(Via Truth Revolt) Buried in the heavily-reported story of protesters stopping buses full of immigrants being relocated to Murrieta, California this week was a small detail about what is the next step for the government in their effort to move the large groups into new facilities.
Unable to pass, the buses eventually backed down the street and headed to another facility about an hour and a half away from here. Gone from this location for now, but still in the United States. And the next group of 140 migrants is expected to arrive here on the Fourth of July.
The 140 people on the buses that were stopped were processed instead in San Diego, according to officials. The group consists mainly of people from Central America, which means that they are processed by Customs rather than being immediately deported as would a Mexican citizen illegally crossing the border. After being processed, they are released from custody and directed to report to a hearing that usually takes place within a few weeks. Murrieta City Council Member and Mayor Pro-Tem Harry Ramos argues that the vast majority of the released individuals do not follow-through and appear at the hearings.
Despite repeated reports from liberal media outlets, Murrieta Police Chief Sean Hadden confirmed to CNN that the buses which were prevented from unloading in Murrieta contained no unaccompanied minors.
The buses will continue to run every 72 hours, and the next arrival of approximately 140 people will likely face protest as they arrive on the day that celebrates not only the founding of this nation, but its very sovereignty. (link)
