Against the backdrop of the ridiculous McKinney Pool Party racist claims being promoted by and insufferable media; and against the backdrop on Monday where Texas Black activists stated black people were going to start shooting police officers (video above), the following happened on Tuesday.
A Houston Texas cop was conducting a routine traffic stop. As he walked back to his vehicle he was shot in the back, at random, by someone, from an unknown location.

HOUSTON (KTRK) — An HPD officer is recovering after being shot during a traffic stop near Midtown yesterday.
According to HPD, Officer Terry Smith, a motorcycle officer, was conducting a stop around 6pm in the 4200 block of Main Street. As he walked away, the officer heard a loud pop then felt pain. A bullet had struck the 20-year veteran in the lower back.
Officer Smith did not suffer life-threatening wounds but was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he underwent surgery. He’s expected to make a full recovery.
During a press conference Tuesday night, an HPD spokesperson said the incident is still under investigation.
“We believe at this time, since there wasn’t a lot of foot traffic, it’s gotta be a passing vehicle that fired the round,” the spokesperson said.
McClelland said the officer was not confronting any suspects, and investigators cannot confirm if he was even the intended target. They’re hoping surveillance video will provide some clues.
Smith is assigned to the traffic division. He has six children. (read more)
Chief McClelland: There is no such thing as a routine traffic stop. Officers must be vigilant at all times.
