a swearing-in.

Much like the Biden team created a Potemkin village of a presidential campaign, a ruse to hide the lack of visible support, the JoeBama team will likely hold a virtual ceremony of sorts devoid from physical supporter presence and with few on-line attendees.

The need for control is a reaction to fear.  The far-left is in full totalitarian mode.

As John notes, “This is the first in our series of “Spirit of America” reports featuring people from across the USA who came to Washington to express concerns about the election and the restrictions on the personal liberties.”

“Despite the disappointing ending at the Capitol, both inside and out, we came away with stories reflecting the Spirit of America. Yes, we may be entering a Brave New World, but I’m comforted by the Rebel Alliance I know exists because I talked to them face to face from southern California to the Ellipse in DC.”

Given the intense media-spin from the disappointing end to the DC rally, an additional first-hand report on the events on January 6th is provided below:
