Attorney General Eric Holder spoke in Little Rock, Arkansas on Wednesday at the annual convention for N.O.B.L.E (National Organization of Black Law Enforcement).  Full Transcript of Speech HERE.   During his prepared remarks, according to the Arkansas News, Holder stated:

‘We understand, as do all of you, that public confidence in the fairness of law enforcement activities and operations can increase the likelihood that community members will accept legal outcomes, that they will comply with the law and that they will even assist in investigations,” .

[…] On a personal note, I want to say thanks – this organization and its members have had my back, in recent weeks and always.

Eric Holder, US Attorney General

No, Mr. Holder I don’t actually think you do understand.   I wonder how many audience members found this an interesting comment from the only Attorney General in US history found in contempt of congress for failure to comply with congressional investigation?

Apparently we are to infer if Mr Holder had more “confidence in fairness” he would have “increased his likelihood” he would have “accepted the legal outcome” of his refusal to comply with congressional oversight.

Does anyone else notice how under President Obama’s administration we have become a nation of opinionated men within the executive branch applying their personal interpretation of laws, instead of just enforcing them as the constitution outlines.
