THERE IS A LESSON IN HERE..… Last week two different people used social media to send messages.

State Representative Joe Mitchell sent an e-mail:

‘Hey man,’ Mitchell wrote. ‘Your folk never used all this sheit [sic] to protect my folk from your slave-holding, murdering, adulterous, baby-raping, incestuous, snaggle-toothed, backward-a**ed, inbreed [sic], imported criminal-minded kin folk.’

Robert Zimmerman jr tweeted a picture:

Both of them were accused of racist intentions.   But the media only showcased one of them, Zimmerman; and subsequently only demanded an apology from one of them.

Private Citizen Robert Zimmerman Jr. did apologize for comparing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin (the young man who assaulted his brother) to 17-year-old De’Marquise Elkins (the young man who shot a 13-month-old baby in the head).

But what about the Public Servant, Democrat State Representative – Joe Mitchell, who is black, and who wrote this to one of his white constituents:

Your folk never used all this sheit [sic] to protect my folk from your slave-holding, murdering, adulterous, baby-raping, incestuous, snaggle-toothed, backward-a**ed, inbreed [sic], imported criminal-minded kin folk

ALABAMA – State Rep. Joseph Mitchell, D-Mobile, has confirmed via social media and in interviews this week that he sent a series of racially charged emails in response to an inquiry from a Jefferson County man, saying his comments were misunderstood and that he saw no reason to apologize.

AL.com on Wednesday reported on the correspondence between Mitchell and Eddie Maxwell, a retired coal miner who sent a mass email to legislators in January advising them not to pass any new restrictions on gun owners.

“I was NOT elected to make people happy. I was NOT elected to say what somebody ELSE wants me to say,” Mitchell wrote. “I got elected because I protect my community. Folk in other communities were electd (sic) to do the same thing. We do not need ‘leadership’ to go noplace.”

[…]“I am a descendent of a run-away slave. If you have problems with THAT, then it’s YOUR PROBLEM,” (link)

A hispanic man, comparing two same age black youths who were shooting their middle finger proudly on social media, before engaging in violent criminal activity, is called a racist and an immediate apology is expected.

A black man, an elected official, a public servant; who calls his white constituents ‘slave-holding, murdering, adulterous, baby-raping, incestuous, snaggle-toothed, backward-a**ed, inbreed [sic], imported criminal-minded kin folk‘, apparently is not-racist, is accepted by the media, and proclaims no need to apologize.

Which is really the racist in these two examples….. and yet, who is actually accused of racism?

Think.

This is why you never apologize for speaking the truth, even when it is painful.   State the truth – stand on the truth – and challenge the vile natured manipulators to come out of the shadows and confront you in the sunlight.
